I'm going to work this tournament like the G-1 Climax tournament in New Japan. The tournament will start as a round robin tournament with 2 blocks of wrestlers. The top 2 wrestlers in will move on to a 4 man tournament to decide the winner. The general weight limit for consideration in the tournament is 290 lbs.
The entrants:
Andre the Giant Nikolai Volkoff One Man Gang King Kong Bundy Don Leo Jonathan Giant Baba Terry Gordy Ox Baker Masked Superstar II Amish Roadkill Angelo Mosca Bruiser Brody

This is that "one of these things is not like the other" games, right?
ahem....(Roadkill)....ahem
IF something goes terribly wrong with Andre, I like DLJ's chances. He's not the flashiest guy, but for some reason he tends to pull out the big wins for me.

Yeah, Roadkill is going to get slaughtered. I thought about having Williams gain some weight like Brody. But I figured a jobber in the tournament won't hurt anyone.
I'm thinking:
Block A:
Andre the Giant Nikolai Volkoff Terry Gordy Bruiser Brody Amish Roadkill Masked Superstar II
Block B:
Don Leo Jonathan Giant Baba King Kong Bundy One Man Gang Ox Baker Angelo Mosca

If MS2 was in the other Block, then I would have him facing Andre in the finals. From the Blocks, I have to go with Andre vs. Baba in the finals.

I admire your willingness to play five consecutive singles matches with Roadkill.

That would be...umm interesting.....for really interesting Roadkill vs either Sheepherder.
Anyways, yeah, Andre vs Baba sounds about right to me.

If MS2 was in the other Block, then I would have him facing Andre in the finals. From the Blocks, I have to go with Andre vs. Baba in the finals. That is possible. The first place wrestler in one block will face the second place winner from the other block. I think the final will be Andre vs. Baba. Looking forward to running this. I hope Roadkill's matches are short and painless.

And I did make sure and spare myself the pain of a Roadkill/Bundy match up happening.

I always thought Bundy should be a little better... he should be able to beat SOMEONE besides Koko B. Ware, IMO.

I always thought Bundy should be a little better... he should be able to beat SOMEONE besides Koko B. Ware, IMO. In my experience, Bundy is pretty solid if he has someone to 'protect' him (ala Heenan).

I always thought the same thing. No world titles doesn't mean Bundy wasn't a force in the wrestling world. A three pin would be one thing I'd change.

I think Bundy is okay where he is. He's got a stellar defense aside from the 7 (4) rating. His finisher also means that he can surprise anyone and pick up a win.
In my United States Title Tournament in October he beat Diamond Dallas Page, Pepper Gomez and Dick Hutton on his way to losing to Dibiase in the finals. Now granted, that's the best he's ever done for me but it does show his potential in the ring.

I've never got him to win more than 1 match in a row... even with a manager.. maybe my dice just don't like him.

Bundy is captain inconsistent for me as well. He can beat a top guy and then lose to a curtain jerker!

Thankfull, Roadkill went down quickly and easily in 3 of his 5 matches. 0-5 overall which I expected.
