Why do you write your results? For you? Others to read? Do you even care to do post it (for those who don't)? Do you write in detail? Why? How do view others' results that just have match outcome?
You see, I love Trav's results, but he puts more emphasis on promos. I put more emphasis on what happens in the ring.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. Also, the LOW discussion has been great, even if some was negative. I really love this community. We can actually speak.

Well with my federations it depends.
-With my LWA fed, it will be brief results with some backstage/interview segments. -My GWF federation is just results..storylines take a backseat. -My Personal LOW federation is in great detail, with months of angles written in advance and carefully planned out...unless the dice screw me over. This fed never gets posted..too much to type up.

I don't post or really record many results. Just a list of who has held what belt. For me, I find the fun is in playing. Writing does not interest me. I enjoy reading other feds, but doing the writing is not my thing.

Executioner makes a good point there. WHile I do love writing, it is the other peoples feds I love reading. A well written fed (See Tim Dalton on the Official board for a great write) can consume many hours of reading. I can read Dalton's fed cover to cover and never get board.

When I write stuff up, it's usually because I think it will be fun to share the stuff that goes on in my head while I'm playing the card... you know you have the announcers calling your matches while you're playing.
When I was a kid, I'd actually do the play-by-play out loud in the 'announcer voice' (usually a very excited, high pitched voice).. now I'm much more mature and the voice doesn't (often) make it outside my head.
Alot of times writing out the promos helps me soliidfy and/or refine my booking plans, and there's the obvious benefit of being able to look back after a layoff and see what you were up to.

Since I'm used to writing EWR/TEW feds, my style for writing shows is largely the same as that. Mostly just giving details on the matches, summaries of promos, and poking fun at myself while doing it because I do stupid shit with my booking from time to time but we all do.

I never go back through old shows I've done. All I see are all of the missed chances I had as a booker or angles I started hinting at and then forgot about for one reason or another.

I forgot to mention the WWWA. This is my women's fed that uses all the same bootleg cards that Ty uses. I run the results like the UFC. There's a prelim card and a main card. There are no angles but there are your typical sports rivalries and such. Also winning/losing is everything. I might post it eventually.

I post results for others to read. My feds have a lot of things that happen that I never post. I just record it in my head and keep track of it that way.

I write up my results for others to read and love to read them as well.
My dice dictate my angles though. I have a rough sketch of where I want to go, but as we all know, sometimes the dice take us somewhere else. Which, for me, is a lot of fun. I never would have created Anarchy if Ricky Landell had not gone on his tear. Or like the last card I was able to play, JD Michaels beat Gordy in like 5 moves, so I set it up as Black distracting Gordy. Booking on the fly is very fun.
