Would it make sense for me to make an MMA section?

I think it would..I have noticed some serious MMA action on here in the past week or so...While I will not play any of the MMA games they do make for a interesting read...GAMMA is a great name for a MMA fed.

Like, a board for MMA feds or just a general MMA board? I'm in favor of either.

Tom mentioned on his Twitter feed today that he's looking into creating a LOW style game for MMA. Not a fan of the sport at all, but I'm just throwing that out there for you.

I'd probably buy it to support the company. Honestly, though, to get some of the guys to sign with them would be a nightmare financially.

I was thinking of a section, with 2 boards, one for RL MMA, one for games and results... I'd probably more the CPC/POW board there( that would be the one for games... probably don't need three, but that could work, too.
I'll have to check out the twitter.... 'creating' a game implies doing something new, rather than using the system he has (POW) and applying it to real fighters.

I'm all for a RL MMA board.

I just don't see Tom signing MMA guys... as easily.
MMA section, yes.

Sarcasm noted. But seriously, think of how much someone like Ken Shamrock or Royce Gracie would want to sign. Even some of the current big name fighters. The price for them would be far too much when it's not a guarantee the game would sell. Then again, someone like Clay Guida probably wouldn't want a ton, and he's a pretty popular fighter.

Glad to see the MMA section.
One of the conditions Mark and I had to agree to when we proposed the MMA system is that the mechanic become part of Filsinger Games. So that system is Tom's.
And these guys have to self promote, yes it would be very expensive to get top names signed. They may even have a clause with UFC guys like with WWE.

Could we get a subsection for the POW game so I don't clutter up the fed forum with posts for it.
