Hey, when I originally made the first batch of these cards my main focus was just getting the drawings out there and the stats are not prefect from a legal gameplay standpoint. However, that's the way they're saved for posterity in the archive section of the FG message boards and on the original site. I have decided to remix the stats on some of the first ones I did to make them more correct (later ones I paid more attention to stats and they're better for the most part).

A work in progress, High Flyer Jumpin Jim Brunzell (goes with the Greg Gagne I did). I haven't done a drawing for it yet, but here are the stats. Cory and Chad know I respect their work, and Tim would if he reads this, but they missed some of his signature moves on the official card and I have included them on this version. JUMPIN JIM BRUNZELL | Height: 5'10"; Weight: 235lbs.; White Bear Lake, MN | Level 1 Offense | Level 1 Defense | 1. arm wringer - 1 2. snap mare - 1 3. hip toss - 2 (pw) 4. arm drag - 2 (ag) 5. forearm uppercut - 2 6. into the turnbuckle | 1. dazed - 1 (tag) 2. dazed - 1 (tag) 3. JUMPIN JIM BRUNZELL - 1 4. JUMPIN JIM BRUNZELL - 2 5. hurt - 2 6. dazed - 1 (tag) | Level 2 Offense | Level 2 Defense | 1. head clap - 2 2. headlock takedown - 2 3. atomic drop - 2 4. into the ropes (c) 5. flying head scissors - 3 (ch E) 6. sleeper - 3 | 1. dazed - 1 2. hurt - 2 (tag) 3. hurt - 2 4. JUMPIN JIM BRUNZELL - 2 5. hurt - 2 (tag) 6. hurt - 2 | Level 3 Offense | Level 3 Defense | 1. leg drop - 2 2. sunset flip - 3 (ch H) 3. out of the ring (c) 4. flying knee smash - 3 5. figure four - 3 6. It makes sense to me that he'd have different moves as a High Flyer that he has as a Killer B.

Its one of my favorite bootleg sets out there, still use several of the cards like Hall/Nash, Slaughter, Doink.....i know there are a few more I use too... Scott Norton......... You should add a few more nWo guys to the new set like The Giant, Syxx (X-pac), Stevie Ray, and Big Poppa Pump version of Scott Steiner. Also a guy like Skinner would work pretty well in this set. I use the Steve Kerin card for him....but it just isnt the same.
Always wanted to ask you on the Luger card......on L1O #6 is that supposed to be a power check instead of an agility check?
7 defensive tags on the Brunzell card...i think that is the most I have ever seen on a card before......
I have a Giant bootleg already done, I could send you the stats to look over if you would like. U going to pdf the new set?

Yeah, 7 tags was supposed to be 6. Good catch. There was one on level 3 defense that didn't belong.
Yes, the Luger card should've had a (pw) in that slot. That's one of the many reasons for my remix versions I'm doing now. There were a lot of errors on the first batch I did that never got corrected.
Don't look for TOO much in the way of brand new cards anytime soon; time is not on my side for that. Maybe a few that I always wanted to get in there, including some nWo guys, but that's about it. I'd like to see what you've got for The Giant since he's one of the guys on my "to do list".
I have no plans to do these in pdf because I currently have no way to do so (home computer doesn't have the right program and I'm not sure I could use the one at work at this time). However, I liked the results when I input the stats into Solberg's card generator and printed it out on cardstock. They look a lot like the original style LOW cards that way (as opposed to now since they switched fonts to be the same as the COTG stuff).

PM'd you about the Giant, KWTA ALSO, for the record, I had never really looked at the archive on the FG board before but I have now and I have a disclaimer: the Battle Kat, Brooklyn Brawler, and Barry Horowitz stats that are attributed to me ARE NOT MINE! Whoever did the bootleg archive just reproduced the stats from Cynthia Miller's Vintage Mayhem bootleg cards. I did my own stats to go with those drawings because I had a very different take on those guys and wanted to put together my own cards to go with the drawings I originally did for her set. I am pretty disappointed that those stats are getting credited to me when I took the time to do my own and anyone who actually looks at that old site can see that. Anyway, here's the latest: GREG GAGNE | Height: 6'0"; Weight: 217lbs.; Mound, MN | Level 1 Offense | Level 1 Defense | 1. side headlock - 1 2. standing arm bar - 1 3. kick to back of leg - 2 4. arm drag and twist - 2 (ag) 5. body slam - 2 (pw) 6. forearm smash - 2 (ch B) | 1. hurt - 2 2. GREG GAGNE - 1 3. GREG GAGNE - 2 4. dazed - 1 5. dazed - 1 (tag) 6. dazed - 1 (tag) | Level 2 Offense | Level 2 Defense | 1. toehold and knee to leg - 2 2. flying head scissors - 2 3. into the ropes 4. flying mare - 2 (ch C) 5. back heel kick - 3 6. 2nd rope knee drop - 3 | 1. hurt - 2 (tag) 2. hurt - 2 (tag) 3. hurt - 2 4. GREG GAGNE - 2 5. GREG GAGNE - 1 6. hurt - 2 | Level 3 Offense | Level 3 Defense | 1. deathjump (c) 2. out of the ring (c) 3. Indian Deathlock - 3 4. dropkicks - 3 5. GAGNE SLEEPER (0) 6. GAGNE SLEEPER (0) | 1. down - 3 2. hurt - 2 3. hurt - 2 4. down - 3 (tag) (lv) 5. PIN 7 (4) 6. hurt - 2 | Ropes -- A Turnbuckle -- B Ring -- B Deathjump -- B Disqualification -- 4 | Agility -2 Power +2 Cage 4 |
I think anyone who follows my CTW write-ups on these boards will be able to figure out how I plan to bulk up the tag team ranks after seeing these last two.

I altered the stats on The Giant slightly to make him a little more like he was when he dominated WCW. Still mad I forgot to put the dropkick on there. I loved it when he did that move in WCW.

Hey Mark, you could probably get Paint to fix/take them down... Grant talked about having some success with that... I'm sure he'd be happy to share his methods (or you could find the thread here... it was a while ago, though)

I take no offense at your version, Mark. If I would make an AWA version of Brunzell, he would differ from the LOW Killer Bees version. Have to make him stronger in singles to compete for Bock's title! And I definitely would name the finisher "High Flying Dropkick" too!

I think this is a great representation of Gagne. Mark, did you consider doing any kind of tag move on his card involving that 2nd rope knee drop? When I've drafted a card for him, I always want to do that, because it was such a prevalent move in his tag matches with Brunzell and Curt Hennig. They'd work both the arm and leg with it, depending on the match. It's tough though, because you don't want to weaken him for singles matches either.

I considered incorporating a tag move into the card. As you wrote though, I didn't want to make him weak in singles in case I ever want to use him in that capacity. That was the deal with Brunzell, too. Both of those guys were competitive in singles action in the AWA (and elsewhere for Brunzell) so I wanted that option for my cards, too.

Since megaupload got taken down and I have decided sharing this stuff via the forums is not the way to go, I'm overhauling all of the cards on the old website and offering the pdf cards there now. That includes the WWF 94 stuff I did last year, and everything else I've put up on message boards and forums in the recent past. www.angelfire.com/wrestling3/legendarystars
