I think I remember Tim saying at G-con that is what Prichard did most of the time in SMW. It is what it is.

Foreign Object is really pretty accurate.....Prichard rarely finished a match clean in SMW for sure.

I can trust Tim's judgment since he was around the area at the time. However, I think something better could have been found. Maybe base it on his Continential run

In Continental it was the superkick, or a step-up enzugiri, but as one of the Heavenly Bodies it was no longer his finish. This is one of those cases where a guy becomes mainly a tag team wrestler and he kind of loses his singles finisher. It just became one of his moves at that point. However, since he needed a singles finisher this is just as good as any and better than saying "HEY, HE DIDN'T HAVE A FINISHER (0)". I suppose the few times he picked up a win in the odd singles match it was probably due to pulling a foreign object.

Tim watched a lot of his SMW tapes for Pritchard, which was the era we based on his card on. Even in tag matches, he wasn't winning cleanly with a specific move. It was lots of racquet shots, powder, chains, loaded knee pads, etc. He was a heel's heel.
I did have some Continental footage that I reviewed, but he was wrestling as a face then, and it wasn't really an accurate representation of the era we were trying to portray.

@ Dustin: would an "International Object" or a "Domestic Object" be more to you liking?

This is one of the big reasons I have a great deal of respect for the LOW card making team. Territory wrestlers moved around alot, or at least wrestled different styles. Trying to pick out the "best" or "most fitting" era and produce a card must be very difficult. And while reasonable minds can differ on a card, I firmly believe the Chad, Cory and Tim do a great job.

You know, instead of a generic "foreign object" finisher, I'd rather seen a roll finisher, something like (example) 6. FOREIGN OBJECT (roll)* *Roll 1 die 1-2: LOADED KNEEPAD (0) 3-4: RACKET SHOT (+1) 5-6: THROW POWDER (+1) Something like that. JMO, I still use my imagination

I like that sorta stuff better, too, but I think it's tough to fit it on the card in a nice clean manner. It's fine for bootlegs when you're just printing out the info, but on an official card I can see shying away from that.
