Just thought I'd ask others opinion on this.
I was thinking of updating my rankings and wanted to weigh some wins more than others (a win over Bockwinkel should mean more than a win over Buddy Rose)
I decided to use the Rahl Ratings with this.
In singles 40 or over - 5 pts 30-39 - 4 pts 20-29 - 3 pts 1-19 - 2 pts 0 or Below - 1 pt
Tag team 90 or over - 5 pts 80-89 - 4 pts 70-79 - 3 pts 60-69 - 2 pts Below 60 - 1 pt
I'm also going to inverse it on a loss since a loss to Virgil should weigh more than a loss to a Buddy Rogers
In singles 40 or over - -1 pts 30-39 - -2 pts 20-29 - -3pts 1-19 - -4 pts 0 or Below - -5 pts
Tag team 90 or over - -1 pt 80-89 - -2 pts 70-79 - -3 pts 60-69 - -4 pts Below 60 - -5 pt
If they score a win via countout or DQ, I'm going to half it.
But my problem is if they have a double DQ/countout, I'm thinking of not assigning any point value. Your thoughts?

I would not assign any point value since you do not have a true "conclusion" with either side winning.

What about half the differance rounded down?
A 40 and a 20 battle to a double DQ, you could give the 20 a bit of a bump and the 40 a bit of a decrease.
In this case (5-3)/2 or +1 would go to the 20 and the negative (-1) would go to the 40.

I would also suggest that you divide the Rahl tag ratings in half and go with the same 40, 30, 20, etc. ratings as for the singles.
