I probably played on a daily basis for a solid 2.5 years. A couple of months ago I really burned out on the game and I honestly have a hard time even looking at the cards or anything.
I want to play more as it's a good creative outlet but it just seems like so much work right now.
What do you guys do to overcome burnout?

I think it's important to take breaks for sure. Playing GWF, then some LOW, then some GWFZ is always a good way to keep playing but keep things fresh at the same time.
Another idea is to give yourself a nice break in the couple of months before Galacticon. That's when most of the new stuff comes out, so you can re-charge, get hyped with the spoilers then be ready to roll when they do.
Good luck with whatever you do.

Play some baseball or Hockey or somethin' .. take a few weeks off.. your feds will still be there when you're ready to go back to 'em.

You get a blond with huge boobs and a nice ass and fu... ;D ....I mean, mix in some SOM or APBA. I have found it hard to do anything with my fed b/c I just don't have time to sit down and focus on it. Life gets in the way of a lot of things that are supposed to be fun. But, as many of you know, when you are running a fed things can get stale. And, as a booker, you need to kill off an angle before it dies on its own, otherwise you can never go back to it

I use a heavy rotation of feds to keep me interested. CotG current, CotG Early Classics and LOW. I'll play about 5 or 10 cards of one, then switch to the next fed I'm interested in. This seems to keep me interested in still rolling. Sometimes I'll get on a creative streak and play a whole bunch of cards for one fed instead of sticking to 5-10. Just let it happen when I do.
Another fun thing has been setting up my own websites for fed. My cards get way more reads than they ever did on any boards and I enjoy finding ways to revamp my websites to make them more unique (like the rankings plugin I recently discovered).
Finally, sad to say, sometimes one thing that sours me on the game is the attitudes of some of the fans of the game. So I make sure to take plenty of breaks for the 'boards' in all incarnations and have even cut one fan board out completely.
Ultimately it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about the game. Or how they play it. All that matters is you enjoy it on your terms, because no matter what anyone tries to tell you, there is no right or wrong way to enjoy it.

When I feel burnt out w/LOW (Don't really play COTG), I just play other wrestling/sports games whether they be video games or card and dice games. This usually doesn't last long and I go back to playing LOW, but that's how I deal with it.

I'll switch it up with some Early Classics if I get burned out on Legends
Another thing is I like to read thru Kayfabe Memories or Wrestling Classics which can give me angles, etc.
