This was an 8 man tournament where the winner got a shot at the U.S. Championship. This is how it went:
Round 1:
Magnum TA d. Bob Roop by count out Kevin Sullivan d. Terry Gordy by DQ Adrian Street d. Jim Londos w/ the Crucifix the Destroyer d. Curt Hennig by DQ
Semi-Finals:
Magnum TA d. Kevin Sullivan by count out the Destroyer d. Adrian Street by DQ
Final:
Magnum TA d. the Destroyer w/ the Belly to Belly Suplex
I hate when that happens. 7 matches and only 2 clean finishes.

I hate when this type stuff happens. In my initial World Title tournament, Candido got to the finals because of three DQ finishes and his opponent in the finals was Curt Hennig, and Hennig won by countout.

When I run important Tournaments for a Championship all matches are No Disqualification, I just find it better that way and I get Solid results...

Looks like the 1990 WWF I-C title tournament that had d.q.s and countouts through it.
