There are a lot of guy signed that just won't make a printed set because the name, may be known, but just isn't big enough. So how upset would you be if Ken Doane or Lash LeRoux were in LOW 11? It's better to get whoever out there in whatever form. Well honestly Doane seems like someone they'd throw into a card set just because. Lash, though...yeah I'd be mad if he took someone's slot in a cardstock set. Gonna be a guy someone thinks should be in a set, like everyone said about Steen. You can't look for really good names in these pdfs though as someone that good would be better served in a printed set. That's a good point. Is there any word on a price for these yet?

It's hard to be upset if you dont know who is getting bumped. I agree it's best to get the cards out there asap and I'm happy with anyone who signs with Legends

Lash and Doane are to very welcome additions. I like both guys and have immediate spots for them both. I am wpndering which card for Doane they will do, because he was awesome in OVW when he wasstarting out. I would like to see more of a singles card, but a tag team style card could make for some interesting tag teams.

No matter how awesome Doane was in OVW, his card shouldn't be top flight strength wise. I'd guess it was based more on his WWE time.

If I had to make an intelligent guess on price, I'd guess $5 per 4 pack... that's what the ACE ones are selling for. I'd like to say they'll give a deal for buying both, but I actually don't think they will. I kinda like Ken Doane, has he done anything since WWE gave up on him? Never heard of Lash LaRoux... cool hair though

Thanks, Graymar... I'll check those out... seems like an interesting character from what I just read on Wiki.
Incidently, I think it's interesting that Kenny is a 'Legend' and not a 'Legend of the Future'... I wonder if they're going for Legend = WWE/WCW/NWA/TNA LOTF = indy guy.

When Doane was in Ohio Valley, I watched all the time and went to the shows. I knew a couple of wrestlers and the E was hoping he was going to follow in Orton's footsteps. He was a great talent in OVW, so just wondering if the SS gimmick broke his "Spirit" somewhat.

Funny you mention him following in Orton's footsteps, because I remember reading a few years ago that he made that comment TO Orton and Orton slapped the shit out of him. He was perfectly fine in OVW, but he also had a higher quality of opponents to work with in OVW than he did in WWE. He had Punk and Albright in OVW, he didn't have anyone like that in WWE that would have ended up squashing him.

Ive heard alot of talk about these guys not "being good enough to be in a set".
Isn't that kind of derogatory? If you were a wrestler, and heard that, would you be willing to sign? I think the official line should be "bonus cards" for loyal promoters.
One mans Buddy Rogers could be another mans Ken Doane. Two guys I'd love to see would be Phil Hickerson or Randy Rose to team with Dennis Condrey. Many may not think much of them, but many may not think much of a Amish Roadkill. All just opinion.
Plus, say you were a fellow wrestler of Ken Doane or Lash. They said they were part of this game and the wrestler checked out the board and saw the "not good enough for a set". Would you be encouraged to sign?

I agree that saying someone is not set worthy is probably not the best idea, especially on the OBoard. I really look at any signings as new possiblities. I know that some may not like Doane or Lash, but they are both great adds. So is Kurragan and Kevin Steen and whoever else makes the set.
Heck, do I use some guys more than others, yes. Certain guys fit better in certain angles, but they all have a place.

I really look at any signings as new possiblities. Totally agree. There were a few guys like DiPaolo and Jonathan I didn't know about, but enjoyed reading about when I found out they were in the game Plus, I'm not going to put down a guy with the "he's only good enough for a PDF" if he was willing to sign with Tom. I appreciate he did and will always find some use in a fed (which is why I run it like the old NWA territories. Just my thoughts. We know guys from Chikari probably read the message board on occasion, so who is to say guys like Doane,Lash, Doring, etc haven't read it.
