First attempt at a bootleg LOW wrestler, Brodus Clay from WWE Superstars. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Attachments:

Looks pretty good strength wise.
Couple suggestions:
You have 2 bear hugs on the card, both with Ch G... you DEFINTELY should change the Ch G on lvl 2 to a different choice.... perhaps D? or E?
I'm not sure I'd give him a -4 power.. that's a bit high for a near jobber... I think I might drop it to -3.
Also, it'd be great if you actually posted the stats in a post intead of the attachment.. be easier that way to edit and for people to review.
If you hit 'quote' on any of the others you'll see the format... you just fill the stats in.

I haven't looked at the card. But if it's a 2 move and a CH then it should be C or F. A lvl 3 move gets CH D or E. CH G or H can only go on lvl. 3 since it gives a deathjump option.

Thanks for all the useful tips and help with tweaking "The Mastodon of Mayhem" Brodus Clay! Look forward to more wrestlers (or are they referred to as "superstars" now since Vince McMahon wants to avoid the word "wrestling"?) from the WWE Superstars show.

The latest draft looks good, but if you want it to be legal from an official card creation standpoint, I'd suggest the following changes: lv 2 offense move 4: bear hug - 2 (ch F) lv 3 offense move 1: side suplex- 2 lv 3 offense move 2: head butt to chest - 3 (ch G) lv 3 offense move 3: out of the ring (c) here's the complete checklist of rules and guidelines from the official site: filsingergames.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=resources&action=display&thread=1297

Thanks for pointing out where I need to make changes on Brodus Clay to make the bootleg "legal" and such. As I do more of these, I'm sure I'll get the hang of the guidelines and rules. Nothing like learning as you go!

The basics and the movesets look great; balanced and accurate. I've been making bootleg cards for over twenty years now, and I still have to check my work every once in a while to make sure they follow the guidlines as it concerns the choice moves.

Yeah, I mess them up sometimes too... not sure why the details are so hard to remember. If you look at the top of this thread, there's an index of current WWE guys... a bunch of us have been working on them on and off... feel free to check them out and make suggestions, and use it so you don't duplicate anything that was recently done

Hey Mark, It's good to know a veteran of making bootleg cards 20+ years still has to double-check his work here and there! I'm taking your advise to heart and will try to do my best reviewing the bootlegs with the guidelines and checklist before I post.

I saw the thread with the current 2011 WWE roster index, been working on wrestlers that have fallen from grace appearing on WWE Superstars to get my feet wet. Alicia Fox and Primo hopefully will be up to snuff with some tweaking. Mason Ryan and Kaitlyn are in the works, but finding move sets for these rookies is proving to be most perplexing! Also working on bootlegs for former WWE superstars Vladimir Kozlov and Chris Masters, they were both active during the month of August, the period of WWE Superstars I'm covering.

Funkasaurus should have a 5(2) pin, or better! ;D I was toying with making a version with some sort of mechanic to represent his gyration based defense...
