I recently finished a WWF 1987 set to go along with the 85 and 86 sets. A guy said he'd be doing art for them, but I'm not sure if it's going to happen. Eventually I'd like art for 86, 87, and the 88 set I'm working on. LWPD posted this on the other board - let me know what you think! Jon www.megaupload.com/?d=8WX1A1MP

Was looking through these the other night. The Demolition ones are really good and at first I didn't agree with +4 for the Decapitator for 87 Demos but it hit me that doing another card for them in 88/89 just to make the finisher +4 would be dumb. Really solid work on these, Knap.

Luv these old-school wrestlers! You can really see the time and effort that went into making them as legit as possible, appreciate the effort.

Sure, alot of them would be pretty similar, but some aren't... think it's worth it? Or maybe just a 'update sheet' that might change a move or two, or a pin rating, etc?

It really just seems like a lot of work for very little payoff. I update those that I feel are significant enough to worry about - for instance I updated Paul Roma and Randy Savage with the 87 set - but I would rather move on to other projects than spend time doing something I feel unnecessary.
The '88 roster I have in mind is tiny, so I may be doing some more updates to fill it out. Also, I want to do a Jack Tunney card, a referees card, etc.; but I feel I am not very good at these sort of cards. If there are any updates people think i should do for '88, I'm very open to suggestions.

Just a question, remember the 93/94 guys we made last year? Are those going to see release when you get to those years?

I still have notes and some files. Some of them may get released earlier depending on the year that guy started and if those stats still make sense in the year they get put out, know what I mean? The stats we did I thought were pretty good!

I thought we did pretty good with the guys we got done, as well.

Was the artwork Werner did for my Nightmares of the Mat set used for those demos cards?

CPB, I don't recall ever seeing those completed. I'm not sure they ever got to that stage. I believe the project stalled out.
