Anyone wonder why there's a lack of Chikara feds?

I used the cards to form my DGUSA fed with the other LOTF cards. I wanted to be different.

I don't see why the Chikara Feds aren't put in the LOW fed section.

It's a pretty small indy fed... and 1/2 the cards are people that already had cards... perhaps not that many people bought it?

Seems like there are about as many as there ever have been aCe or CPC/POW at any given time. I believe most people just absorbed them into their various Legends games. I see a lot of Chikara names popping up there.

Yeah. You figure most people are running LOW/LOTF or one of the two. The thought of throwing a completely new promotion in there is a lot to take on when you can just soak up the new names into an existing fed.

It also may be that a lot of people don't take the time to post their results. I think that a lot of people get in the habit of posting 1 or 2 feds, but some people run feds that never see the discussion board (I count myself in that category).

There are 14+ and counting Chikara feds on the Oboard and thats a good number, but I'm sure promoters post at their own pace. I know if I ever do get Chikara I would not mix the Chikara cards with the LoW/LotF cards and run a lone Chikara fed...

For some reason I enjoy singles matches a lot more than tag matches in LOW, and Chikara being basically a tag fed for the most part, and the cards seem to be weighted toward a stand alone fed is the reason I haven't gotten them. Maybe down the road I will change my mind, but there weren't enough "must have" guys in the Chikara set to make me want to shell out the money. Most of the guys that I like in the Chikara set already had LOTF cards.

You know, having played with the Chikara cards, they really aren't as good as the Rahl ratings show. Most of them are pretty weak defensively. I've mixed them in with my LOTF cards and the LOTF cards still hold their own really well.

Well after beign off for t wo months from running (near death experience with my cards had me put them aside for a while....near death was my cat for spilling a drink over them though I will say...its harder to ruin these cards than the old ones) but I finally ran a show. With the four pack out now and the five pack coming, I'm feeling the urge to do some more.

I also think you'll see a few more feds pop up once there's a larger assortment of cards out there.
