Maybe some of you who don't frequent the official boards haven't seen about this yet, but next Saturday at 7PM central EASTERN (nice catch, BDS) they're holding an official online tournament. "Virtual prizes" will be awarded and you can use any official online card from any edition of aCe, GWF, or Legends. Right now there are five more slots to fill to round out the 16 person tournament, so anyone interested who can be there from 7 to about 10 or so (if you advance) should think about signing up. Here's the link filsingergames.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=onlinemainevent&thread=8938&page=1#113579BDS has put a lot of time and effort into online lately and I want to see it get plenty of support. Plus, the more people playing online the better so I can get some quality opponents. PS: Someone go pick Kevin Steen so they can beat Rob (see my "Kill Steen Kill" post on the legendsonline section of the O board for the reason why)

Thanks, Mark! There has been a lot of work put into it lately, with more to come, and I'm glad that it's getting noticed.
A few more details about the tourney ... The virtual prizes for the winner will include a trophy to show off in your COTGonline trophy room, which doesn't exist yet but will very soon. You'll also get a unique version of the card you win with that will have a "foil" overlay on the front of it, like a chase card in a CCG. It's something that will show you off as a tourney winner in online matches and such.
And yes, anyone who picks "the chubby human" Kevin Steen gets Monolith in round one, guaranteed.

And as an important correction, it's 7PM Eastern, not Central.
