I recently purchased a ton of old WWF footage from the late 70's and early 80's so I'm going to redo a lot of the OSWG bootlegs and post them here your input is appreciated. I Should have the first one up tonight

Bobby Duncum | Height 6'4; Weight 280 lbs; Home Austin Texas | Level 1 Offense | Level 1 Defense | 1. Headlock Takedown - 1 2. Blatant Choke - 1 3. Eye Rake - 2 (pw) 4. Boot To Midsection - 2 5. Head To Turnbuckle - 2 (ag) 6. Forearm Blows - 2 (chB) | 1. BOBBY DUNCUM - 2 2. dazed - 1 (tag) 3. hurt - 2 4. BOBBY DUNCUM - 1 5. dazed - 1 6. dazed - 1 | Level 2 Offense | Level 2 Defense | 1. choke on ropes - 2 2. bodyslam - 2 3. cowboy stomps - 2 4. into the ropes (c) 5. kneedrop to throat - 3 6. neckbreaker - 3 | 1. hurt - 2 2. BOBBY DUNCUM - 1 3. dazed - 1 4. hurt - 2 5. BOBBY DUNCUM - 1 6. hurt -2 (tag) | Level 3 Offense | Level 3 Defense | 1. brainbuster - 3 (chG) 2. out of the ring (c) 3. out of the ring (c) 4. shoulder breaker - 3 5. SLEEPERHOLD (0) 6. BULLDOG (+1) | 1. hurt - 2 2. down - 3 (lv) 3. hurt - 2 4. PIN 6 (3) 5. hurt - 2 6. down - 3 | Ropes -- C Turnbuckle -- B Ring -- A Deathjump -- C Disqualification -- 6 | Agility -- + 2 Power -- - 1 Cage -- 2 |
I changed almost everything on offense except for the 2 finishers and pretty much left everything the same on defense except for replacing a down - 3 on level 2 offense with a hurt - 2. I also changed the agility from a + 3 to + 2. I'd just to say for the record that I'm not in any way trying to take away or criticize Frank Coutinho's work. He was a great guy to work with on the OSWG site and knows more about wrestling than anyone I have ever come across. I just wanted to take a crack at some of these bootlegs myself. Like I said before any input on these bootlegs is greatly appreciated

From a rules standpoint, the second out of the ring needs to drop the (c).

Johnny Rodz | Height 230lbs; Weight 5'8; Home New York | Level 1 Offense | Level 1 Defense | 1. grinding headlock - 1 2. test of strength - 1 (pw) 3. face rake - 2 4. armbreaker - 2 5. smash into ringpost - 2 (ag) 6. bodyslam - 2 | 1. hurt - 2 2. dazed - 1 (tag) 3. hurt - 2 4. JOHNNY RODZ - 2 5. hurt - 2 6. JOHNNY RODZ - 1 | Level 2 Offense | Level 2 Defense | 1. clothesline - 2 2. kneedrop - 2 3. into the turnbuckle (c) 4. repeated stomps - 2 5. standing legdrop - 2 6. Bronx Brawl - 3 | 1. down - 3 2. hurt - 2 3. hurt - 2 (tag) 4. JOHNNY RODZ - 1 5. hurt - 2 6. down - 3 | Level 3 Offense | Level 3 Defense | 1. Deathjump (c) 2. elbow smash off second rope - 2 3. out of the ring (c) 4. dropkick- 2 5. big right hand - 3 6. PILEDRIVER (0) | 1. down - 3 2. PIN 8 (5) 3. down - 3 (lv) 4. hurt - 2 5. hurt - 2 6. down - 3 | Ropes -- B Turnbuckle -- C Ring -- C Deathjump -- C Disqualification -- 5 | Agility -- +2 Power -- 0 Cage -- 6 |
Again with this card I changed very little on defense and redid most of the offense. Figuring out what Rodz's finisher was tough out of the 12 matches I watched he didn't win a single one or have a single pin attempt also I couldn't find a finisher listed for him on any website. I figured the piledriver was pretty close. Please let me know if you see any rule violations I'm sure I missed something

Funny thing about this set is. I actually had a pic in the works for Bobby Duncum Sr. And well this prompted me to finish it over lunch. So here is some artwork for him. Hope you enjoy? Bobby Duncum Sr.

For Rodz on lvl 3 offense, put the two 2 moves first and then the deathjump and out of the ring. One of the chart moves needs to drop the (c) and you dont have any choice (CH) moves. One of those would be Ch A for ropes.

Thanks that's great. I'm still unsure if I should make Duncum's sleeper hold a -3 instead of a finisher and I also should add another tag to level 3 defense. I'll make the changes to Rodz later on tonight

I love the old stuff.......Any chance of Victor Rivera and Manny Soto? They may be earlier 70's though...... Soto was a slightly enhanced jobber who was my hero growing up...of course my memories make him seem much better then i guess he actually was... Rivera had a very good career as a face w/Soto and later in LA, he was also a good heal as well.......I just cannot find enough on him to even attempt a bootleg..... I made a Soto out of whole cloth just for fun .... but i would love to see someone in the know attempt Rivera ....love DUNCUM......always underated when you think of the great heel cowboys

We already talked about doing a Rivera and Jose Lothario
