I decided to start a Chikara promotion this weekend so I ran a G-1 Climax style tournament for the tag belts. So here's the breakdown at the end of things:
Block A:
Incoherence 2-1 3 pts. Ares and Tim Donst 2-1 3 pts. The Colony 1-2 2 pts. The Throwbacks 1-2 2 pts.
Block B:
Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw 2-1 4 pts. Osirian Portal 2-1 4 pts. Young Bucks 2-1 4 pts. Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano 0-3
As you can see, Block B is a mess. Three teams are tied for first and they beat each other in a paper, rock, scissor way so tie breakers aren't easy. Any ideas on this one? I thought maybe trying a single round robin round between the teams or doing an elimination tag. Any other ideas?

I'd go with a three way elimination tag for a tiebreaker. The single round tournament could work, too.

I'm slightly afraid of the single round because I could end up with everyone at 1-1 and be in the same hole.
Stupid Young Bucks, they just had to beat the Osirian Portal and they were in no questions asked.

Then go with the elimination tag. No excuses then.

Is the Block A winner clear cut? If so you could allow all three Block B teams to advance to a standard four team tournament for the belts.

The tied teams had one beat the other.
I ended up doing a tie-breaker for them and then went with an elimination match.
Osirian Portal won and then went to the final and beat Ares and Tim Donst for the belts.
