The annual "this set does not interest me much, because ..." gives me plenty of reason to show little or no respect to those so called wrestling fans. I like this lineup a lot. Touches on all eras and Blassie and Tolos sold me.

L11 for me is golden and every card will be used at one point or another. I can see both Tolos brothers teaming with each other and feuding at one point. It's the creativity of having such a wide range of wrestlers that makes this game Fun and the fun in it is creating New memories with this game that never could happen in the Real World...

I just don't know what people expect. 1) You have to be able to sign them and 2) you gotta balance your set out

I like the set, though I'm almost wishing with the limit of 10 cards for Jimmy Hart to have been a SE card instead.

Yeah managers are nice but card spots are at a premium and just myself I'd take a wrestling card over a manager card any day. On the womens side, I don't know if anyone outside of Moolah would ever actually be included in a set at this point.

I'm generally on-board with preferring wrestlers as the cards in the set proper, but in fairness: a.) we're getting two LE women cards anyway, and b.) Jimmy Hart is about as big of a manager's signing as there is left to get. After this, the only really BIG '80s-'90s guys left to land would be Gary Hart and Paul E., but I can admit neither one is as well-known as Jimmy. I also don't know if Paul E. is even attainable.
Going back before that, even top managers like Bobby Davis and Saul Weingeroff are going to get the usual groaning from the usual suspects.

You could add Skandor Akbar to the manager list, but that's about it

This is semi-blasphemous but I never cared for Akbar. I never bought his "Arab with a Texas accent" act and he only became a TOP guy in Texas in the Embry Era which, while fun, was when the promotion was dying. If he (or his estate) signs, great, but there are 6 or 7 managers I'd prefer ahead of him.
Sheik Adnan al-Kaissie was higher on the card in the AWA and the WWF than Akbar was anywhere, AND he was legit. I'll take him over Ak any day.

Not sure how you'd do a card for a face manager but Arnold Skaland but be cool. He wrestled in the 1960's and managed Bruno, Backlund and Rick Mcgraw in the 70's and 80's. Speaking of managers I always liked the idea of having an Albano card when he was part of the Sicilians with Tony Altimore. Maybe some day who knows

Adnan Al Kassie would be cool because it would mean we might also see a Billy White Wolf card

Maybe some day who knows I would assume that Skaaland would just have wrestler stats. He climbed into the ring on occasion, right up until Backlund lost the title (literally--he was in a match on that same MSG card). Would be a good foil for Albano.

I'd have to check but I think Skaaland held the WWWF tag team title with Spiros Arion (?) in the 60's. This set hopefully will get us a Blassie manager card eventually. I think John Toolos was Curt Hennig's manager for a while. The coach or something like that.

Why do you want a Blassie manager card? If the card doesn't have a distractor rating then just give him one. Yes Tolos was the Coach with Mr. Perfect for a time.
