Why do you want a Blassie manager card? If the card doesn't have a distractor rating then just give him one. I'm on board with this, too. Blassie didn't really interfere much as a manager and he pretty much never took bumps. I can't think of anything that the Manager Interference Chart couldn't accomplish. As for a Distractor Rating...well, it's going to be a 5 or a 6. Do we really need a separate card to spell that out? Wanting to see more Blassie artwork is a far more justifiable reason for wanting a manager card. Blassie's managerial career overlapped with the Expansion Era so that's what most LOW gamers are going to associate him with, but he was far, far more accomplished as a wrestler than as a manager.

but he was far, far more accomplished as a wrestler than as a manager. And he was a far more accomplished novelty song singer than wrestler! The true King of Men!

Blassie was almost purely a mouthpiece. It wasn't unusual for him to lead his guy to the ring and then leave ringside for the match.

I agree and think most manager cards shouldn't be taking up space in a regular set. I think Blassie the manager would make a good promoter type card though. Another thing I like about it is that we'd have the big three (Blassie, Albano, and The Grand Wizard) in the game.

Well I'm not going to use him as a wrestler. But as long as he has a distractor rating, then I'll be fine. By definition, according to the offical rules, everyone has a distraction rating: the default for all non-managers and those without a printed rating is "5". As far as a manager card proper, I'm not sure what they could do with it. He interfered sparingly, although his cane did come into play in a few big matches. He was mainly just there to talk for his guys who couldn't hack it on their on the mic. I'm not against it somewhere down the line, though.

The character hasn't been in use for 28 years and he's used Beefcake and Venis

I wasn't sure. I'd only seen a clip from a Sheik vs Andre match and the tail end of his WWF career when we got USA on cable.
They were always portrayed as different characters correct?

I think the only difference is he went by Farouk in Big Time Wrestling and The Grand Wizard in the WWF. Here are two clips one from Big Time and one from The WWF. Not much difference

So didn't get my sets yet but I know who the 12th card is....and it makes lotsa sense with a couple other cards in the set.

Could the new match be rules for a Five Round System?
