Threadjacking back to the original topic, maybe the guy is somehow unaware of what Invader did... Well, I kind of don't like saying this, but... I'm not sure that anyone who has the original LOW set--ya know, the one that includes Jimmy Snuka--is really in a position to be throwing stones on this topic. I would never advocate an actual "official" Invader card as it would be monumentally disrespectful to the family of Bruiser Brody, but for a private bootleg, I truly don't find that much harm in asking. If you want to run an actual WWC circuit, then Invader I is kinda somebody you have to have.

So good to see you "back".
Now all we need is an Andre Davis (who went by Andre Heart) card and we'd be set!

I could see a lot of people using him as That 70s Guy whereas I'm the only person who would probably use him as ECW Mike Awesome. Here's another question related to Awesome: If he got a card (since we're talking hypothetical shit here), what are the chances the card would look like Knapik's bootleg of him stat wise? I think that card is basically perfect. While I haven't seen Knapik's bootleg, we'd make the ECW/Japanese version of Mike Awesome.

It is and it isn't. I have LOTF in my Chikara and they do well enough. The Chikara guys all tend to have weaker defenses. I'd agree. The Chikara guys are more in the style of the newer GWF guys with more down-3's on defense, etc. I wouldn't say that the cards aren't compatible, just that they are put together differently, kind of like GWF 2107 vs. GWF 2127 (and no Monolith types in Chikara). I've never liked doing a Legends card the way GWF cards are done. Meaning, there's a 1 pin so more downs on lvl 3, or also on lvl 2 defense. High pin, less downs, and the other things that are done in that fashion. The biggest reason I say the Chikara cards are a stand alone set is because the stats are done based on their position in Chikara. So that same guy would have a different looking card if done for LOTF, or even LOW. That doesn't totally make them uncompatible with Legends, but it is how they are done.

While I haven't seen Knapik's bootleg, we'd make the ECW/Japanese version of Mike Awesome. That's good to know. Now it just becomes one of those "Someday I'll see the announcement he's signed, but until then I've got the bootleg" situations.

The guy who posted the original post I have met. He does come across as a nice guy but a tad slower. (Not trying to be mean, but that was how he presented himself at NJCON and that maybe the nicest way I can say that).
I hope that his post was just being niave and I am willing to believe that it is.

Mike Awesome? I don't know about the odds, but I'd sure be happy with that card. Of course, I'd just use him as That 70s Guy and team him with Buzzkill Brad Armstrong...... I could see a lot of people using him as That 70s Guy whereas I'm the only person who would probably use him as ECW Mike Awesome. I was just joking, actually. -------Fat Chick Thriller was a better gimmick.
