Wanna know how Ox Baker is doing for others. In the years I have had the guy in my fed he just cannot come off as the major menacing heel I was looking for out of him. His only real success was putting Danny Doring out of wrestling in my North American feds. He had resurfaced in my Inoki run fed in Japan.
I even moved him from various federations hoping he would see some success but nothing. Recently he has a grand match with Andre and lasting a lot longer than I expected but I am really disappointed cause I want this guy to just destroy the competition. I am hoping when Legends of the Future comes out that maybe I can send him to my Indy fed and have him do some "educating" to the upandcomers.
Anyone else having good or bad results with The Ox?
One of my favourite heels for sure just wish he would do the same in the game.

A bust for me. While he beat up Doring and SD Jones. He is only .500 against Harker. So now I use him more as a heel to get the lower card faces over with.

He has been kind of a bust for me as well. He had a decent feud with Sandman when I first started my fed but since then he has done very little. I have some plans to try to make him seem more menacing. I am going to put him in the House of Humperdink.

I may have to go the same route with a Manager if he doesn't start picking up and dealing some damage.

nothing fantastic for me though early on he was actually in my top 5 heels. But as better guys came along, he's slid down quite a bit.

I feel with Baker he has to be an enforcer role. Make him Ted Dibiase's enforcer, have him destroy people after matches, backstage like Big Daddy Cool did when he was with Michaels

Ox Baker is a frustrating character (and not just in the game, but I digress). He is terribly inconsistent and will go against whichever way you book him. It's as if the card has a life of it's own. If he's booked as a midcard guy to build up someone else, odds are he'll hit the HEART PUNCH out of nowhere and score the win. Then if you decide to push him up the ladder based on that, if you give him a "get over" match he'll lose to someone like Koko B. Ware or SD Jones.
I've just sworn off using him in anything but mid-card matches that won't lead to any frustration.

Well Ox Baker will be making his debut in my Maple Leaf Developmental fed this weekend. So lets see what happens in this one. I hope to heck he doesn't choke on his debut.

Huge bust. I have tried him solo, in groups, you name it. Right now he's teaming with King Kong Bundy in a team that does not live up to its appearance.
