Really having trouble mustering any kinda of interest in WM this year. I'm not sure I'll even watch on the illegal stream.

I hear ya WF. If my friend orders it for his son and his friend, then I will go over and watch it. ( But most likely I will also tutor his son in math before hand as well, so I would already be there )

It doesn't help that the show is $70 in HD/$60 in SD (by the way, $60 in HD/$50 in SD is the price of the PPVs moving forward) and the card has had zero interesting build outside of Brock/Trips and Taker/Punk. I can't justify $70 for it.

This is kind of sad that we're a little over a week out from WrestleMania, this is the card....and I don't give a shit.

Holy shit! They want $50 for regular PPV now. That's insane when those shows are on DVD within a few months.

Yeah, fuck no on that. With Hulu, I could just time it and be behind a month and be ready for the PPVs as they come out.

I've contemplated ordering on the grounds I have friends who would pay to come over and see it but the last time I did that, the asshole who watched the show here didn't pay up. Not about to eat $70 when I could spend it on other shit.

Yeah but in the old days you needed at least 6 people to get a decent amount of the show paid for. Now you need like 12.

They were offering $10 each to come over and see the show. That's $40 off the show if they all actually pitched in.

Barring a Divas title match/YouTube clusterfuck, there's your final card.

Wow, that's sad. It'll be interesting to see the buy rates.
I think I'll be satisfied with following along on LoP.

They're probably gonna do 1.3 million this year, that's what everyone's projecting and it wouldn't shock me to see it happen. Rock/Cena and Brock/Hunter were (IIRC) the two biggest buyrates for WWE last year and they're on the same show here. Plus you add Punk vs. Taker, shitty as the build has been, that helps a bit. I'm not expecting even a good show out of this. Punk/Taker could be good, Brock/Hunter probably will be, no way Rock/Cena can work anything like they did last year which upon rewatch wasn't all that good to begin with.
My friends threw down, so I ordered. Probably gonna be the last WWE show I order given how ridiculously expensive shit is now plus the godawful, practically nonexistent build to most of the shit on this show.

I know that TNA talkes a lot of shit, but them scaling back the PPV schedule was a smart idea. If each PPV is an event, then you can make it feel like an event. I have always felt that WWE could run 6 solid PPVs a year with good solid builds and really help the product sell better. I also think 3 hour Raws every week is a bad idea, but that seems like it is staying too.

IC Title NOT defended on the PPV portion of the show this year. Not shocking.
