Nope, I like Hunter a lot actually. The match was fine until they overkilled with the Kimura (you can't work that multiple times like a pro wrestling submission, it doesn't work) and then the kimura had nothing to do at all with leading to the finish. I agree fully with that but everything leading up to that was great so that's why I can't see calling it an awful match.

Got to see the show at my friend's house. Not bad, but it didn't feel like anything special either. There is just too much filler (P-Diddy was the worst of it) bloating the show up. I get video recapping things to set up the angle, but commercials during the PPV? I liked that Living Colour did Punk's entrance, Also liked Cena and Rock showing respect at the end of their match.

Also liked Cena and Rock showing respect at the end of their match. I didn't. It just struck me as the WWE teasing a Cena heel turn to all those who want it so bad so they can just say "stick it, we're not turning him heel." I stood there watching the end going "OK, I'll watch just a little longer to see if Cena lays him out with the belt." They kept talking and talking. And then a handshake and yet another disappointment.

Someone sent this into Observer and they're right.
"It feels like Mania isn't for wrestling fans anymore, and that's a shame, because as much as I think WWE truly believes--and wants us to believe--that they are an integral piece of popular culture, engrained into the psyche of America, they aren't, and they never will be. Nobody watching the show, whether on PPV or live in the building, gave a rat's ass about Diddy performing. No disrespect towards him, but everyone watching was bitterly clinging to the idea that the time could have been better spent, and bragging over the fact that Snooki and Michael Strahan were in attendance at their biggest show of the year shows just how out of touch they are (again, no disrespect intended). What I'm trying to say is that the last few years, Mania has felt less and less like a wrestling show, and that's a dangerous reality, because it will NEVER be more than that despite those at the top's best efforts, and they risk alienating their audience if they fail to realize that. "
