First off, all of the new characters look fucking awesome this year. Top to bottom, everyone looks amazing this year.
Abroz, Zygon and Ensor all go Black Death. Mantis breaks the curse and becomes normal again.
Endgame makes his move and recruits Monolith and the Aethran Overmaster to assault the Black Death group head on. This was well done and it felt like Endgame finally stood up and made his impact on the GWF. It's also great to see everyone teaming up to take on the Black Death group.
I was kind of meh about the Three and I didn't like the whole interplay between them and Harbinger. Sure, he's a good guy now, that's kind of a bummer.
End of Days looks amazing as a character. He's mostly just a machine of devastation but his art looks cool and he's a real animal in the ring.
Black Death roster:
End of Days
Sur
Bex
Ghena
Balaal
Ensor
Zygon
Bishop Hell
Havoc
Coven Black
Oracle
Anivar
Betrayer
Alpha Female
Dark Menace
Rotunda
I'm not joking when I say this might be the best stable Tom has ever built. Just reading the book, you feel like the Black Death team is just an unstoppable force of nature. It feels like the nWo did in WCW.
The roster dumped a lot of dead weight too as Tristan, Retribution, Tanck, Symbiosis, Mother Superior, Malkuth and Shann-Ra all exit the scene.
Overall, I really like this set. The GWF really seems to have a direction again and I like this dominate force that every team has a beef with of some sort. I've had my ups and downs with the GWF since New Beginning but Black Death has probably been the best thing to happen to the game in a long long time.
