Really, Rock. You're back to the same tired ass, stupid promos you were doing in your year long lead up to your match with Cena. But yet the lemmings still eat your sorry ass shit up.
God, Punk's comeback was good.
EDIT - I used to love Rock but his promo's have become so played out.

At this point The Rock is the "sports entertainment" equivalent of Aerosmith or the Rolling Stones. He's just there to do the classics: cute promo, hit a Rock Bottom and People's Elbow, and be on his way.

He's just there to do the classics: cute promo, hit a Rock Bottom and People's Elbow, and be on his way. I agree for the most part. He needs to get his catchphrases in and all that. That doesn't bother me too much. All the greats have tired, played out catchphrases that people just eat up(Say your prayers..., if you can't beat the man..., you can't see me..). Rock does that but seems to want to show how cutting edge he is by just making stupid shit up. He did it against Cena and he did it against Punk. It made no sense. Cookie puss?? He did something similar to Cena but I can't remember what. It wasn't the fruity pebbles stuff. That was actually good and the only interesting thing to come out of Rock's mouth in years.

Shit. I see they're doing another Rock Concert. Didn't they learn from the last one. That was seriously the stupidest thing I've seen in wrestling in the last 10 years and we get it again??

It wasn't the stupidest thing in the past 10 years. Not even close. Yes, it was pretty close. Didn't think about other options for very long(apparently you didn't either) but I didn't come up with anything more stupid. Was originally typing last five years but nothing stupider came to mind so I stretched it to 10 years. Mae Young giving birth to Hornswaggle could qualify because its fresh in my mind but we weren't stuck watching it for 25 minutes.

Didn't think about other options for very long(apparently you didn't either) Actually I didn't have to think long, and here's what I came up with that were dumber than a segment that was actually entertaining: - The DX segment from RAW 1,000 - Any DX segment from 2006 to now, actually - Every promo leading into HHH/Taker at WrestleMania XXVIII - Bully Ray proposing to Brooke Hogan - The Aces and Eights angle as a whole - Mae Young giving birth to Hornswaggle - Anything AJ Lee has been involved with this year - Katie Vick (Little over ten years now but still) - Kane unmasking - Mysterio's first world title run - The Khali/Undertaker match from Judgment Day 2006 - NXT pre Full Sail - Double J, Double M A - Jarrett, Nash and Hall as the Kings of Wrestling - The whole Immortal angle - Ric Flair appearing on the Slammys - TNA's original Gut Check concept - Vince Russo on-screen in TNA - The Guardians of Truth - The Davey Richards/Kyle O'Reilly/Adam Cole/Eddie Edwards angle - Sheamus' first WWE Title reign - Anything they've done with Ted DiBiase since splitting up Legacy - Undertaker 'killing' Paul Bearer at Great American Bash 2004 - Edge 'killing' Paul Bearer on Smackdown in 2010 - Randy Orton 'killing' Paul Bearer last year - Michael Cole's heel character - Booker T as a commentator - Slam Master J - The 2012 Chris Jericho return - Sheamus beating Daniel Bryan in 18 seconds at WrestleMania This was after about a minute of thought. I could seriously keep going. All of that shit was dumber than the Rock concert last year.

That was hilarious. The only problem with that is that he stopped doing it so soon.

- Mae Young giving birth to Hornswaggle - Katie Vick (Little over ten years now but still) - Mysterio's first world title run The only ones close in my opinion. The Mae Young was up there in stupidity but it was over fairly quickly. The Rock Concert was Rock singin one stupid line, smirk like a jackass, repeat, for like 20 minutes. It was painful. I'd agree on Katie Vick. Almost stuck to 5 years because I didn't want to exclude it but like you said, it's over 10 years. The Mysterio title reign. Jeez that seems like so long ago, maybe I should've stuck to five years. Or was it actually less than that? I can't stand Rey and think ever putting the title on him is stupid in almost every way (other than catering to your Mexican audience because you have a tour of Mexico coming). A guy that weighs 120 should not EVER be World Heavyweight champion but if he is, you shouldn't have him losing every non-title match in squash matches.

The Rey title reign was in 2006.

The Rey title reign was in 2006. I guess I would've been safe with five years then. ;D

I wasn't against him getting the belt. Rey was over enough to warrant a title run.
I was against them riding Eddie Guerrero's dead corpse as if it was some kind of movie prop. And then I was against them jobbing him in every single match possible while he was champion.

Rey's title reign was the first indication that the WWE had completely given up on making the championship anything more than a shiny prop. Having the world champ get squashed in about a minute in a non-title match is not the way to make the belt mean something.

I think that was After the worst one... when Chris Jericho (as a face) beat HHH live on Raw for the title. started to celebrate, that Trips comes out and say 'no, that was a non-title match, give it back'.. and HE DOES.
I stopped watched for quite a while after that one.
