Because HHH is about to ruin Daniel Bryan like he did CM Punk.

Nah, according to Meltzer the plan was to lead up to Triple H screwing Vince and turning heel (which happened) and Vince turning face and supporting Bryan leading to another one of those "family feud" deals where Vince supports Bryan and Triple H supports Orton (remains to be seen). Cena is going to have to take some time out and I think they're dedicated to running with Bryan and Orton as the top guys going forward, at least for the time being. Hopefully Bryan can solidify his place to the point where they can't bump him back down when Cena comes back.

He ruined Punk? Funny, I recall Punk getting a 400+ day title reign RIGHT AFTER that feud with Hunter.

Okay, ruin is a strong word. Severely damage the momentum of.
MT, I want to believe you on that but past history suggests that he's jobbing to HHH in the near future.

And it won't matter because as we've seen with Punk in the long run, it didn't effect him at all.

Didn't watch the show but from reading it, two great matches and a very solid one between ADR and Christian make me feel like I need to check it out.
That said, I have no problem reading that Orton cashed in after HHH screwed over Bryan. I haven't been following Raw in a while, but it was something that I felt I and everyone else should have seen coming as soon as HHH was the special guest referee. But it's fine because I heard Bryan literally and metaphorically beat the shit out of Cena and pinned him clean. Anything that happened afterwards doesn't matter. In fact, it allows us to believe Bryan has a chance to get back to the top with Cena out, but he is back in the position of chasing Orton for the belt.
Hell, part of me even wishes that Batista comes back for an Evolution reunion while Bryan and Punk or someone else feuding with Triple H's group.

They didn't necessarily "ruin" or derail Punk a few years back. As noted, Punk's long and meaningful title reign and everything after has proven that. What they DID is take a new, innovative, and edgy story and water it down to ho-hum WWE lite fare. This recent development was actually much better for Bryan than it could have been. The worst case scenario after the win would have been him turning around into the RKO for the quick loss. At least there was a great level of screwiness at the end with him taking the Pedigree first. Any time someone ends up working with Triple H you know they're going to be the main focus of the show, so even though it's not what a lot of people WANTED I think it's a very good thing for Bryan going forward.

The problem though is HHH isn't like Vince McMahon. He won't let Bryan just destroy him in a match and move on to Orton. He has to either win or if he loses he has to get a win in there somewhere because god forbid HHH not be protected at any moment in time. From what reports say, the crowd didn't respond much to the Evolution 2.0 forming. But that's kind of how all of the HHH stuff goes. He never gets the kind of reaction that he should.

I don't think they'll do a match with those two. I believe Triple H is happy to take the corporate role here. I know past history has shown the opposite, but I am optimistic this time that he knows what is best for the success of the company. I think the focus goes squarely on Orton and Bryan from this point forward, with maybe another element thrown into the mix somewhere down the line.
Either way, this one move does not diminish Bryan at all, in my opinion. What happens in the coming weeks will tell how dedicated they are to him, though. With Cena gone probably the rest of the year they've got to go "all in" or it's going be to be a rough back half of 2013 for WWE.
