So how is this guy doing for folks? I swear he has been sneaking wins by the skin of his teeth. With Jimmy Hart at his side he has a horseshoe up his arse. I had a card recently where he put his title on the line against Frank Gotch and the guy never ceases to amaze me when he just misses losing. The Mountie is closing in a 2 year reign as champion. The dice are just too kind to him.

I haven't used him lately, but when I do he's about 60/40 wins to losses against mid-card opponents. Jimmy Hart would be a great asset to him though, so I can see him getting some bigger wins with Jimmy in his corner.

He had a 7 month reign as the NWA World Television Champion last year. That included defenses against Jimmy Valiant, Ted Dibiase, Bill Dundee and other guys I can't remember. That was his hottest stretch for me. Otherwise, it's about 60/40 like MT said.

Since Jimmy has been in his corner he has become more devious. Pinning him clean is a tough go as he usually gets disqualified or gets away with using Jimmy Hart's talents to the best of his ability. It will be interesting to see who takes him down. Also since he is the leader of a stable I find I have him being more protected by his fellow stablemates more often as well. I love using him as the loud obnoxious champion who screams on high of how amazing he is and will take on all challengers but then will do anything in his power to not fight them head on.

He is my North American champion, beating DDP for the title and again in his first defense. I also have Jimmy Hart helping him out.

Jimmy makes quite the difference. And everyone he manages right now is better for it with him in their corner. I was waiting for Frank Gotch to take the title and The Mountie lucked out. Not sure if I should do a return bout or let the next contender step forward? Gotch is in a crossroads for me at the moment given he has his sights set on the British Empire title currently held by Lou Thez. But he could also go for the Canadian Heavyweight title held currently by The Mountie. During the bout I wasn't getting any vibes that this would be a cool story to tell. Felt more like a one off. I find I need to have someone rather special to pull off a decent series of matches with The Mountie. Not just dice wise but also the ebb and flow of the matches and could I see a decent feud or rivalry here.

I have plans for the Mountie in my FUSE Promotion and I'm pulling for success for him...
