I think the Wiggy card is incomplete what it really needs is something like Wiggy pauses in the middle of the interview and says um um roll again until you get a differen result

I think the Wiggy card is incomplete what it really needs is something like Wiggy pauses in the middle of the interview and says um um roll again until you get a differen result LOL. I don't know if I'd go that far but I would say you shouldn't be able to even read the back of her card because the 'sound quality' is so bad you can't make out what she is saying. Seriously, I produce podcasts for a living for major entertainment companies and I would be in horrendously embarrassed if I put out anything that sounded like The View sounds. Heck, I wouldn't be embarrassed, I'd be fired. Blogtalkradio is the worst and it should be avoided at all costs. Not to mention if you produce podcasts through them, they own it. Completely. You don't. But anyway, to get back on topic, I don't have the set but I won't be using the Wiggy card. I'll be using it as a Nitro talk show because it just makes more sense, especially after the 2129 handbook.

This is just me:
I love the game and the stuff Tom produces and will keep buying, but not every one or product is perfect (let's be honest).
I'd love to hear a "game fan" do the podcast (and not a suck up type) that knows the game and can get a lot out of him and ask an occasional tough question (like the repetitive outside force trying to take over the galaxy and it has to be settled in a GWF ring. Or how you decide an artist and when you cut him loose or podcast dedicated to game years or sets. How Sudden Death came about, the inspiration of why Sam turning on Omega, alternate storylines if a Sudden Death result was different. Stuff like that.
And no more Volkoff. That was just brutal

That was just brutal Mark Ashby would be the perfect.....oh. Right. And as for any of the guests I usually don't listen that far because the sound is so bad. And I turned it off even quicker when Kolbald was in in character. Not the right audio fidelity to do a funny voice.

Yeah, that Kolbald thing should have been short and not dragged on Be thankful you missed Volkoff. It was "FUCKING TALK MAN"

Blogtalkradio is the worst and it should be avoided at all costs. Not to mention if you produce podcasts through them, they own it. Completely. You don't. I can't figure out why anyone still uses blogtalk radio. They're so bad I won't even capitalize the name. I have enjoyed the content of several of the Filsinger Games podcasts, but the sound quality is---well, it's typical blogtalk. It could be worse: If you've ever listened to the Bret Easton Ellis podcast on podcastone, it's a double whammy of bad sound quality and he is boring as crap (to me), proving that really talented and creative people do not automatically make good podcast hosts. On topic, I probably won't use the card in the GWF right away because of my current format, but I'll use it somewhere at some point I'm sure.

I have to say I've never listened to a podcast in my life, nor do I really ever plan to, but I can't really see Tom agreeing to do something that was 100% over the top positive. Think about how the board is run. Also, I'd love to hear Mark Ashby's story to... I have my own ideas, certainly but they're all conjecture

They really need to get on a different network. The sound quality is just awful.

Also annoys the heck out of me that you can't move anywhere into the podcast so if you have to stop listening then you have to listen to it all over.
And Volkoff...yeah that was definitely brutal. Nikolai seemed so bored.

I don't think Volkoff could hear them.
The thing with podcasts I'd there are some really amateur hour shows that sound pretty good. It's really cheap and easy to have good sound quality. They'll never get a stable audience with what they're doing.
I'd also consider dropping Wiggy. She just has no chemistry and Tom has really started doing her job as he's become more comfortable with it.

My thoughts on the podcast aside, to me this is taking a slight "pick on the girl" vibe. Wiggy seems okay from what I've heard of her, and she was willing to volunteer to make the Filsinger podcast happen. She got a card that we can all use or not as the case may be. Some people will love it, I'm sure (Although those people clearly do not visit this forum). There are five other cards to talk about in this six pack. I haven't had a chance to use any of them yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the new Plethador card does as soon as I can find a good time and way to reintroduce him to the GWF.

I'm fine with her getting a card actually. I said from the start, I thought he said Wiggly of SWF and Chikara fame. So Wiggy was just a disappointment. I just think they lack chemistry and doesn't add a ton to the podcast.

The only time I listened to one of the podcasts I thought she said "Um" a few hundred times too many.
