maddog pulling Stan Stasiak out of nowhere! I've seen pictures of Stasiak, I've probably seen a match clip or two on youtube or something, but I have no frame of reference for Stan Stasiak because that's way before my time. What I DO know about him is that he was a transitional champion, never meant to be the long term top guy. In that regard I am hard pressed to find a WWF/E champion as seemingly bad as Orton. Miz may be tied with him, but Miz was just annoying to me; Orton makes me twice as likely NOT to watch their shows. What makes Orton worse to me is the WWE insistence that he is a "top guy" and should be treated like a big deal when looking at it objectively there are probably far more negatives about him in that role than positives (subjectively and in an opinionated way I can't think of any positives). I saw a lot of him when I had 24/7 and on Youtube. He's pretty meh overall. He does everything you would want a mid tier heel of that era to do. |

And to go further with MT. I think the ratings for his last couple of reigns have shown that people don't like him very much. Even Bill Simmons trashed him on his podcast after he unified the belts. I think his current reign has tanked the ratings a bit but they've been blaming everyone but him.

BTW, I knew of a few people at work that trained and still help at OVW and they all said Orton was an entitled ass (as was Batista). (On the other hand, said Cena and Rico were complete opposite and made it a point to work hard)
BTW, hoping to get dinner with Kenny Bolin after the holidays, so maybe he'll spill some scoop

I've honestly never heard a bad thing about John Cena on a personal level. Cheating on his wife with multiple divas and then doing his damnedest to get those girls fired (and succeeding), getting Serena Deeb fired for partying as a fuck you to one of the divas he cheated on his wife with, going to Vince and having Alex Riley's push completely killed because Riley refused to take his shit, there's quite a bit out there on him. But wait, he does the Make-A-Wish stuff! Clearly that absolves him of being a complete dickhead. |
