this got Ryback to come back to twitter. Inspired by the situation this is his first tweet in months: "Ryan Reeves @ryback22 38m I call dibs on GTS, Pepsi Plunge and running knee in corner. I am sure Sheamus will take the rest." So there is an upside...of sorts. When asked in a follow-up "What? No Anaconda Vise? ??” He replies, "That is too complicated..." So CM Punk lost his smile and Ryback found it, I guess.

A running knee in the corner is too complicated for Ryback.
I think there's a solid chance that Punk will be back for Mania. This could just be a play for time off.

I honestly don't care if he comes back.

It's not like I watch the product. I have a hard time with Punk. I think he really grew into being a legit world class wrestler the last couple of years but he just seems like such a dick whenever you hear about him outside the ring.

I don't think he's an elite level worker. He's still incredibly sloppy and his matches are (to a degree) pretty poorly constructed.

There's an issue hidden under all this though. No one knows how their pay structure is going to work with the WWE Network and Vince isn't telling anyone.

The Bullet Club are actively lobbying Punk to join them in New Japan over Twitter.

I don't think he's an elite level worker. He's still incredibly sloppy and his matches are (to a degree) pretty poorly constructed. He has his moments still. But I always thought he was incredibly overrated in his RoH days and I think he's actually developed into being worthy of the praise he was getting. Thinks those Joe/Punk matches were total Joe carry jobs...

I don't think he developed into being (as I've seen him called) the best wrestler in the world bar none. He wasn't even close in 2013, or 2012, or 2011, or 2010...

Oh hell no one that. I don't even think he's top 5 in the WWE currently.

He's probably top 10 but the top 5 (to me) would be: Daniel Bryan Brock Lesnar Roman Reigns Seth Rollins Dean Ambrose
And then there's the guys like Goldust, Cesaro and Cody Rhodes that I'd put in front of Punk. If we're counting NXT, then you can add in Neville and Sami Zayn to firmly push Punk out of the top 10 for me.

People would disagree with me but I think John Cena is slightly better than Punk.
I'm thinking my list would be:
1. Daniel Bryan 2. Antonio Cesaro 3. Brock Lesnar 4. Dean Ambrose 5. Cody Rhodes 6. Seth Rollins 7. John Cena 8. CM Punk 9. Goldust 10. no clue

I think he's probably top 35 in the world and would fall somewhere in that 28-33 range depending on my mood at any give moment. I would consider that as being world class.
Even falling out of the top 10 in the WWE isn't really a big deal. They are stacked with some awesome workers right now.

"working so low on the Mania card" YOU'RE IN A FUCKING FEATURED MATCH WITH TRIPLE H. The thing is, though, that's, at best, 3rd from the top, under the title match and the Undertaker match...debatably below Lesnar-whoever and Bryan-whoever, depending on the card and the build up. Hell, I could see it opening...
