There's the big matches for the show. Nakamura/Fale main events, making this the fourth major show (Wrestle Kingdom, New Beginning: Hiroshima, Invasion Attack, Dominion) the Intercontinental Championship has headlined. Also, AJ not defending the title makes me think we're not getting an IWGP Title defense until the September PPV at Convex Okayama because there's no fucking way AJ's defending the belt in the G1.

Ricochet won BOSJ so he's getting the next shot at Ibushi. Sakuraba and Minoru Suzuki seem to be headed towards a feud (good shit) and Nagata vs. Shibata seems like something that might get booked for this (very good shit).

So I guess they're saving Suzuki/Sakuraba for the Korakuen show on 6/29 or for some point in the G1. Nagata and Honma vs. Shibata and Goto should be great.

In all seriousness... What makes these tag matches "Special"?

The AJ/Okada tag because it's likely the lead in to the Yujiro/Ishii NEVER title match the following week. Yano/Saku vs. Iizuka/Suzuki because it's likely the lead in to Yano/Iizuka and Suzuki/Sakuraba. Probably the same with Goto/Shibata vs. Honma/Nagata, though I'm less sure of how those particular four break down into singles matches.

I have no idea why they call them 'Special Tag Matches'. That used to be reserved for like, huge matches. Now they use that and 'Special Single Match' for every match on the card that doesn't have a title attached to it.
