Damn, if that shirt was there yesterday, I missed it. I'll have to grab it. Here is a pic of the shirt I grabbed. btw I forgot to mention that Oleg is awesome. For some reason I thought he was another small guy, but he's really big and tall, similar to Brodie Lee. He's pretty decent in the ring too. Between him, DC, Tursas and Nokken, CHIKARA has a strong corps of big men right now.

Banedator show size? there were 4 or 5 rows on each side of the ring about 20 seats long each. Not too many standing, about 20 or less. So about 400-500 I guess. It looked and felt like most Chikara shows I have been to. About the same size as the Philly shows I've been to.

Between him, DC, Tursas and Nokken, CHIKARA has a strong corps of big men right now. That Beavis and Butthead inspired Batiri shirt was sold out after the first show in Chicago. I would have gotten one, too. Those guys were real happy with their merch sales by the end of the day in Chicago, what with the day and evening shows and the extra event in between them. Chikara fans support the wrestlers by buying lots of merch, that's for sure. I was also noticing that Chikara may have the most big wrestlers right now of any of the more well known independent groups. That's the kind of variety they, and indie wrestling in general, needed. It will be interesting to see how this thing with The Flood develops over the year and stands out from the other "invasion" angles. If you think about it, the way Chikara is structured and has the factions and big angles like that it is the closest thing to COTG and the GWF out there by far. The similarities are really striking.

Good sale but I went for BOLA 2013 and Sold Our Soul for Rock 'n Roll on PWG's site. There were a few AIW DVDs I wanted in that sale, though.
