Ring of Honor iPPV: 6/27/2014
live from Indianapolis, IN
Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly come down to the ring during the dark match portion of the show. Fish gets on the mic and wants to know why they were fined for refusing to shake Edwards and Richards hands at the tv taping but Richards doesn't get any sort of fine for choking out O'Reilly after a match. O'Reilly gets on the mic and says that they aren't leaving this ring until they get some answers. The Northstar Express come out for their match with the Tribe and want reDRagon to leave the ring but Fish and O'Reilly attack them. They hit suplexes on Cruz and Corbin and then toss them out of the ring. The Tribe come out next and they demand to know why reDRagon just messed with their match. Fish and O'Reilly go for the attack again but this time the Tribe fights back. A referee comes out and starts up a match just as the iPPV is starting.
the Tribe d. reDRagon by DQ
The Tribe hit the Reservation Devastation on Bobby Fish so O'Reilly pulled the referee out of the ring and punched him right in the face. Both teams continued brawling until the referee recovered and called for the DQ. The Tribe and reDRagon continued to brawl until security came out and broke things up.
Mike Bennett d. ACH w/ the Box Office Smash Ricochet and TJ Perkins d. Biff Busick and Matt Taven w/ the 630 Senton
Ricochet and TJP were celebrating in the ring when Rhino attacked. He surprised TJP with the GORE! and then started pummeling Ricochet in the corner. Suddenly, Rich Swann came out of the crowd. He climbed in the ring and taunted Rhino into a charge. Swann ducked the clothesline and caught Rhino with a kick to the head. Swann then dumped Rhino out of the ring and hit a big dive on him out of the ring. The crowd started chanting Rich Swann's name.
AJ Styles and El Generico d. BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs w/ the Phenomenal DDT
The Briscoe Brothers are backstage. They proved that they are the true #1 seed during the Round Robin Challenge. There aren't any teams out there that are going to be able to stand between them and the RoH Tag Team Titles. That's a promise that you can take to the bank.
Main Event: Open the Freedom Gate Title Match: Johnny Gargano (c) d. Rhett Titus w/ the Gargano Escape

Video News Wire: 7/1/2014
Rich Swann, Ricochet and TJ Perkins are backstage.
Swann: Last week, my good buddy Ricochet gave me a call and told me that he might need some backup in Indianapolis. I gladly agreed to help and when I got there, who did I see but the Rhino. The man that ruled ECW, WWE and TNA rings for almost a decade. The man that Paul Heyman dubbed the Man-Beast. I soundly put my boot right upside your head Rhino and then I put you on your ass outside of the ring. You see, we're not afraid of you or the House of Truth Rhino. Ricochet and I... we're blood brothers. We've traveled the roads of the United States together, we've explored Japan together. Our bond has been forged by years of coming up the ranks together. What do you have around you Rhino? A bunch of hired guns that are just here for a paycheck. You might want to think about that before you take things any further.
Ricochet: And not to change the subject but Johnny Gargano, that's my belt you're holding right now. So name a time and a place and let's take care of some business.
Rich Swann, Ricochet and TJ Perkins walk off the screen.
Austin Aries is backstage.
Aries: I wanted to talk about my Ring of Honor career a little bit today. Do you realize that I'm the man that ended Samoa Joe's 645 day reign as the World Champion? Do you realize that I'm the only 2x Ring of Honor World Champion in the companies entire 12 year history? Do you also realize that only Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness have held the Ring of Honor World Title for more days than I have? By my count that makes me a top 5 all time performer in the 12 year history of Ring of Honor. I don't see how you can argue otherwise when looking at those credentials. I'm not even bringing up my TNA Triple Crown status for this argument. But my point is, look at those credentials and then tell me why I don't have a spot in the Ring of Honor World Title Tournament. Jushin Liger has wrestled less than 10 matches for Ring of Honor and he's got an invite. It's a slap in the face to have such a highly decorated company veteran like me on the outside looking in for that tournament. This isn't over, my presence will be felt one way or another...
Austin Aries pushes the camera and walks away.

RoH Video News Wire: 7/2/2014
Kevin Steen is in a booth at his favorite local pizza shop.
Steen: I've kept pretty quiet about this World Title tournament. I've seen a lot of guys running their mouths about how they're going to do this and that in the tournament. Well, I'm not impressed. How many of those guys have been the man everywhere they've gone. Not many that I can see. On July 4th it's just a no brainer. Kevin Steen is going to be your next RoH World Champion.
Steen takes a big bite out of a slice of pizza as the promo fades to black.
The scene shifts to Jushin Liger arriving at the airport in the United States. He walks out with his bags and gets into a taxi cab. It's noted that he'll be facing Tommaso Ciampa in the first round of the tournament.

Mike Bennett vs. Tomasso Ciampa were the 2 finalists in my ROH TV Title tournament too, and the two have not stopped feuding since. Ciampa won the belt, then lost it to Bennett, then regained it in a 2/3 falls cage match that was supposed to be their big blow off match, but they've since found themselves at each others throats in tournaments and rumbles as the year went on. They just seem to always have amazing battles so the feud hasn't got old. I've now got them booked in my 1st Ladder War, to hopefully settle things once and for all.
I like how you are using Jigsaw in your fed. Might do the same.

Jigsaw and Bennett had an epic back and forth match. Bennett barely won that match in the semi-finals. The rematch was a little quicker but still a good one.
I'm not sure where to go with Ciampa moving forward right now. I'm thinking maybe Bennett defending the TV Title against Jigsaw and Ciampa at Glory By Honor.

Ciampa kinda got lost in the shuffle for me too when he lost the TV Title to Michael Elgin in his first defense. Probably why he circled back to Bennett so quickly. I'm thinking about Adam Cole starting a 4 Horsemen stable w ReDRagon, and might put the winner of this ladder war with them as their 4th, while the other guy will be shelved w injuries for a long time. I think either Bennett or Ciampa work well in that fold, and can see Cole recruiting the winner to his new stable of Horsemen. For Ciampa, that would mean a big heel turn. I also like the idea of Bennett being the guy, then Ciampa feuding with Cole and the Horsemen as a face. He's a pretty versatile character that you could do almost anything with and it could work.

I like Cole and reDRagon together. You could being an outsider like Tim Donst in as the final guy too, he would be a great fit.

Ring of Honor News Wire: 7/12/2014
Ring of Honor is proud to announce that Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian have signed contracts with the company. Both men have stated they are looking to continue the tag team Bad Influence. Daniels is an accomplished tag team star and is a former 6x NWA World Tag Team Champion, 2x TNA Tag Team Champion, 1x IWGP Junior Tag Team Champion, 2x RoH Tag Team Champion and a 1x WWC Tag Team Champion. Bad Influence were voted Tag Team of the Year in 2012. They are expected to make an immediate impact in the RoH Tag Team ranks and some are speculating that they could capture the tag titles by the end of the year.
Ring of Honor is coming to Chicago, IL on Friday and Bad Influence will be making their debut. They've drawn tough opponents out of the gate as they'll be taking on Caprice Coleman an Cedric Alexander the C&C Wrestle Factory. Will Bad Influence live up to the hype or will C&C Wrestle Factory spend Bad Influence packing?
RoH World Tag Team Champions the Young Bucks will be putting the titles on the line against the team of PPRay. The Bucks shocked the world when they won the belts on the 5th of July. Will PPRay make this a short reign for the champs or will the Bucks prove that they are in it for the long haul as champions?
Hometown hero Colt Cabana will be in action against House of Truth member Mike Mondo. Colt's promised his hometown fans a big show as always but Mike Mondo is looking to spoil the Cabana homecoming.
Tommasso Ciampa and Jigsaw have one thing in common. They've both been unsuccessful at beating Mike Bennett for the RoH Television Championship. This contenders match will sort out who should be getting the next shot at Bennett's Television Championship. Ciampa came so close to RoH gold twice in the span of three days and came up short both times and Jigsaw pushed the champ to the absolute limit. Who will get a chance at redemption?
Michael Elgin will be in action against Delirious. It's the strong man vs. the wild man. Who will come out on top here?
Jay Lethal and Adam Cole will square off in singles action. Both men have had a quiet feud over the past several weeks. This one is about bragging rights and moving up the contenders list. Who will come out on top?

Steve Corino exited the ringside area and was confronted by an interviewer backstage. Corino said the fans cheered when Ultramantis Black cost him his job as an announcer. Ring of Honor Video News Wire:
Roderick Strong, Adam Pearce, BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs are standing in the locker room.
Strong: The list of targets for the Decade is ever growing so I decided to call in an old friend. The first name that popped into my head was Adam Pearce. I know everyone is asking themselves how that works. Didn't Adam Pearce leave Ring of Honor like all those guys you're after right now? No, he did not. Adam Pearce was fired from Ring of Honor against his will. His heart has been with Ring of Honor since he first joined. Now, he's back and AJ Styles is going to be his primary target.
Pearce: Get that camera a little closer on me there. AJ Styles, I know you think you're pretty hot stuff. A big national tv star for all of those years and the toast of New Japan Pro Wrestling right now. But you're looking at a 5x NWA World Heavyweight Champion right here. I've been kicking around this sport just as long as you and I've wrestled all the same guys that you have. I'm not going to be intimidated or star struck because I'm getting in the ring with AJ Styles. I signed on with the Decade because all of these guys thought Ring of Honor was beneath them when the big paydays were offered. I've looked over Roderick's list and I plan to take out each and every one of you.
