I got on a kick with these last week and I decided to make a thread. I talked about Cornette previously. I also watched the JJ Dillon Guest Booker. I really liked when they were talking about how the WWF did television and how McMahon used it to build his PPV matches. I also listened to Heyman on Austin's podcast and didn't believe for a second that distribution was ECW's problem. Overall, he was really fun but he was BSing pretty hard at times.

I love how Heyman can be so completely full of shit but you kind of just let it slide until you listen to it back. Think about this: he said he was going to go onto Hot 95.7 or whatever and host a hip hop show to go against Howard Stern. Just think about the fucking absurdity of that statement.

I think he was going to be a talk show like Stern is what he was saying.
Have you watched many of the Guest Bookers? I got a bunch of those. I also got some Crockett memories with Jim Cornette that I'm looking forward to.

I have the Guest Booker with Gary Hart. It's pretty awesome. I've seen the ones with Corny, Raven (ugh), Al Snow, Dutch and I've seen some of the Kevin Sullivan one.

I saw a preview of the one with Mike Graham. Fuck that guy.
I'm excited to see the Gary Hart and Jerry Jarrett ones just to see their brains picked as bookers.
The best shoots I've ever seen are the Raven and Honky Tonk Man shoot, Cornette and Pringle and the Cornette/Watts series. Hearing Watts just pontificate on wrestling is like hearing a fucking genius explain some complex science.

Also, I think I would lose respect for Heyman if he wasn't always in slimeball carny mode at all times. I mean, he has to be the biggest carny of the last 25 years in wrestling.

I also caught a clip of the Fantastics talking about Kevin Von Erich killing a cat. Ewww...

I got this Crockett History DVD with Jim Cornette. There's like a series of these with I think Magnum TA, the R'N'R Express and someone else that I can't remember. I'm about 20 minutes into this one. Cornette should really stick to this kind of stuff as it's nice to see him happy and having fun talking about something he's passionate about. I'll give a final review of this but if you're into Crockett history it's interesting. My biggest complaint is you can't fucking hear the guy asking questions... at all! What the fuck, this shit isn't hard.
