I'm real interested in the follow-up to this. By all accounts he's not a real bad guy, not the kind to get into needless altercations. It must have been WHO he got into it with. I know he's been frustrated and was talking about leaving some time ago, so maybe it all boiled over and it just took one bad day.
If he has truly been fired the the WWE's loss is AAA USA's gain.

I don't think it was a who type of situation. I just think the WWE is desperate to cut costs anyway they can so any sort of fuck up is going to get you fired unless you're one of HHH's butt buddies.

The rumor I read is that Kevin Dunn got in his face after a match and ADR slapped the taste out of his mouth.

Other rumor is he got into it with a social media department guy. Whew glad I didn't take that job. I went through two rounds of interviews for a social media job with the 'E in 2011. Had to withdraw because I got a web series that paid more. Of course if I had taken it, I'm sure I would have been slapped much sooner. |

Too bad. I liked Alberto Del Rio and he, like others of a certain group have been pretty much done away with. Remember seeing him at a house show when he was feuding with Sheamus for the belt and man was a fantastic match! The guy is uber talented. So whomever did whatever they probably deserved it. I really hope it was Kevin Dunn or HHH. I would agree Orton gets away with EVERYTHING. Orton's recent thing was bullying some fan and calling her Miss Piggy on his twitter account with accompanying picture. This after showing his mug on those "Don't be a Bully. Be a STAR!" ads.
Fuck Orton is worn out his welcome. The guy just sucks on so many levels.

Not really, but from what I understand you'd have been treated about as good as a non-union worker on a Hollywood set. If it was Dunn he slapped, Alberto will be the hero of wrestling. That guy seems like a sycophantic sleaze bag from most accounts. The story Meltzer reports is that it was a .com ,reporter, but either way the WWE's loss is AAA USA's gain. |

If this is the case someone should really challenge that because to me fired means "we are no longer doing business so there is no longer a contract". Independent contractors, right? |

It'd be awesome if they put him under a mask and tried to claim he was someone else.
Or put someone else under a mask to set him up for when the non-compete is over.
