This is one of the worst street fights ever. The ending sees Harlem heat beat Knobbs backstage a half a minute or so before the animals beat Morris in the ring. Page and Kimberly out to cut a promo in Flair for their strap match tonight.

Perry Saturn vs Eddie Guerrero is next. There's too much going on here from a storyline point of view. The Revolution and the Filthy Animals are both barred from ringside... But Revolution seemingly broke up earlier in the show (or at least split in half) and Eddie is wearing the gold watch he stole from Flair... But Flair is taking on DDP... Anyway, this should still be an awesome match.

Flair comes out and attacks Eddie with a crowbar (which is clearly one of those rubber ones and is flopping in Flair's hands), causing a DQ. Before that, Eddie and Saturn have a pretty good 10 minute match. The pace is a little off, but it's a solid outing.

Buff promo turns into Buff/Jarrett brawl. Luger comes out to help buff, but accidentally hits Buff with the accustic equalizer.

Brad Armstrong? Isn't he known as the man of a thousand gimmicks?

Berlyn should have worked. Wright had a ton of talent... The look was unique... The Wall may have sucked in the ring, but was perfect as a bodyguard... The whole refusing to speak English bit was edgy. It should have worked and Berlyn should have been a United States Champion. Instead, he loses to Brad Armstrong in less then five minutes.

Brad Armstrong? Isn't he known as the man of a thousand gimmicks? Yup. This was post Armstrong Curse, pre Buzzkill, just plain Brad version.

Next up is Chris Benoit out to defend the Televison title against Rick Steiner. Remember what I mentioned earlier about The Revolution seemingly having split up earlier in the night? Golly, I wonder if that will come up durring this one?

Steiner looks either drunk or sleepy. I can't tell which.

Ugly, ugly match. Benoit works from underneath, Steiner uses a heavy power offense, including repeated German Suplexes. The pace is plodding, cause Steiner is gased early. There's a referee bump, a badly Don spot where Steiner counters the diving headbutt with a chair, and then Malenko is out. Hey, that's Benoit's best friend who quit the Revolution with him earlier tonight! He must surly be there to help Benoit, right? OH MY GOD! MALENKO TURNED ON BENOIT! RUSSO SWERVE! Ugh.

Lex Luger vs Bret Hart is next! You know what that means!

TTP move count: slap, punch, eye rake, falling forearm, hip toss, kick, single leg take down, half Boston crab
This is your WrestleMania X main event! This is also durring the time Luger was refered to only as "The Total Package" and was managed by Elizabeth. Between this pairing and Benoit in the previous match, this is the most uncomfortable chunk of Havoc. Bret sells a leg injury by limping all the way down to the ring, like almost comically so... Then forget about it for the majority of the match. Even Bret had given up by now. TTP beats Bret Hart by submission. Not with the rack. But with a half crab. Yeah. That happened. Luger had completely regressed here. He had been in some of the best matches at Halloween Havoc... This was not one of them.
