I haven't had a chance to play test the cards yet (tonight hopefully) but from what I can see the stats are solid, the handbook is well written, and the art work is neither good or bad i'd put it someplace in the middle. The best art IMO are Delerious , Quakenbush , Sweeney, and Castagnoli. On the other end of the scale IMO would be Chris Hero and The Heartbreak Express. I thought the Heartbreak Express drawing Travis did was 1000 times better. Overall I'd say it's a great set and I'm looking forward to seeing more LOTF sets released

Your right, I also thought the art was hit or miss on this set. I've only quickly looked over the cards but first impression I'd have to say not bad.

Well I am looking forward to getting my hands on these when they arrive. Anything else folks can say about them?

Well I got my cards today!! Haven't played them yet but they have a certain Romita Jr. look to them. The artist on these: John Koratzanis did and AMAZING job! I love the look and I can see how some might find this more anime looking but honestly I think this befits the style and look of the times and differentiates between the two series. I love the artwork for all the cards.
Werner of course is just amazing! I personally want to go on record as saying Werner should be doing the LOW series and LE's and Koratzanis should continue to do the LOTF series. Both styles compliment one another very well!
Everyone should be proud of their work on this. And I am so looking forward to be adding these wrestlers to my Developmental fed.
Slainte! CPB

I got the cards yesterday and very well done! The art for the main set is very good for the most part. Hero's art is a little to anime' for my taste, but well done. Stats fit in well with the "regular" LOW cards. Werner's work was outstanding. I think his best work to date and I have admired his work for along time. The Dragons cards were exceptionally well done. Great job Werner. Put the cards in a tournament last night in my new NWA-Northeast region. Claudio will be a force to reckon with but it was Mikey Quackenbush who won the gold. Looking forward to some solid matches between the two. How long to LOTF 2?

I've only saw Hero's art, but have to admit, wasn't a fan at all. I just hate anime/manga/Japan style art though. I would have to see the rest
I'll pick up the set eventually, but will just switch over to use my own art if it's not to my liking
(now if we could get Mark T to finish those 2098 drawings !!!!)

Somebody is pretty "take my ball and go home". Speaking of your art when are we going to see that Memphis Madmen set done? Or is that something we will see eventually?
