Posted on Kayfabe Memories
I received word from Dean Silverstone that Buddy Rose passed away today at his home in Vancouver, WA. His wife, Tammy, came home from work at about 4 PM and found him nonresponsive in his favorite chair.
While I know that everybody has a strong opinion on Rose, this is still a sad situation.
RIP, Playboy.

Opinions don't matter now, not sure what you're referring to. He's dead now. One of the most colorful characters in wrestling.

My first recollections of Rose were his Blow Away diet on WWE TV. I know that was late in his career but they were always very entertaining and I think really emphasized his ability to read an audience and entertain. He will be missed.

Buddy was always fun to watch! Loved the "Blow-Away diet" bit! That was too funny!
Gonna miss Buddy, wish I had him in D.E.W., he would be a STAR!
R.I.P., Buddy! Thanks for entertaining us all through the years!
