I caught a bit of RAW on Monday, and I really liked the MVP - Miz angle.. they're both really coming along as talents.
I wasn't sure MVP would work as a face, but he does.

WWE might be status quo but they do have a better show with RAW, the younger talent is being used well and yeah I can't stand Sheamus but it's good to see a fresh face at the top, I hope Kofi Kingston will get his time at the top to shine this year and let Cena back off, a Kofi Kingston vs. Orton match for the belt with Kingston winning would be awesome...

I haven't really seen Sheamus at all.... this Raw aws the first time I'd put in on in some time... I was shocked he was the champ though.... totally shocked, in a good way.
I'm not a big Kofi fan, he's a little generic for my taste, but he does seem to get good pops.
The big downside I saw was the whole 'Jericho can't come back to Raw' stip in the main event.. you KNOW that won't last more than a couple weeks.
I also REALLY REALLY had the phrase "WWE Universe"
I loved Tyson's promo wit Hornswoggle though... comedy gold.

will say this. If six months ago you had shown me a photoline up of Sheamus, Jack Swagger, MVP, and The Miz and said, "Six months from now, one of these guys will be the champion on RAW. Guess which one." Never in a million years would I have picked Sheamus. Swagger, sure... Miz, maybe... Groundskeeper Willie? You're kidding right?

I still remeber when Miz was a poser on the Real World.. he's come a long way... or at least, managed to make a living out of it.. he's probably the most hatable heel on RAW right now.

Well reports out of WWE's d-fed the FCW Sheamus was the hottest talked about wrestler who should be main eventing in the WWE and then it's reported that Sheamus is HHH workout partner and thats one reason he was brought up so he can be with HHH, so in my view there were more talented and hardworking wrestlers already on RAW that could and should be in the main event, but politics had a hand in this in my view.
I really don't like Sheamus, he is right up there with Batista another guy I can't stand and thats not because he can act like a good heel or face like others have in the past, anyway...

He's buddies with HHH? That explains it!
*sigh* the more things change...

Yeah wrestling / sports entertainment is not the same anymore but when we are in the world of the internet these things are reported and what I find funny is when some say Nash and Hall get the political advantage but then they say Sheamus didn't, come on he might have done well down in FCW but to be friends with the owners son-in-law doesn't hurt one bit, more like it helps and yes things stay the same...
