TV TapingBout #1: Virgil vs. Mikael Judas (w/ Ted DiBiase) - If the previous night's house show did not solidify it, tonight did. Ted DiBiase, the man who has been causing Virgil's life to be a living hell, has hired someone to mess with Virgil, so he does not have to get his hands dirty. Judas pounded on Virgil the entire match and nailed 2 Assisted Suicides to score the win at 7:10. Virgil was out on his feet before the first Assisted Suicide, let alone the second. Virgil was laying in a heap on the mat, when Ted got into the ring. Ted: I told you, this could have all been avoided, but you know better! So, since you know better, now you will pay through the nose. You think that things have been bad so far, it will get worse. Bout #5: The Destroyer vs. One Man Gang - Gang came out without Idol or Muraco to face the newly arrived masked man. Bout #7: Danny Doring & Bob Orton, Sr vs. The Love Brothers Doring and Orton are both looking get some revenge on The Love Brothers for the past few weeks. Hartford turned away from Doring, but that allowed Danny to drive a knee into his back. Doring used his Danaconda to win at 7:09. Dan and Bob were able to gain some revenge, as the Loves made a quick exit following the match. Bout #8: Bob Orton, Jr, Elix Skipper, & Orlando Jordan vs. Raven, Rhino, & Timber - The tag team champions with a Flock member started before the bell. The action was hard to contain, as these 6 men blasted each other with everything they had. Rhino and Orton were battling up the ramp and they both battled right off the ramp into the crowd. Skipper was kicking Raven in the groin. He was stomping on Raven's knees, as Orlando and Timber spilled over the top ropes back into the ring. The Media Center at URI is filled to capacity, with wrestling journalists all over the country clamoring to find out where the Nature Boy will call home. The room is buzzing with excitement. After a few minutes, the commissioner comes to the podium
Wildfire: Thank you all for coming. It's been a great month here in the LWA, with arguably the greatest wrestler in history visiting all our territories, soon to become a member of one of them.
I'm pretty sure you guys didn't come here to hear it from me, so I'll just get out of Ric's way. Ladies and Gentleman, 'The Nature Boy', Ric Flair.
Even Media pop sometimes, as Flair gets a nice cheer and tosses out a WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! as he struts to the podium.
Flair: Ladies and Gentlemen…boys and girls…Slick Ric…has made his decision…Nitemarz…thank you for treating the Nat-ure boy the way he deserves…thanks for the 1787 Chateau Lafite…and the Playboy Bunnies…were a nice treat…Big Ten Wrestling…hunh…Chi town has always s been Flair Country…but not today…North Carolina…my town…my city…my home…Slick Ric had only one choice…only one choice to make…I had to go where I was respected…where I will receive the notoriety…and the M-O-N-E-Y…that’s right, brother…to roll with the Nature boy…you need a lot of dough-ray-me…now…the Nature Boy has to get a few things straight…Arn Anderson…we’ve travel this country all over…from border to border…coast to coast…all of America’s highways…you are my best friend…and my brother…but I’m not coming to Carolina to reform the Horsemen…you know…you and I will always be Horsemen…but I’m coming for business…it’s as simple as that…Frank Gotch…I am here to take your title…Harley Race…Ricky Steamboat…Dusty Rhodes…you been the Cocks of the walk too long…too long…there is another rooster in the henhouse…and this Cock can deliver…back to the biggest house…on the highest hill…in the best side of town…Momma…warm up dinner…’cause Daddy’s coming home…WOOOOOOoooo!
Flair shakes hands with the commissioner, then leaves to board a plane to Charlotte, and the commissioner comes back out.
Wildfire: Thanks, Ric. We have a few taped comments from some of Ric's friends and enemies that he'll soon be facing. The complete details of the contract are now being distributed.
Thanks again for your support of the LWA!
the lights dim, and a video rolls
Arn Anderson: Ric…you know, I heard what you said…and I gotta’ respect your wishes…just know that once a Horsemen…always a Horsemen…and if you need The Enforcer…I’m just a phone call away.
Dusty Rhodes: So…there’s a new rooster in the henhouse, if you weil…is that what you said Mr. Flair…well, just know this, banana-nose…you want some of the Dream…you just step into that ring…and just like John Wayne...and I’ll show you some Amurican Justice.
Ricky Steamboat: I'm honored that Ric wants to face me so much, but he might just be sorry he did... I'm no speed bump on your way to the title, Flair.. I might just be the guy that keeps the world title away from you.
Frank Gotch: Ric Flair is a great competitor, but there are plenty of great competitors in the LWA. He'll need to beat a few of them to show he's worthy of this title. I look forward to the challenge.

I'm the numba one contenda. I should be getting that shot. I have all the respect in the world for Flair, but he ain't been here beating up all the talent and winning matches. This ain't the 80's when the torch gets passed to a over booked, no talent, balding beach bum. This is da 21st century where you earn your shots. Any time you want to go Natch, you can find me in Big Ten Country. But just remember, win if you can....SURVIVE if I let you."
