Ok...that sucks...what is with all the reboots? I love the Green Arrow, Flash, and Batman & Robin titles...now, rebooting? Wtf?
Kinda figured as they dug themselves in a hole with Brightest Day crossover...what a disappointment that was coming off of Darkest Night! Yeah, 24 issues to build up and speculation for...
The Swamp Thing!
UCK!

Again? Sigh. We already have pre-post Crisis... and Pre/post Zero Hour.
I think I'm most disappointed that they're have all new #1s... I was lookin' forward to seeing what they did with the 1000th issue of Action and Detective Comics.

And with that announcement, I am officially done with DC.

I dont find this to be big news or shocking, comic books ( DC mainly ) seem to reboot, retool & whatever else that describes a new direction at certain points over the years...
I no longer collect anything new except for Johnny DC's Batman the Brave and the Bold, which I'm done with once my subscription ends...
I still like DC over Marvel for sure, but with prices and just lack of interest I'd rather re-read my old books then the newer one's being put out today...

I stick with DC Showcase personally. Too many reboots, too many times. They're the victims of their own success really.

Not a huge fan of the reboot idea, but I guess it was inevitable.

That preview actually looks pretty intriguing... I hate the idea, but maybe if you think about it like 'Ultimate DC' it might not be so bad.
Afterall, the Ultimate Marvel Universe WAS originally gonna replace the the real Marvel Universe, they just changed their mind.

I have to say Fury of Firestorm, Justice League International and Captain Atom from that listing has my interest peeked and if they have a Suicide Squad book planned out of the 52 books I might collect that...

The problem with digital comics are that once DC does this is the prices will probably jump to the same as cover price.

Yeah like they said when CD's came out they would be a lot cheaper to buy because it costs a lot less to make a CD then it did a cassette.......they basically just took the savings and put it in their pocket. Now with MP3s and other media sources, CD sales are way down. Kind of made their own bed on this one.

I definitely have zero interest in digital comics.... I run a book store... e-books are EVIL 52 books in the line? Is that true? I wonder if some will be E-comics only?

These is something to be said about digital comics when you consider storage space, but there is something special about holding the new issue in your hands as you read it.
