FWL HOUSE SHOW 12-12-07 Dome of Doom Arena-Auditorium Laramie, WY
Chris Candido vs. Mr. JL JL pinned Candido with a VICTORY ROLL.
Tajiri vs. Larry Sharpe (w/Killer Brooks) Tajiri in was late arriving at the arena for his final FWL match. He entered the talent entrance and was ushered straight to the ring. It was a good thing he was already dressed to wrestle. He must've gotten some weird looks in the airport because of his attire as well. It didn't matter, he still looked great in the ring. Brooks pulled Sharpe out of harms way outside the ring three separate times. When the action returned to the ring for the final time, Tajiri dropped Sharpe with a dragon suplex and attempted a pin. Brooks climbed in the ring but the ref stopped and put him back out on the floor. Tajiri jumped up to protest then turns around and nailed Sharpe with a shining wizard and makes the pin. Sharpe was knocked unconscious.
Killer Brooks vs. George South Since Larry Sharpe was injured in the opener, Brooks came to the ring by himself. It made no difference as he easily put away South with a KILLER LEG DROP
Fabulous Express (Dennis Condrey & Steve Keirn) vs. “Rock and Roll” Buck Zumhofe & Blue Meanie Condrey was still nursing his injury from last week but it didn’t seem to hamper him at all in the ring. Condrey pinned Meanie after a full nelson suplex.
[glow=red,2,300](INTERMISSION)[/glow]
Mighty Igor vs. Matt Borne Igor beat down Borne finally making him submit to a BEAR HUG.
Non-title Match Iceman Parson vs. FWL Heavyweight Champion Killer Khan (w/Killer Brooks) This match went back and forth and it actually looked as if Parsons might score the upset. Parsons grew frustrated that he wasn’t able to put the champ away and the action spilled outside. Parsons was disqualified after he shoved the ref.
FWL Tag Team Title Match Wrecking Crew (Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom) vs. FWL Tag Team Champions The Dastardlies (“Dirty” Dutch Mantell & Black Bart) The champs came to the ring seemingly bickering all the was down the aisle. The bickering didn’t stop during the match as there definitely seemed to be major issues between the two men. This translated to the match and they weren’t able to get anything going against the challengers. The Crew took advantage and Bloom pinned Mantel after a WRECKING BALL to win the titles. After the match, Bart grabbed a mic and addressed a dazed Mantell.
Bart: Now look what you did you good for nothing cow pie. You gone and lost me the FWL Tag Team Title. And where were you last week when that overgrown horses ass Igor was putting the boots to me?
(Mantel has finally regained his feet, looking a little bewildered at his partner.)
Mantel: Look, Bart, I told you I was in the shower. I had no idea what was going on.
Bart: I think you were conveniently in the shower. Maybe playing drop the soap or some faggot game like that.
Mantel: Look, I’ve taken enough of your nuts today. You better learn to watch your mouth before you say something that’s really gonna piss me off.
Bart: What, am I gettin’ under yer skin? Yer dirty faggot skin?
Mantel: I’m warnin’ you.
Bart: Ok, ok, I’m just messin’ with ya. It’s all in good fun, let’s head to the back and discuss this like real men.
(Mantel makes the mistake of turning his back and when does Bart whips him across the back with his bull whip. Mantell continues to whip and beat down the defenseless Mantel, shouting “Ya ain’t so dirty now are ya faggot. Or maybe ya are ya dirty faggot!” Officials finally came out of the back and pulled Bart off his former partner and allowed the medical staff to tend to Mantel.)

Good to see you starting up, didn't know you were going to so soon. One problem, I have Tajiri. I got him in a trade with you for Dos Caras. I don't have a card on the 12th so you can still have for this one unless you want to do some editing.

(MAW LIVE intro)
(Ann Hollis is at the announce table with Promoter Madkanter.)
Hollis: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, we are live and on the air. Welcome to the debut of MAW Live. I’m your host Ann Hollis and joining me tonight is the man that made Mid-America Wrestling possible, Madkanter.
Madkanter: Thanks, Ann. I appreciate the fanfare but there were many people involved in making this all possible.
Hollis: Understandably so. But without you doing all that you do, I’m sure this night would not have been possible. And what a night it’s going to be. Right out of the gates we’ll find out who the first MAW Heavyweight Champion is going to be in a Kansas City Rumble battle royal. Let’s head to the ring.
Kansas City Rumble for the MAW Heavyweight Title Participants: Killer Khan, Dutch Mantell, Killer Brooks, Black Bart, Larry Sharpe, Billy “Red” Lyons, “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan, Brad Rheingans, Cuban Assassin, Haku, Jesse Barr, “Natural Born Thriller” Mark Jindrak, Mr. JL, Papa Shango, Yukon Eric Highlights: Bart tried to eliminate Mantel. Sweetan snuck up from behind and eliminated Bart. Bart was forced from the ringside area muttering something about Dutch and his faggot partner. Eric tried to eliminate Khan but Brooks made the save. Eric tried to eliminate Brooks but Khan made the save. Khan tried to eliminate Eric but Lyons made the save. Lyons tried to eliminate Khan. Brooks snuck up from behind and eliminated Lyons. Brooks eliminated Eric. Brooks eliminated Haku. J.L. eliminated Brooks. Khan tried to eliminate Sweetan but Mantel made the save. J.L. eliminated Shango. Cuban Assassin tried to eliminate J.L. Rheingans snuck up from behind and eliminated Assassin. Sharpe tried to eliminate Rheingans but Jindrak made the save. Jindrak tried to eliminate Sharpe but Khan made the save. Jindrak tried to eliminate Khan. Sharpe tried to make the save but Jindrak saw him coming and ducked. Sharpe nailed Khan with a flying forearm and sent Khan over the top rope to the arena floor. Jindrak eliminated Sharpe. Jindrak eliminated Barr. Mantel tried to eliminate Jindrak. Rheingans snuck up from behind and tried to make the save. Rheingans momentum carried both he and Mantel over the top rope, eliminating both of them. Jindrak eliminated J.L. Jindrak eliminated Sweetan. Winner: “Natural Born Thriller” Mark Jindrak
Hollis: “Natural Born Thriller” Mark Jindrak is the new MAW Heavyweight Champion.
Madkanter: What a great moment in this rising star’s career.
(break)
Hollis: Before we go to our next match, “Big” Wayne is in the dressing room with the new MAW Heavyweight Champion.
(“Big” Wayne and Mark Jindrak are in the dressing room interview area.)
Wayne: Congratulations, man. It’s an honor to be standing here with the first MAW Heavyweight Champion.
Jindrak: Thanks a lot big man. This is a huge moment in my career. It’s my first title in the LWA. I’m sure I'll remember it forever. But I have a message for a former friend of mine. Hey, Sean O’Hare! You see this? (Holds up belt) You think you’re better than me? You think you don’t need me? Well looks like I don’t need you. You steaming pile of crap! You think you can make it on your own and leave me in your dust? Just look what I hold in my hands.
(Brad Rheingans comes into view.)
Rheingans: Hey, man. Calm down. Remember what we talked about. You don’t need O’Haire or anyone else, for that matter. Just stay true to yourself and you’ll go to the top.
Jindrak: Yeah, you’re right. Thanks for all your help and support. It’s good to know who your friends are.
(Jindrak & Rheingans head to the ring.)
Killer Brooks & Larry Sharpe vs. Brad Rheingans & MAW Heavyweight Champion Mark Jindrak Rheingans pinned Sharpe with a German suplex.
(break)
Yukon Eric vs. Papa Shango Eric made Shango submit to the KODIAK KRUNCH.
(break)
Hollis: Coming up next is a bull rope on a pole match. Can you guess who the participants are?
(Footage of the final FWL TV broadcast) The Crew took advantage and Bloom pinned Mantel after a WRECKING BALL to win the titles.
Madkanter: Both men actually asked for this match. All I had to do was sign it.
Bull Whip on a Pole Match Dutch Mantel vs. Black Bart (w/Gary Hart) Both men actually stayed away from the bull whip to start with, opting to wear the other down. Bart finally made an attempt to get the whip but Mantel knocked him from the turnbuckle. Mantel was able to get it and went to work. Mantel lashed Bart a couple of times then wrapped the whip around Bart’s neck. As Mantel choked the life out of Bart, Hart began arguing with the ref. Mantel released the whip and went to the top turnbuckle. As Mantel leapt toward Bart, Hart shoved the ref into his path causing a collision. The ref went down hard and was out. Bart was able to recover and began to brawl with Mantel. That’s when Hart signaled to the back and out came the Wrecking Crew – Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom. The Crew entered the ring and grabbed the whip. Enos and Bloom took turns lashing Mantel until he had bloody streaks all over his body. Then Bart grabbed the whip, wrapped it around Mantel’s throat and hung him over the top rope. A semi-conscious Mantel started to go limp when “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan ran to the ring with a chair. Sweetan managed to clear the ring as medical staff, MAW officials and Madkanter, himself, entered the ring to assess the damage.
(break)
Hollis: Welcome back. My apology for the confusion. Dutch Mantel is being taken to the back on a stretcher and, I’m sure, on to a hospital. If you missed it, here’s what went down.
(Footage of what happened before the break) As Mantel choked the life out of Bart, Hart began arguing with the ref.
Promoter Madkanter has rejoined us at the announce position.
Madkanter: You know, I had Gary Hart running this place two months ago. Had I known this is what the future held, I would’ve kicked his ass to the curb a long time ago. Unfortunately, I’m bound by contractual obligations so this thing will have to be settled in the ring.
Hollis: Well, if that’s behind us, it’s time for our next match and, oh look, it’s Gary Hart and the Wrecking Crew.
MAW Tag Team Title Match Fabulous Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose w/Steve Keirn) vs. MAW Tag Team Champions Wrecking Crew (Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom w/Gary Hart) Condrey revealed his partner and newest member of the Fabulous Express to be Randy Rose. Keirn was in the corner for the challengers. The Crew and Hart were quite smug after the actions they just perpetrated. Hart and Madkanter exchanged words at ringside as The Crew seemed to be handling their business inside the ring. The words between Hart and Madkanter became heated at one point and the ref was distracted. Keirn took this opportunity to, what looked like, tear his cast covered arm out of the socket. As it turned out, the cast was a fake and Keirn bashed Enos in the back of the head with it allowing Condrey to make the pin and win the titles.
(break)
Hollis: What a wild night this has turned out to be. Madkanter has left the ringside area. He rode in the ambulance with Dutch Mantel who is being transported to a local hospital in pretty bad shape after an attack by Black Bart, Wrecking Crew and Gary Hart. Then a smug Crew and Hart had the tables turned when Mike Enos was whacked in the head by Steve Keirn’s fake cast. That gave us new MAW Tag Team Champions. And now we have what should be a fantastic main event.
Harley Race (w/Larry Hennig) vs. Lex Luger (special referee: “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan) Race had control, pretty much, from the start and Sweetan did a great job of calling the match right down the middle. That’s when all hell broke loose. PNW’s Army – Killer Krupp, Wild Samoans Afa & Sika and Mosse Cholak – came out of the crowd. The four men blew by Sweetan and into the ring attacking Race. Luger rolled out of the ring as Hennig entered and Hennig was beaten for his troubles. Sweetan, for the second time of the evening, grabbed a chair and entered the ring swinging. Sweetan managed to nail Afa, Sika and Cholak. Krupp made it out of the ring unscathed. The Army returned to the dressing room as Sweetan and Hennig raised Race’s hand to indicate to the crowd he was the winner by disqualification. The crowd gave a huge pop and cheered for one of the originals from the Central States area.

[glow=red,2,300]MAW LIVE[/glow] 1-11-08 Memorial Hall Kansas City, MO
(Backstage in front of MAW logo) Larry Sharpe (w/Killer Brooks): Yukon Eric, you muscle bound dummy. Tonight my Killer goes through you en route to that punk Jindrak.
(Backstage in front of MAW logo) Yukon Eric: Whoooo! I’ve chopped down trees bigger than you Brooks and I’ll chop you down too on my way to that heavyweight title match.
(Backstage in front of MAW logo) Gary Hart (w/Wrecking Crew): Express, you may’ve caught us off guard last week but never again. Tonight, my Crew wrecks you and gets their belts back.
(Backstage in front of MAW logo) Dennis Condrey (w/Steve Kerin & Randy Rose): You say we pulled one over on you last week, eh Hart? Well, we’ll pull one over on you every week because you never know which two of you’re going to face when we defend these belts. We’ll keep you guessing live from Kansas City, it’s Mid America Wrestling.
(MAW intro)
(Ann Hollis and Billy “Red” Lyons sit at the ringside announce table.)
Hollis: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to MAW Live. I’m your host Ann Hollis and joining me at the broadcast position tonight is Billy “Red” Lyons. Billy, how are you?
Lyons: I’m doing well, Ann. Thanks for asking.
Hollis: As we heard in the open, your tag team partner Yukon Eric faces Killer Brooks tonight to determine a number one contender for the MAW Heavyweight Championship.
Lyons: Eric’s really hyped about this opportunity. I just hope he keeps one eye on Larry Sharpe at ringside.
Hollis: Definitely. It could totally turn into a two on one in a hurry. Also, in tonight’s main event, The Wrecking Crew gets a rematch against the team that beat them for the titles last week, the Fabulous Express.
(Footage from MAW Live 1-2-08) Hart and Madkanter exchanged words at ringside as The Crew seemed to be handling their business inside the ring.
Lyons: Did I hear correctly in the open? The Express is being allowed to use any combination of the three they want?
Hollis: That is correct. Some call it the Freebird rule but no matter what you call it, it definitely gives the Fabulous Express an advantage.
Haku vs. Larry Sharpe (w/Killer Brooks) This match ended pretty quick with Haku pinning Sharpe with a flying cross body.
(break)
Hollis: Welcome back. Let’s head to the dressing room where “Big” Wayne is standing by with “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan. Wayne?
(“Big” Wayne and “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan are in the dressing room interview area.)
Wayne: Thanks Ann. Bruiser, you had quite a busy night on the debut episode of MAW Live.
Sweetan: You got that right. Gary Hart and his boys seemed like they wanted to go beyond ending Dutch Mantel’s career last week. I have a lot of respect for Dutch. There’s a lot of guys that wouldn’t be in the LWA today if it weren’t for the man. I couldn’t stand by and watch a man of that caliber’s career or even his life be ended like that last week.
Wayne: And what about last week’s main event.
Sweetan: I was just trying to do my job as an official to keep law and order. Plus, Harley Race is a friend and I was just watching his back.
Wayne: Well, Bruiser will try to make right what Bart and the Crew did last week to Dutch Mantel when he faces Black Bart later tonight. Back to you at ringside.
Hollis: Thanks Wayne. Our next match features two men that are just trying to catch a break in the LWA.
Mr. JL vs. Jesse Barr Barr beat JL with a choke slam.
(break)
Papa Shango & Cuban Assassin (w/Larry Sharpe) vs. MAW Heavyweight Champion Mark Jindrak & Brad Rheingans Rheingans pinned Shango following a body to body suplex. After the match, Killer Brooks rushed to the ring and clotheslined Jindrak from behind. Then Brooks, Shango and Cuban Assassin attacked Rheingans. Sharpe threw a chair into the ring. Then Shango and Assassin helped Brooks deliver a spike piledriver to Rheingans on the chair. Officials ran to ringside following this heinous act and ran off Sharpe and his Monster Factory. Jindrak entered the ring and along with medical staff attended to Rheingans.
(break)
Hollis: For the second week in a row, an attempt has been made to end someone’s career.
Lyons: Indeed. Last week Gary Hart’s bunch put Dutch Mantel on the shelf and this week it was the Monster Factory taking out Brad Rheingans.
Hollis: Speaking of Dutch, up next Bruiser tries to turn Black Bart into Black and Blue Bart.
“Bruiser” Bob Sweetan vs. Black Bart (w/Gary Hart) Sweetan beat Bart with a fallaway slam. After the match Haku and a debuting George “The Animal” came to the ring. Steele chased Gary Hart back to the dressing room while Sweetan beat down Bart in the ring and Haku set up a table outside the ring. When the table was set up, Sweetan brought Bart out and set up on the top of the table. Sweetan lifted Bart up and delivered a PILDRIVER on top of the table, breaking it in half. MAW officials and medical staff rushed to the ring as George “The Animal” Steel wandered back out toward the ring with what looked like Gary Hart’s pants in his mouth. Sweetan and Haku met Steele half way up the ramp, removed the pants from Steele’s mouth, threw them to the crowd and led Steele back to the dressing room.
(break)
Hollis: This has been a night a sheer brutality. Someone is going to wind up maimed or dead if this keeps up.
Lyons: I really hope it doesn’t come to that.
Hollis: I have just been handed a not that a huge announcement will be made last week concerning all the violence that has taken place in the first two weeks of Mid-America Wrestling.
Lyons: I certainly hope some action will be taken.
MAW Heavyweight Title Number One Contender’s Match Killer Brooks (w/Larry Sharpe) vs. Yukon Eric More violence in this match as Brooks kept the advantage for most of it. He pulled out all the stops hitting Eric with multiple chair shots and a loaded elbow pad as Sharpe distracted the ref. Unfortunately for him, Brooks luck ran out and the ref caught him using the chair and disqualified him.
Hollis: By way of the disqualification, Yukon Eric is the number one contender for the MAW Heavyweight Title. Billy “Red” Lyons has gone into the ring to congratulate his partner and we’ll go to break. Stay tuned, tonight’s main event is up next.
MAW Tag Team Title Match Wrecking Crew (Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom) vs. Fabulous Express (Steve Keirn & Randy Rose w/Dennis Condrey) Conspicuous by his absence was Gary Hart and really cost The Crew as they seemed to lack focus and were goaded outside the ring by the champs. That’s where both teams started brawling and the ref called for the bell counting both teams out.
Hollis: Well, that solved absolutely nothing. We’re almost out of time, don’t forget next week a huge announcement about the violence that has taken place in MAW and hopefully updates on the condition of both Dutch Mantel and Brad Rheingans. We’ll see you then.

[glow=red,2,300]MAW LIVE[/glow] 1-18-08 Memorial Hall Kansas City, MO
(Backstage in front of the MAW logo)
“Big” Wayne: This is “Big” Wayne and I’ve just been handed a memo to read. The MAW Board of Directors has mandated that a Hardcore Title will be crowned and the contenders for the tournament will be determined by tonight’s matches. Also, live from Kansas City this is Mid America Wrestling.
(MAW Live intro)
(Ann Hollis and Dutch Mantel are at the ringside announce position.)
Hollis: Good evening and welcome to MAW Live. I’m your host Ann Hollis and joining me at the broadcast position is a face we haven’t seen in a while. Dutch Mantel, I’m so happy to have you here with me tonight.
Mantel: Thank you very much young lady. It’s great to be back in front of the fans in the MAW.
Hollis: Before we discuss what is happening here tonight, I’d like to announce next week you have a big announcement regarding your in-ring return, isn’t that right Dutch?
Mantel: That is correct. I’ll make that announcement right here next week.
Hollis: With that out of the way, we heard in the opening that MAW is going to crown a hardcore champion and the winners of tonight’s matches will make up the eight contenders who will battle for that belt.
Mantel: I’ve been in some pretty rough scraps in my day and let’s just say I’m pretty glad to not be in the running for that title.
Hollis: But I’ve seen you hold your own in quite a few brawls, I bet you’d do just that in this tournament.
Mantel: Thank you very much. I appreciate the compliment.
Hollis: As I was saying, each match tonight will be contested under a special stipulation. Also, tonight, we have a double main event. Both matches will be contested with no holds barred and both are six man tag matches. The first one features MAW Heavyweight Champion Mark Jindrak teaming with Yukon Red to exact some revenge for Jindrak’s mentor against the Monster Factory. Let’s take a look why.
(Footage from MAW LIVE 1-11-08) Rheingans pinned Shango following a body to body suplex.
And in our second main event Gary Hart has reached into his bag of tricks and found a mystery partner to join his Wrecking Crew to take on “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan, Haku & George “The Animal” Steele. “Big” Wayne is in the dressing room with Hart and the Crew, Wayne?
(“Big” Wayne, Gary Hart, Wayne Bloom & Mike Enos are in the dressing room interview area.)
Wayne: So, are you going to let us know who your mystery man is or are you going to keep us guessing.
Hart: What do you think? But I will give you one hint. Beware because my mystery man is an animal. Look out because you never know when he’ll pounce.
Hollis: A very cryptic message from one Gary Hart.
Mantel: I have good idea who his man is but I’m going to wait and see if my suspicions are correct.
Hollis: Very well then. Let’s head to the ring for our first match.
Brass Knuckles Match Larry Sharpe (w/Killer Brooks) vs. Randy Rose (w/Dennis Condrey) Sharpe started out strong then was overtaken by Rose. Sharpe showed a few glimpses of hope after that but Rose never looked to be in trouble. Sharpe was busted open halfway through the match and Rose ended it with a piledriver on the concrete floor. Even with Brooks trying to revive him, Sharpe remained unconscious on the arena floor.
(break)
Hollis: Randy Rose is the first to qualify for the Hardcore Title Tournament. Up next a ladder match. Hanging above the ring is a contract. The winner of this match is the first man to scale the ladder, grab the contract and sign his name, therefore entering himself in the Hardcore Title Tournament.
Mantel: You’ve got two of the lighter guys in this match. It should make it easier for them to climb that ladder.
Ladder Match Mr. JL vs. Jesse Barr Barr gained the advantage at the beginning of the match and after several minutes went for the ladder. Barr was about three quarters of the way up when JL dropkicked the ladder and Barr was clotheslined on the top rope. JL folded up the ladder and placed it on top of Barr. Then JL went to the top rope and landed a swanton bomb on the ladder, crushing Barr beneath it. JL hurt himself as well. JL managed to reopen the ladder and started to climb it slowly. It took everything Barr had to crawl to the ladder, grab JL’s leg and pull him down. Unfortunately for Barr, JL was able to adjust in midair and land a knee drop on the barely conscious Barr. That’s all JL needed and he was able to make his way up the ladder and grab the contract. JL jumped off the ladder, rolled out of the ring and grabbed a pen off the announce table. JL signed the contract and the match was over.
Hollis: Congratulations, Mr. JL.

Hollis: Our next two matches have the possibility of being very bloody. Parents, viewer discretion is advised.
MAW Heavyweight Champion Mark Jindrak, Yukon Red (Yukon Eric & Billy “Red” Lyons) vs. The Monster Factory (Killer Brooks, Papa Shango & Cuban Assassin w/Larry Sharpe) This was a wild match that saw the use of steel chairs, metal pipes and a rope. At one point in the match, Eric and Assassin brawled all the way out of the arena and Assassin threw Eric through the windshield of a car. Needless to say, Eric was busted open and lost a lot of blood. So much so, he almost passed out from the blood loss. The ref came very close to stopping the match but didn’t. Brooks was also busted open. The end finally came when Assassin pinned Jindrak after clubbing him several times with the metal pipe. After the match both teams brawled but Assassin did some serious damage to Jindrak with several HANGMAN’S NECKBREAKERS with the rope from the match.

Hollis: Holy cow. That match was totally outrageous.
Mantel: I wonder how this next one will top it.
Hollis: If what happened last week is any indication, this one should be wild. Here take a look.
(Footage from MAW LIVE 1-11-08) Sweetan beat Bart with a fallaway slam.
Mantel: I was happy to see Bart get what he deserved but d**n. That was rough.
Hollis: Gary Hart is in the ring and it looks like he’s about to introduce his mystery man.
Hart: From the Serengeti, The Alpha Male Monty Brown.
Monty Brown & the Wrecking Crew (Wayne Bloom & Mike Enos w/Gary Hart) vs. “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan, Haku & George “The Animal” Steele The Sweetan led team had this from the beginning. Brown was a non-factor and actually got into a shouting match with Hart before leaving the ring midmatch. This left the Crew at a distinctive disadvantage. Steele pinned Bloom after nailing him with a steel chair.
Hollis: An unexpected turn of events in that last match.
Mantel: Monty Brown didn’t even get into the match. What a disappointment.
Hollis: Be sure to tune in next week as we begin our Hardcore Title Tournament and Dutch Mantel makes a very important announcement. Good night.
