Rheingans: See, Mark? You aren’t as hot of nuts as you think you are, huh? I just proved it by not pinning you, but making you submit. Not a lot that piece of crap Akbar can do for here in this ring when it’s one on one, is there? And now I have your belt. Well, I’ll tell you what. You can have it back. All I wanted to do was prove to you that you still have a whole hell of a lot more to learn, junior.
(Rheingans throws the title belt at Jindrak.)

[glow=red,2,300]MAW LIVE[/glow] 3-7-08 Memorial Hall Kansas City, KS
(MAW Live intro)
(Dan Gier is in the center of the ring with a mic.)
Gier: Good evening and welcome to MAW Live. I’m your host Dan Gier and tonight we start a new era in the MAW. MAW Upper Management has reached a boiling point and they are not pleased with what has gone on the last couple of months. Pretty much since we’ve started here in KC. We are championless, with all our current title holders leaving this territory for either greener pastures or time away from the sport. Upper Management has brought in several new faces and are ready to take a more hands on approach to ruling this territory. To start with they’ve appointed an in-house spokesperson. This is a man that everyone here should be familiar with. Ladies and gentlemen, I present MAW Upper Management’s spokesperson “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan.
(Sweetan comes to the ring. Gier shakes his hand, says something in his ear and hands him the mic.)
Sweetan: Thank you. I’m not generally a guy who likes to do a lot of talking. I like to give people bruises but Upper Management feels that I’m the guy for this job. I’m familiar with this territory and know how this place should run. Ultimately, Upper Management runs this territory. I’m just here to deliver their message and help enforce their rulings. Upper Management realizes this is a big job and one that I probably can’t do on my own. So, they’ve also appointed an enforcer to help me represent them. Ladies and gentlemen, MAW Upper Management’s enforcer, the “Ultimate Fighting Machine” Haku.
(Haku, dressed in a business suit complete with bowtie, comes to the ring, shakes Sweetan’s and Gier’s hand and stands beside Sweetan.)
I guess what Upper Management is saying is the time of martial law is over. There are rules in this territory and those rules are going to be followed. If not, there will be consequences. Thank you.
(break)
(Dan Gier and “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan are at the ringside announce position.)
Gier: Welcome back. I’ve been joined at the announce position by the newly appointed Upper Management spokesperson “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan and, Mr. Sweetan, there’s an announcement you have to make regarding our vacant titles.
Sweetan: That’s right. MAW will be presenting its first supercard called Hometown Throwdown on Sunday, March 16th at Kemper Arena. At Hometown Throwdown the top four ranked singles wrestlers and tag teams will be in a round robin tournament to crown both the MAW Heavyweight and MAW Tag Team Titles, respectively. Upper Management has decided these will be the only two titles that will appear in MAW.
Gier: That sounds like a huge show. How will Upper Management determine who the top four competitors in each division are and when will they be announced?
Sweetan: The wrestlers for the round robin will be determined based on their performance through MAW Live next week and I’ll announce those men before the show goes off the air next week.
Gier: In that case, let’s head to the ring and let these men begin to prove themselves.
Sandy & Jesse Barr vs. Samoan Island Tribe (Samu & Alofa) Sandy pinned Alofa with a QUICK ROLLUP.
(break)
Jim Powers vs. Wayne Bloom (w/Mike Enos & John Tolos) Powers made this match very competitive and even looked like he’d pull out a victory at one point. Bloom came back and pinned Powers after TOP ROPE CLOTHESLINE. After the match, Mike Enos entered the ring and attacked Powers. Bloom joined the attack and planted Powers with a WRECKING BALL.
(break)
Gier: I’ve been joined at the broadcast position by John Tolos as “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan will be involved in our next match and had to go to the dressing room to get ready.
Tolos: Who cares about that wind bag. Upper Management lets him speak for them and he thinks he’s the boss. Blah, blah, blah.
Gier: You obviously don’t have much respect for Bob Sweetan but what about your new team – The Wrecking Crew.
Tolos: I’m going to take the Crew straight to the top. They’ve been to the top of the mountain before and you better believe they’re going to be one of the teams in that round robin championship tournament. Hell, they might as well be the only team since they’re going to win it all and get those shiny belts back around their waists.
Gier: They certainly made a statement with Jim Powers. Let’s go to the ring for our next match.
“Bruiser” Bob Sweetan & Haku vs. Tough Studs (“Tennessee Stud” Ron Fuller & “Tough” Tony Borne) In a highly competitive match that saw Sweetan and Haku not quite on the same page, Borne nailed Sweetan with brass knuckles then made the pin.
(break)
Randy Rose (w/Dennis Condrey & Angelo Poffo) vs. Justin Credible Rose won by disqualification when Credible blasted him with the SINGAPORE CANE.
(break)
Dennis Condrey (w/Randy Rose & Angelo Poffo) vs. Mike Enos (w/Wayne Bloom & John Tolos) Condrey beat Enos with a FACE FIRST LEG SWEEP.
(break)
Gier: It’s time for our main event. Now this match is between two former running buddies but Mark Jindrak has decided to go it alone. He wants to prove, once and for all, that he’s at the top of his game and doesn’t need anybodies help to get the MAW Heavyweight Title back around his waist.
Tolos: You ask me, all these guys around here talk too much. If they cared half as much about what the do between the ropes as what comes out of their mouths, they’d all be able to stake claim to that title belt.
Mark Jindrak vs. Black Bart This was a great match with a lot of intensity. Bart had Jindrak pinned after a bulldog but George “The Animal” Steele, returning from injury, came into the ring and put Bart in the FLYING HAMMERLOCK. The ref decided not to call for the disqualification because he was able to get Steele out of the ring fairly quickly. Bart’s arm was hurt but he continued, finally managing to pin Jindrak after a TEXAS TRASH COMPACTOR.
Gier: Where did George “The Animal” Steele come from.
Tolos: I have no idea but they need to lock that guy up. He’s a maniac.
Gier: Bart did put him out of action for a few weeks. Looks like Steele’s returned to get some payback.
Tolos: He’s an absolute nuisance if you ask me.
Gier: And it looks like he’s ready to give Bart all he can handle. That’s all the time we have tonight. See you next time.

[glow=red,2,300]MAW Live[/glow] 3-12-08 Memorial Hall Kansas City, KS
(MAW Live intro)
(Dan Gier and John Tolos are at the ringside announce position.)
Gier: Good evening and welcome to MAW Live. I’m your host Dan Gier and I’m joined at the broadcast table by John Tolos. Coming up this Sunday is the first ever MAW supercard called Hometown Throwdown and it’ll come to you live from Kemper Arena. We plan on talking about that show a lot tonight and we start with the two round robin tournaments we’re having that night to crown new heavyweight and tag team champions. Some of the participants in those tournaments have been named. Since I’m being joined by John Tolos, we’ll discuss that tag team tournament first. Mr. Tolos, your Wrecking Crew has been revealed as one of the teams in the tournament.
Tolos: You’re d**n right. And why wouldn’t they be. They’re the most dominant team in this sorry company.
Gier: Another team that’s been named are the most recent champions the “Original” Midnight Express.
Tolos: Those wannabes? They may’ve been the first but they definitely weren’t the best. If that’s the best team they could find to oppose us, then we’ve got this in the bag.
Gier: Maybe a little overconfident, Mr. Tolos? I guess only time will tell. We’ll reveal the other two teams plus the heavyweight tournament participants later on tonight.
Jesse & Art Barr vs. Samoan Island Tribe (Samu & Alofa) Alofa pinned Jesse after a double team headbutt.
(break)
Gier: Two men that we know will not be involved in either tournament are Black Bart and the man that’s joining me at the broadcast table, George “The Animal” Steele. John Tolos has gone to the dressing room as Wayne Bloom is involved in the next match. Mr. Steele, you’ve been out of action for some time with an injury suffered at the hands of Black Bart. I’m actually a little surprised by this, you don’t normally speak coherently.
Steele: Please call me Animal and you’d be surprised about how well I can talk. I was actually a teacher before wrestling and am quite educated. Get me in that ring, though, and I become, well, the animal that you’re more accustomed to seeing.
Gier: That’s good to know. Now you and Bart will be absent from the tournaments because you will be meeting each other in a bull whip on a pole match. Bart certainly knows his way around a bull whip, what about you?
Steele: I know a thing or two. I know how it feels to be whipped. I know how it feels to have one wrapped around my neck, choking the life out of me. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with Bart come Hometown Throwdown.
Jim Powers vs. Wayne Bloom (w/John Tolos) Bloom beat Powers with a TOP ROPE FLYING CLOTHESLINE.
Gier: Welcome back. Our next match is a preview of what we’re going to see this Sunday at Hometown Throwdown. The Tough Studs and Samoan Island Tribe are the final two teams to be entered in the tournament.
Steele: That should be a great tournament. Four great teams with differing styles.
Tough Studs (“Tennessee Stud” Ron Fuller & “Tough” Tony Borne vs. “Original” Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose w/Angelo Poffo) Fuller made Rose submit to a FULLER LEGLOCK.
Justin Credible vs. Mike Enos (w/John Tolos) Enos had Credible pinned after a POWERSLAM but Enos was attacked by a masked man causing Credible to be disqualified.
(break)
Gier: I have no idea who that masked man was and I’m being told that he and Justin Credible left the building very promptly after the last match. Now it’s time to announce the entrants for the heavyweight title round robin tournament. “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan and Haku will try to keep Upper Management’s control stronger by trying to win the title. Mark Jindrak and Jesse Barr will try to throw a monkey wrench into their plans.
Steele: Sweetan and Haku are a couple of tough, strong individuals. But anything is possible in the squared circle.
Gier: Now we’ll get a taste of what we’ll see in the heavyweight title tournament.
Mark Jindrak vs. Haku Haku pinned Jindrak after two CRESCENT KICKS.
(break)
Gier: Time for tonight’s main event and I’m sure you’re going to take great interest in this one Animal.
Steele: That’s right. Time to scout my opponent for Hometown Throwdown.
Black Bart vs. “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan Bart looked like he might pull out a victory as he had Sweetan set up for a TEXAS TRASH COMPACTOR. George “The Animal” Steele came up from the broadcast position and unbeknownst to the ref pushed Bart off the turnbuckle. Bart crashed to the canvas then Sweetan nailed him with a PILEDRIVER for the win.
Gier: The Animal interjected himself in that match and cost Bart. Now we’ll see who gets their revenge this Sunday at Hometown Throwdown. That’s all the time we have tonight. We’ll see you on Sunday.

[glow=red,2,300]HOMETOWN THROWDOWN[/glow] 3-16-08 Kemper Arena Kansas City, MO
(HT intro)
(Dan Gier is at the ringside announce position.)
Gier: Good evening and welcome to the first MAW supercard. We are live at the Kemper Arena and this is the Hometown Throwdown and tonight we will crown new MAW Heavyweight and Tag Team Champions. We will hold two round robin tournaments. In the heavyweight tournament we have “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan, Haku, Mark Jindrak and Jesse Barr. In the tag team tournament it’s the Wrecking Crew, “Original” Midnight Express, Samoan Island Tribe and Tough Studs. We’re also going to see two men try to settle a score when George “The Animal” Steele tangles with Black Bart in a bull rope on a pole match. And we’re being visited, tonight, by members of the North Star Wrestling roster for a friendly little interpromotional contest. Three matches to see who the better developmental fed is. So, let’s head to the ring and get this throwdown started.
MAW Tag Team Title Tournament Match Wrecking Crew (Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom w/John Tolos) vs. Samoan Island Tribe (Samu & Alofa) Alofa pinned Bloom after Bloom missed a flying body press. After the match, Justin Credible and the mystery masked man attacked. They first nailed Tolos and Enos with Singapore canes outside the ring. Then the entered the ring and wore out Bloom with the same Singapore canes. Bloom was busted open by the time officials got to the ring and ran Credible and the masked man off.
(break)
Gier: What a way to start out the show. We’re going to go to the dressing room now, where Justin Credible and his mystery masked man are standing by.
(Justin Credible and the Masked Man are in the dressing room interview area.)
Masked Man: Wrecking Crew! John Tolos! I am the Canadian Wrecker and you have felt my wrath. You will pay for what you have done to me! I have allied myself with Justin Credible to destroy all three of you! My quest will not be complete until all three of you are out of pro wrestling for good.
(Back at the ringside announce position with Dan Gier.)
Gier: I’m not sure what history the Canadian Wrecker has with the Crew and Tolos but he sure is pissed off about it. They have seemed to have rendered Wayne Bloom unable to compete and I’m getting word now that John Tolos will actually replace Bloom on his team. Let’s go back to the ring for more tournament action.
MAW Heavyweight Title Tournament Match “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan vs. Mark Jindrak Sweetan was disqualified for ramming Jindrak into the ringpost. After the match Shocker and Rey Bucanero from LLI attacked Sweetan. Bucanero nailed Sweetan with a chair. Then gave him a BUCA STORM on the chair. Then to add insult to injury, Shocker locked a barely conscious Sweetan in LA REINERA. Jindrak grabbed a mic.
Jindrak: Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to High Society. My friends, here, and I lead a life of privilege. We will not be dictated to by some wannabe tough guy who thinks he’s in charge. I will be the next MAW Heavyweight Champion.
(break)
Gier: Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve just barely begun and we’ve already had enough action to fill an entire program. We just witnessed the appearance of High Society. Mark Jindrak has sought the assistance of Shocker and Rey Bucanero from Mexico and they laid out “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan. Sweetan is on his way to a local hospital and will be replaced in tonight’s tournament by Sandy Barr. Now, more tournament action.
MAW Tag Team Title Tournament Match “Original” Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose w/Angelo Poffo) vs. Tough Studs (“Tennessee Stud” Ron Fuller & “Tough” Tony Borne) This match started out going back and forth with several quick tags by both teams. Fuller had Condrey in the FULLER LEGLOCK. Rose tried to break it up but was cut off by Borne. Poffo tried to distract the ref but he ignored Poffo. Condrey was able to make it to the ropes. Fuller locked the FULLER LEGLOCK on again and Poffo was back up on the apron. This time the ref had had enough and sent Poffo to the back. When the match resumed there was more back and forth action until Borne pinned Condrey after a running knee to the turnbuckle.
(break)
Gier: This next match is the last of our first round, round robin tournament matches.
MAW Heavyweight Title Tournament Match Haku vs. Jesse Barr In an amazing upset, Barr made Haku submit to a short arm clothesline.
(break)
Gier: Next up is the beginning of our friendly interpromotional contest with North Star Wrestling. The first two of three matches to determine who the better developmental fed is.
"Tiger Man" Pesek (wearing his mask) vs. Jim Powers Pesek had little trouble with Powers, making him submit to a DOUBLE WRISTLOCK.
(break)
Code Red (Big Red & Don "The Fire" Bass) vs. Scott Norton & Tony Halme Bass nailed Halme with a CATAPULT SPLASH but Norton broke up the pin. A second CATAPULT SPLASH saw Norton break up the pin again. Bass jumped up in Norton’s face and Halme rolled up Bass from behind for a near fall. An ARGINTINE BACKBREAKER by Halme. Big Red was cut off by Norton and Bass submitted.
Gier: The contest to determine the better developmental territory is now tied at one win a piece. We’ll find out the winner a little later on. Coming up after the break, we continue our championship round robins.
(break)
MAW Tag Team Title Tournament Match Mike Enos & John Tolos (substituting for an injured Wayne Bloom) vs. “Original” Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose w/Angelo Poffo) Condrey and Rose hit the ROCKET LAUNCHER on Enos but Tolos broke up the pin. A second ROCKET LAUNCHER and Tolos came in the ring again. This time a wild brawl broke out between the two teams and the ref called for the bell ruling this match a double disqualification.
Gier: Ouch. A double dq. That’s going to hurt both of these team’s chances at winning the title.
(break)
MAW Heavyweight Title Tournament Match Sandy Barr (substituting for an injured Bob Sweetan) vs. Haku Barr submitted to a crippling nerve hold.
(break)
MAW Tag Team Title Tournament Match Samoan Island Tribe (Samu & Alofa) vs. Tough Studs (“Tennessee Stud” Ron Fuller & “Tough” Tony Borne) Fuller made Alofa submit to the FULLER LEGLOCK.
(break)
MAW Heavyweight Title Tournament Match Mark Jindrak vs. Jesse Barr In another amazing upset, Barr pinned Jindrak with a REVERSE BODY PRESS. After the match, Shocker and Rey Bucanero attacked Jesse and clobbered him with a chair. Bucanero was setting up Jesse for the BUCA STORM on the chair when Sandy Barr rushed to the ring with MAW officials to halt the attack.
(break)
Gier: What an amazing turn of events, here, tonight. High Society has definitely made their presence felt. We have one more round in the round robin tournaments but the question remains, will there be anyone healthy enough to compete. Now we have the final match in our contest to determine which is the better developmental territory, North Star Wrestling or Mid America Wrestling.
Karl Gotch and Rene Goulet vs. Justin Credible & Canadian Wrecker Credible had Goulet pinned with a flying body press when the Wrecking Crew and John Tolos appeared at ringside and distracted Credible. While Credible was distracted, Goulet recovered and went to the top. Tolos handed him a pipe and Goulet nailed Credible with the pipe from the top rope, busting Credible open and getting Goulet disqualified. The Canadian Wrecker went ballistic, grabbed a chair and started swinging. Gotch and Goulet hightailed it to the back as the Wrecker chased Tolos and the Wrecking Crew to the back swinging the chair wildly.
(break)
Gier: This situation between the Crew, Tolos and the Canadian Wrecker become more intense by the match. Speaking of intense, it’s time for our bull rope on a pole match.
Bull Rope on a Pole Match George “The Animal” Steele vs. Black Bart Bart was the first to get the whip and lashed Steele with it. Steele was able to gain possession of the whip briefly but Bart delivered a low blow and got it back. Bart continued to lash Steele then went for a pin. Steele kicked out and the battle continued. Bart finally landed the TEXAS TRASH COMPACTOR and secured the victory over a severely lashed and bloddy Steele.
(break)
Gier: That last match certainly wasn’t for the weak at heart. Now we will conclude our round robin tournaments.
MAW Tag Team Title Tournament Match “Original” Midnight Express (Dennis Condry & Randy Rose w/Angelo Poffo) vs. Samoan Island Tribe Alofa pinned Condrey after a SAMOAN DROP.
(break)
MAW Heavyweight Title Tournament Match Haku vs. Mark Jindrak Haku pinned Jindrak after a CRESCENT KICK. After the match, Shocker and Rey Bucanero attacked Haku with a chair. Bucanero delivered a BUCA STORM on the chair then he and Shocker followed it up with a con-chair-to on Haku before officials were able to enter the ring.
(break)
Gier: Holy cow! What carnage we’ve seen tonight, mainly at the hands of High Society. And . . . oh my goodness, here they come.
Jindrak: I told everyone earlier we will not be dictated to. As you’ve seen tonight, we have taken out the men who represent authority in this territory. We’ve sent them both to the hospital. Which, by the way, is the same thing we’ll do to anyone that gets in our way. Including these gentlemen that have made their way to ringside.
(The Wrecking Crew and John Tolos have come to ringside.)
Tolos: Look, we have no beef with you Jindrak so why don’t you just take your merry band and hit the bricks.
(High Society and the Crew enter into a brief stare down before High Society returns to the back without incident.)
Canadian Wrecker!!! I don’t know who you are . . . yet . . . but when I find out, believe me, I will definitely have my revenge. As for tonight, the Crew is going to cut our losses. Wayne is going to the hospital to get his head looked at, all because of you Canadian Wrecker. You ruined our chances at that tag team gold . . . and for that you will pay.
Gier: Wow! The Wrecking Crew has forfeited their last match. That means the Tough Studs are our new tag team champions. I’m getting word from the dressing room that Sandy and Jesse Barr are standing by. They’re scheduled to face off in the final match of the heavyweight round robin. If Jesse wins, he will surprisingly be the new MAW Heavyweight Champion. Let’s go to the Barrs in the dressing room.
(Sandy and Jesse Barr are in the dressing room interview area.)
Sandy: What do you mean surprisingly? My boy has all the right stuff to be champion anywhere he goes. And because of that, I’m forfeiting our match and he has now reached his real potential as the champion of this territory. I’m so proud of you son.
Jesse: Thanks dad. That means a lot to me.
(Jesse looks to be getting emotional as we head back to Dan Gier at ringside.)
Gier: Well, doesn’t that just beat all. Our final matches of both tournaments have been forfeited. I guess that means after this break we’ll be in the ring to crown our new champions.
(break)
(Dan Gier is in the ring with Sandy & Jesse Barr and the Tough Studs.)
Gier: Welcome back. It is now my privilege to present the MAW Tag Team Champions the Tough Studs – “Tennessee Stud” Ron Fuller and “Tough” Tony Borne.
(An MAW official hands the Tough Studs their belts.)
Fuller: Thank you. I’ve been wrestling a long time and just knowing that I still have enough left in my tank to team up with a helluva wrestler like Tony and be a productive tag team is just a testament that you might be able to take a man out of wrestling but you can’t take the wrestling out of the man.
Borne: I’ve had a lot of people ask why I’m still around. They say I’m washed up. This is proof that they're dead wrong. I plan on using these belts as a stepping stone to bigger and better things.
Gier: And now I’d like to present to you the new MAW Heavyweight Champion Jesse Barr.
(An MAW official hands Jesse Barr his belt. Barr looks at in and seems to be welling up with tears.)
Jesse: Thank you so much. You don’t know how much this belt means to me. I’ve worked my entire career to wear the 25 pounds of gold. (pause as Sandy whispers something to Jesse) Oh sorry, it just feels like 25 pounds. As I was saying I’ve worked my entire career to wear the eight pounds of gold and now that I’ve reached the pinnacle I will try to uphold what this symbol of excellence means. And I have so many people to thank. First off, I’d like to thank my dad, who’s supported me my entire career. I’d like to thank MAW Upper Management for giving me a chance. I’d like to thank all the great men that I faced here tonight. I’d like to thank the LWA and the entire wrestling community for everything they go through day in and day out.
(Music starts to play)
We wrestle all but maybe 50 days out of the year. The blood, sweat and tears and some of us . . . ok I’m wrapping it up . . . the blood sweat and tears we go though to maybe . . . maybe someday be rewarded with a belt like this . . . the feeling is just immeasurable. Thank you again.
Gier: We’re out of time. Good night.

[glow=red,2,300]MAW LIVE[/glow] 3-21-08 Memorial Hall Kansas City, KS
(MAW Live intro)
(Dan Gier is in the ring with a mic.)
Gier: Good evening, it’s time for another edition of MAW Live. I’m your host Dan Gier. We had a great card at Hometown Throwdown, a very successful first supercard, but it did come at a cost. Both “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan and Haku are not here tonight as a result of the injuries they sustained last Sunday. Take a look.
(Footage from Hometown Throwdown) Haku pinned Jindrak after a CRESCENT KICK. After the match, Shocker and Rey Bucanero attacked Haku with a chair. Bucanero delivered a BUCA STORM on the chair then he and Shocker followed it up with a con-chair-to on Haku before officials were able to enter the ring.
Sweetan was disqualified for ramming Jindrak into the ringpost.
Now, Jindrak did not win the title on that night. Jesse Barr is actually your new MAW Heavyweight Champion and his first title defense will take place tonight against another winner from Hometown Throwdown, Black Bart. But that’s not tonight’s main event. Oh no, tonight’s main event will involve a man that took a beating at Hometown Throwdown but has been appointed tonight’s honorary Upper Management spokesperson. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome George “The Animal” Steele.
(Steele comes to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd.)
These people sure love you, Animal.
Steele: That they do. Now I’m not used to being in this ring without being completely unorthodox and out of control so I’ll make my statements brief. In tonight’s main event, I will select two partners and we will take on High Society and try to make them pay for what they did to Bob Sweetan and Haku. But rest assured, when those two return next week, they’ll exact some revenge of their own. Thanks and enjoy the show.
(break)
Gier: Welcome back. I’m really not sure who George “The Animal” Steele has selected as partners but I guess we’ll find out later tonight.
Samu vs. Jim Powers Powers pinned Samu with a POWERSLAM.
(break)
Alofa vs. Sandy Barr Alofa was counted out after Barr gave him a piledriver on the concrete outside the ring.
Gier: Guess Alofa’s head wasn’t hard enough to protect him from that move.
(break)
Gier: The Tough Studs had a fantastic showing at Hometown Throwdown and were rewarded with the MAW Tag Team Titles. Their first defense will be against a team they defeated on their way to those titles.
MAW Tag Team Title Match “Original” Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Ravishing” Randy Rose w/Angelo Poffo) vs. MAW Tag Team Champions Tough Studs (“Tennessee Stud” Ron Fuller & “Tough” Tony Borne) Condrey was disqualified when he rammed Borne into the steel ring post outside the ring after the ref warned him not to.
(break)
Gier: Bob Sweetan and Haku were not the only ones to be met with injuries at Hometown Throwdown.
(Footage from Hometown Throwdown) Alofa pinned Bloom after Bloom missed a flying body press.
That masked man was revealed to be the Canadian Wrecker and he was definitely pissed off at the Crew and Tolos. Tonight a Singapore cane match as been signed but I don’t think that’s going to come close to resolving the bad blood that lies between these two teams.
Singapore Cane Match Wrecking Crew (Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom w/John Tolos) vs. Justin Credible & Canadian Wrecker Credible grabbed the cane first and crushed Enos with it, getting a two very close near falls. Credible then missed a flying cross body block and was hit by a WRECKING BALL. The Canadian Wrecker broke up the pin but a second WRECKING BALL and CW wasn’t able to make the save. Enos pinned Credible. After the match, Tolos nailed CW with a chair and the Crew continued to deliver WRECKING BALLS to Credible. Officials came to the ring but Tolos kept them at bay. When the Crew was finished Credible was unconscious in the ring.
(break)
Gier: John Tolos and the Wrecking Crew has joined us at ringside.
Tolos: You’re d**n right. Credible, Wrecker, today you got what you had coming to ya. Wrecker, I’ve now got a pretty good idea who you are and if continue to fly in my airspace, you’re in for a world of hurt.
Gier: Who is the Canadian Wrecker?
(Tolos rears back as if to hit Gier, who flinches, then leaves with the Crew in tow.)
MAW Heavyweight Title Match Black Bart vs. MAW Heavyweight Champion Jesse Barr (w/Sandy Barr) Barrs reign as champ was short lived as Bart pinned him after a piledriver to win the title. Sandy looked very disappointed at ringside.
(break)
Gier: George “The Animal” Steele is in the ring and it looks like he’s being joined by Grizzly Smith and Luke Brown. Those two men have wrestled as a team called the Kentuckians many years ago. Is that the best The Animal could find to help him tonight?
George “The Animal” Steele & The Kentuckians (Grizzly Smith & Luke Brown) vs. High Society (Mark Jindrak, Shocker & Rey Bucanero) Jindrak made this a short match, nearly immediately pinning Brown after the MARK OF EXCELLENCE. After the match, Jindrak grabbed a mic.
Jindrak: Is this the best the Upper Management could come up with? A couple of has beens and a never was? My god, I didn’t realize that Upper Management would become that desperate when we took out their front line. Look, I told you High Society would not be dictated to. I feel we have made our point. Now, I demand what is rightfully mine and that is the MAW Heavyweight Title. Bart I saw what you did tonight and congratulations. Now do the right thing and bring that title out here and lay it at my feet.
(pause as crowd continues to boo)
Bart, I know you’re back there. Get that black, gangrenous ass out here and lay that belt at my feet you no good, lazy, lard ass!
(Bart finally appeared and came down to the ring. Bart stepped through the ropes, carrying his belt, and stared Jindrak straight in the eye. Bart looked down at the belt then back at Jindrak. Then Bart spit tobacco right in Jindraks face and the fight was on. This brought Steele back to the ring along with MAW officials.
