Tuesday Night 1/1/2008 PWR (Pro Wrestling Redemption) PPV "Lessons Learned" Live from New Jersey's Continental Airlines Arena
Savage T pinned SD Jones with a top rope cross body block
George South and Danny Doring wrestled a mat classic, with reversals and chain wrestling galore. The match ended in a 20-minute time limit draw.
In a bout to determine the new PWR Woman's Champion, Sensational Sherri Martel pinned Ida Mae Martinez; following back-to-back TOP ROPE SPLASHES! SHERRI is the new PWR Women's champion.
Making his PWR debut, Brad Armstrong defeated Justin Credible after Credible was DISQUALIFIED, after delivering a vicious SINGAPORE CANE SHOT to Armstrong's head. Credible was infuriated at the decision and proceeded to deliver Cane shots to Armstrong's body until PWR officials entered the ring to save him.
INTERVIEW SEGMENT: Wild Red Berry introduces to newest members of his "Pain Safari"...none other than KENDO NAGASAKI. Berry then goes on to say that it would be in the best interest of KAMALA the Ugandan Giant to join the "Pain Safari, which consists of the Kangaroos and Nagasaki. There is a short pause and SUDDENLY, a long African Spear strikes Nagasaki's headgear; imbedding itself deep in the front wire. An infuriated Nagasaki screams something in Japanese and stalks off...
Berry: "So I guess that's a no?"
Kendo Nagasaki pins Kamala following the GREEN MIST...After the match, Red Berry and the Kangaroos storm the ring and all four take turns with chairshots to Kamala's head, bloodying the Ugandan Giant and leaving him unconcious in the ring.
In a wild upset, Wild Red Berry pins Dick Hutton following a SMASH WITH CANE. After the match, the "Pain Safari" attack Hutton before Kamala makes the save, wielding his Ugandan Spear to chase off the atackers. Afterwards, Hutton extends his hand in friendship to Kamala, who looks perplexed at the gesture before dropping to his knees, taking Hutton's hand...and BITING IT! Hutton pulls his hand back, shouts obscenities at Kamala and walks to the back. (It was later explained to Hutton that Kamala's act was a Ugandan act of friendship!!
Jushin Thunder Liger was scheduled to defend his PWR Cruiserweight Championship against Sabu, but due to Sabu's two-card injury, he was replaced by Marty Jannetty. AND IN AN INCREDIBLE UPSET...Marty Jannety used a Superkick to pin Liger and win the RPW Cruiserweight championship! It was a great match, with both sides giving it to each other throughout; but the dice were on Marty's side tonight, with two insanely low pin rolls; the latter scoring the victory!
After the match, Liger respectfuly shook hands with Jannetty in the ring and B. Brian Blair and Jumpin Jim Brunzell poured NON-ALCOHOLIC champagne over Marty's head in the locker room.
The Killer Bees defeated the Kangaroos to retain their PWR Tag Team Championship after the duo hit the BEE STING on Heffernan and Red Berry interfered; causing the Roos to be disqualified. Kendo Nagasaki joined Berry in the ring as the beat down commenced... Bedlam ensued before order was restored, with various PWR wrestlers and officials ordering Berry's "Pain Safari" to leave the ring or risk fines and suspensions.
After the match's conclusion PWR commish Paul Dangerly signed the two tag teams to a steel cage match at a later date. Wild Red Berry would be placed in a small cage atop the cage..and if the Bees win, they will get 5 minutes alone in the cage with Berry!
And in the MAIN EVENT...PWR CHAMPION Antonino Rocca and #1 contender Killer Kowalski battled to a double-disqualification in a lengthy battle that raged on outside the ring numerous times during the bout. Rocca retained the title as both men battled through the crowd and out the door of the Continental Airlines Arena...

Friday January 4, 2007 results for "Friday Night's All Right For Fighting Too" Television Taping
Live from The Manhattan Center in NYC
Savage T pinned S.D. Jones with the VERTIBREAKER
Ida Mae Martinez won her match over Sensational Sherri Martel after Sherri was DISQUALIFIED for slamming Martinez's head into the ring post
Danny Doring bested George South with the DANACONDA
Justin Credible and Brad Armstrong battled to a no contest after their street fight got completely out of hand!!! Both men battled all over the arena and out the door into the parking lot!
CAMERA ON PWR's Lord Alfred Hayes, who is wearing a military style gas mask! "Lord Alfred Hayes here..and we're in search of PWR Television Champion Larry Zbyszko, who is scheduled to defend his title here tonight against one Marcus Bagwell..better known as "Buff" to all you great wrestling fans out there in TV land....So I'm heading up the hall here in the back offices of the Manhattan Center in hopes of finding Mr Zbyszko for a short interview before his big match tonight. Hayes opens up the MEN'S ROOM door to find Zbyszko rummaging through the garbage.
Zbyszko: "Leave it to me to find the only men's room in New York City that's actually clean! Hey, whoa..look who it is...Wait, are the British Invading? And me without my krumpets!
Hayes: "If you don't know by now Larry, the odor that is emanating off your body is enough to make the paint in this lavaratory peel off the walls. I'm wearing this to keep the integrity of this interview..as well as to keep down my egg and baguette sandwich from lunch."
Zbyszko: "Well you all better get used to that smell Lord Littlebrook from $hittlebrook because I'm not going to...what word do they use in your country..oh yeah..bathe...until somebody beats me for this title...and I don't see that happenning anytime soon."
Hayes: "That's absurd Larry! Not bathe? Are you serious man? You'll put your opponents at a distinct disadvantage. You'll make fans near ringside weak to thie stomachs. God have mercy on the referee..."
ZBYSZKO: "I'm just keeping with tradition you walking corpse. Hey did they give you a bowl of soup with that suit? When hockey teams are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, nobody shaves right? When the Boston Red Sox won the series for the first time in what..a bajillion years, there was a player that wore the same socks for like two months...You could call this another sports superstition..."
Hayes: "I think I smell you through this mask Larry...my eyes are beginning to water."
Zbyszko: "Then I guess this interview's just about over then isn't it. ZBYSZKO RUMMAGES THROUGH ANOTHER GARBAGE, FINDS A HALF EATEN BURGER AND STUFFS IT IN HIS TIGHTS!
Hayes: "Oh..that's ghastly Larry."
Zbyszko: Looking slightly embarassed. "Hey, to be the champion, sometimes you gotta pay the price."
CUT TO COMMERCIAL:
Segment featuring the rising feud between Red Berry's Pain Safari and the Killer Bees
Interview with PWR champion Antonino Rocca is interrupted by the appearance of Rob Van Dam.
"Hey Constantino...you know who I am...FANS CHANT IN UNISON ROB...VAN..DAM..."Hey man, I'm not looking to disrespect you or nothin', but your matches..well..they're old school boring to say the least...If you want, I could help you add a little excitement to your matches and then..just maybe...these great PWR fans might mark out for you like they do me...ROB VAN DAM (CROWD CHANTS AGAIN IN UNISON."
Rocca approaches Van Dam with a stone cold glare and smacks him in the mouth before walking off...
Van Dam: "So that's how it's gonna be huh? Well then it's on..it's on like Donkey Kong."
Cut to commercial
Main Event:
Larry Zbyszko pins Buff Bagwell with a PILEDRIVER to retain the PWR TV TITLE. Brutus Beefcake was at ringside to support Bagwell, but his interference helped cost him the match. While Bagwell was hunched over in the middle of the ring, due in part to Larry's stench...Beefcake approached Buff and was immediately sucker punched by his tag team partner!
Bagwell grabs the mic: "You know something Brutus, I think I figured out why I'm not successful here in the PWR...and the reason is...you! You wreck everything that I try to do, so consider our partnership finished...Bagwell clubs the fallen Beefcake over the head with the microphone and heads to the back...

Great card. Stuff with Zbyszko continues to be highly entertaining but I have one question. How does one get disqualified in a street fight?

Well, the correct term should have been that they battled to a no-contest.
