National 9 Suites in Idaho Falls Idaho"Mean" Gene Okerlund: Welcome, everybody, to this, the inaugural edition of Big Sky Wrestling. I'm "Mean" Gene Okerlund and with me today is none other than Grant "Throwing Toasters" Baciocco. Grant "Throwing Toasters" Baciocco: Well let me tell ya something "Mean" Gene (I've always wanted to say that).... The Masked Commissioner has got this territory rolling quickly with an announcement earlier this week. Our little fed needs a champion and tonight we'll find out who one of the contenders will be in an eight man tournament. Gene: And next week, the second contender will be chosen in battle royal and he will fight tonight's winner at the end of the month for the Big Sky World Heavyweight Championship. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Grant: On with the show! The Bushwackers vs. Brooklyn Brawler and Buck ZumhoffThe match starts with Butch Miller and Buck Zumhoff. Butch goes for a falling fist drop and misses and Buck tries a power clothesline and Butch blocks it. The action continues like this. Butch gets annoyed and tags out to Luke who tosses Zumhoff into the turnbuckle. The Bushwackers tag in and out and double team but Zumhoff eventually manages to make a tag and the Brawler botches a body slam. Butch finally connects with his fist drop. Later, Zumhoff is mowed down by the Battering Ram but the pin is broken by the Brawler. Luke argues with the referee long enough for the Brawler to clothesline him from behind. Happy with his new found, momentum, the Brawler tries for a turnbuckle splash, misses and finds himself on the ring side floor. After a few whips into the post, the Bushwackers get a warning and they finish the Brawler off in the ring with another Battering Ram. Winner: The BushwackersChampionship Contenders Tournament: Round 1Sean O'Haire vs. Mikey WhipwreckMikey starts on offense with a back drop and an ensiguiri. O'Haire is flustered and leaves the ring early to a round of boos. Whipwreck tries a splash from the apron and is caught and tossed hard on the concrete floor. O'Haire waves off a warning and tosses Mikey back in. Later, Sean powers out of an arm drag attempt and tosses Mikey over the top rope. He piledrives Mikey on the concrete floor and leaves him there for a count out win. Winner: Sean O'HaireDynamite Kid vs. Don KernodleKernodle blocks a forearm from Dynamite and lifts him for a bodyslam. Dynamite goes over his shoulder. Dynamite follows up with a snap suplex and tombstone piledriver. Another snap suplex gives way to a quick pin attempt by the Kid. Kernodle doesn't kick out in time. Dynamite Kid gets a quick victory and Kernodle is beside himself. Winner: Dynamite KidDavey Boy Smith vs. Wilbur SnyderDavey Boy goes for an immediate win by victory roll. Snyder kicks out and leaves the ring. Smith follows him and slams Wilbur's head into the apron. He flings Snyder into the rail and Davey Boy is disqualified. Winner: Wilbur SnyderGene: Davey Boy didn't get away with half of what O'Haire did. Something is definitely going on here. Big Bully Busick vs. Blue Meanie Busick attacks Meanie on the outside and slams him on the ramp with a chair. He clamps the stump puller on the Meanie in the ring and Meanie passes out. Winner: Big Bully BusickChampionship Contenders Tournament: Round 2Sean O'Haire vs. Dynamite KidDynamite takes O'Haire down with a back drop. He follows with a lariat, chops, and a Boston Crab. He hits O'Haire with a snap suplex and attempts a scoop slam but the Kid can't pick up him up. O'Haire goes for a suplex but Dynamite floats over his shoulder and both go to the ring floor. There is a big brawl on the outside but no disqualifications are announced. Dynamite is slammed onto the concrete. O'Haire continues with a heavy offense, knee smashes, kidney punch, and then an unsuccessful pin. O'Haire hits Dynamite with the Widowmaker and Dynamite doesn't kick out. The biggest round of boos so far tonight. Winner: Sean O'HaireGrant: That was the match of the night folks! Wilbur Snyder vs. Big Bully BusickBusick tries to end it early with and abstretch but Wilbur knows how to get out of it. Wilbur doesn't know how to get out of the Stump Puller. Busick with his second quick win. Winner: Big Bully BusickGrant: The way Busick is going, he's likely to take O'Haire out and win this thing, especially with the grueling match O'Haire just had with the Dynamite Kid. Championship Contenders Tournament: Final RoundBig Bully Busick vs. Sean O'HaireBusick chops into Sean and tries a power move but O'Haire powers out. A Savatte kick and Sean Bomb put Busick on his back. O'Haire goes for the pin and gets it. Winner: Sean O'HaireGene: Sean O'Haire has qualified for the championship match. Busick's steam seemed to run out in round 3 but you can bet the Masked Commissioner will look into tonight's strange happenings. Grant: Busick's bull run through the first two rounds and then losing the big one PLUS Davey Boy getting shafted by the senior official. The Masked Commissioner does have a lot on his plate. Gene: Tune in next week to find out who O'Haire will face at the end of the month for the Heavyweight Championship. Dynamite Kid, 2 Davey Boy Smith, Bushwacker Butch Bushwacker Luke, Buck Zumhoff, Blue Meanie, Mikey Whipwreck, and tonight's winner Sean O'Haire will compete in an over the top rope battle royal. The winner will fight O'Haire. Grant And if O'Haire wins the battle royal, he is the new champ and will get to choose his opponent for January 26th.

[/img] In response to a comment made by former partner Mark Jindrak at Mid-America Wrestling:Mark Jindrak - "It’s my first title in the LWA. I’m sure I'll remember it forever. But I have a message for a former friend of mine. Hey, Sean O’Haire! You see this? (Holds up belt) You think you’re better than me? You think you don’t need me? Well looks like I don’t need you. You steaming pile of crap! You think you can make it on your own and leave me in your dust? Just look what I hold in my hands."Sean O'Haire replies: Where's all this hostility coming from Mark? Are you mad because I decided to sign up with Big Sky and you were left on the free agents list? Are you upset because Big Sky didn't offer you a contract? I'm glad to see you've got a belt, man. I'm on my way up as well. Who did you beat? You eliminated Mr. JL and Bob Sweetan in a battle royal. Good job man! I'm proud of you. I just got through beating the crap out of the Dynamite Kid and that was one of three matches. Don't be too annoyed when I "follow in your footsteps" by winning a belt next week by throwing people out of a wrestling ring. Always good to hear from you.

[/img] Davey Boy Smith's Complaint: I don't know what kind of federation you're running, Masked Commissioner, but where I come from, the officials are not afraid of thugs like Big Bully Busick and Sean O'Haire. Busick could have been disqualified several times during the qualifier tournament but the referee let every infraction slide. I stepped slightly out of bounds and I'm told to hit the showers. Call it straight, ref!

[/img] "Mean" Gene Okerlund: Hello, folks. This is "Mean" Gene Okerlund. I asked five Big Sky Wrestling superstars their feelings on Sean O'Haire's big win in the qualifier tournament last week and his advancement to the title match at the end of the month. Here's what they had to say: How do you feel about Sean O'Haire winning the qualifier tournament?Dynamite Kid: Sean O'Haire beat me clean in our match but his success in the rest of the tournament and the antics of Big Bully Busick should be looked into by the commissioner. Don Kernodle: The guy laid waste to three good men to get to the top of the heap. Those are the facts. Big Bully Busick: There's been a lotta whinin' going on about Sean winnin' tha tournament. Alls I gotsta say is he's tops in my book and anybody who disagrees with me can go peddle their papers somewhere's else. Wilbur Snyder: It amazes me sometimes what villains get away with nowadays. He's just lucky he didn't face me in the final round. You can thank the Bully for that, O'Haire. Bushwacker Luke: Eeeeeaaaghyaaay!! Whose this O'Haire bloke? Is he in the battle royal? If so, me and cousin Butch are going to mangle him! Don't matter who he is!

[/img] From the desk of the Masked Commissioner:It has come to my attention that Big Bully Busick has used his bullying expertise on one of our referees. An annonymous informant has come to me saying that the referee in the tournament matches involving Busick and Davey Boy Smith was intimidated and became biased during these two wrestlers' matches. The referee has been reprimanded. Busick however hasn't been punished yet. We are a small federation and we need all the active talent we can muster so a suspension isn't really an option. I can't remove Busick from tomorrow's battle royal because he isn't scheduled to be in it. There's no belt to threaten loss of title shot with. I'll let the situation slide for the moment but beginning next month, Big Bully Busick will be punished. I'll announce the punishment when I decide what it'll be.

Kootenai County Fairgrounds Event Center in Coeur d'Alene Idaho"Mean" Gene Okerlund: Welcome, everybody, to Big Sky Wrestling. I'm "Mean" Gene Okerlund and with me as always is Grant "Throwing Toasters" Baciocco. Grant "Throwing Toasters" Baciocco: Tonight we're going to find out who will be facing Sean O'Haire for the Heavyweight Championship on the 26th. We'll have a ring of eight trying their best to toss each other over the top rope. Who will survive? Watch and find out. Gene: Let's go to the ring for the opening match. Big Bully Busick vs. Brooklyn BrawlerBusick's matches have been consistent. He started the match with a thumb to the eye and ended it with a shoulder breaker. There was absolutely no offense from the Brawler who went down in less then five moves. Winner: Big Bully BusickAs the Brooklyn Brawler leaves the ramp, Big Bully Busick celebrates. The Brawler is stopped by the Masked Commissioner who takes a microphone and turns to Busick in the ring. Masked Commissioner: I told you yesterday I'd figure out what punishment to give you Busick. I thought long and hard on it last night and I think I came up with the perfect solution. Next month we're adding two new titles to the mix: The TV Championship and the Tag Team Championship. Now, I'm not going to bar you from competing for the TV belt but I am making the Tag belt mandatory for you and I've already picked you're partner, Busick. You're going to tag with the Brooklyn Brawler, not Sean O'Haire. Brooklyn Brawler seems insulted that the Masked Commissioner would consider this a punishment. The Commissioner ends his speech, walks to the announce table and hands a piece of paper to Mean Gene Okerlund. He then leaves the arena. Don Kernodle vs. Wilbur SnyderKernodle went on defense early in the match taking numerous back elbows and stomps. A cobra twist broke Wilbur's streak of "scientific" moves but Snyder was able to break it. Wilbur went on offense with airplane spins and body slams. Wilbur then went at Kernodle with a series of abdominal stretch attempts. Kernodle grabbed the rope on the last attempt but the referee didn't see it. Snyder wrenched Kernodle back to the center of the ring and won the match by submission. Winner: Wilbur SnyderGene: The Masked Commissioner handed me a note earlier describing next weeks match line up in Nampa Idaho. Cousin Luke (w/ Cousin Butch) vs. Wilbur Snyder (w/ Don Kernodle) Buck Zumhoff vs. Mikey Whipwreck Blue Meanie vs. Brooklyn Brawler British Bulldogs vs. Sean O'Haire and Big Bully Busick Gene: Kernodle and Snyder might not get along after tonight's match. The note also mentions a visitor.... Battle Royal: Dynamite Kid, Davey Boy Smith, Bushwacker Butch, Bushwacker Luke, Buck Zumhoff, Blue Meanie, Sean O'Haire and Mikey Whipwreck. Blue Meanie is almost eliminated early when Dynamite Kid ducks his clothesline. Buck Zumhoff and Butch Miller nearly eliminate each other after a knee lift from Zumhoff. Davey Boy Smith tries to capitolize but Buck smashes him with a gut punch. Meanwhile Dynamite Kid hits Butch Miller with a snap suplex. He then tosses Butch over the top rope. Luke Williams almost joins his cousin twice when Mikey Whipwreck and Davey Boy Smith double team him. Buck breaks it up and pounds on Davey Boy. Zumhoff is thrown out. Whipwreck hits a tornado ddt on Blue Meanie. O'Haire tries a gorilla press to eliminate Dynamite Kid but the Kid slips behind Sean and tries an elimination himself but has no luck. Blue Meanie goes in for the save but a savate kick from O"Haire sends him to the floor. O'Haire then grabs Luke Williams and tosses him over. Sean has the momentum and takes a swing at Dynamite Kid. He misses and the Kid hits him in the chin with a dropkick. Sean O'Haire topples out to the floor. On the other side of the ring, Davey Boy dodges an ensiguiri by Mikey Whipwreck and then lifts him in a gorilla press. He tosses Whipwreck to the floor. The final two in the battle royal are Davey Boy Smith and the Dynamite Kid! The Dynamite Kid reverses a hip lock and snap suplexes Davey Boy. He performs a handful of German suplexes but his momentum dies when Davey Boy catches him in a power slam. Davey Boy tries a few moves with no success and misses a victory roll attempt. Dynamite follows up with headbutts and chops. They both go for an elimination attempt at the same time and both topple over the ropes. Dynamite Kid holds onto the top rope and Davey Boy hits the floor. Winner: Dynamite KidGene: There you have it. On the 26th, two men will fight for the Heavyweight Title. It'll be Sean O'Haire against the Dynamite Kid. Grant: I wouldn't have believed it if you told me but I saw it with my own eyes. The battle royal really ended that way. Gene: For Grant Baciocco, this is "Mean" Gene Okerlund. Keep watching the Sky! [/img]

I'm really liking what your doing in Big Sky Wrestling country, I just started looking at some Portlan Wrestling discs and it sorta reminds me of that...

Things are looking good in here. The Brawler continues to get no respect wherever he is at.

That's the fun thing about the Brawler. You don't have to show him much respect Thanks for looking.
