Kamata follows with the Camel Clutch and Owen, in obvious pain, couldn’t make it to the ropes. 3. Spiros Arion def. Tiger Jeet Singh w/ JR Foley by dq after Singh wouldn’t release the Stranglehold. Even match-up but Foley gets involved to give his man the advantage. Foley distracts the referee as Singh whacks Arion over the head with his sword hilt to set-up the finish. 4. The Technicians/Mr JL def. The Royal Kangaroos/Don Kent by dq after Don Kent smashed JL with his wooden boomerang. Kent got frustrated after JL kept kicking out of Kent’s pin attempts and resorted to smashing his foe with the boomerang. 5. DLJ/Edouardo Carpentier def. Don Muraco/Mongolian Stomper w/ JR Foley after Carpentier nails Stomper with the Flying Somersault for the win. Whenever DLJ was in the ring, Muraco and Stomper wouldn’t tag each other in; as they were focused on trying to put DLJ down in hopes of earning a title shot. Stampede Wrestling #18/01 Mar 2008 Red Deer Arena; Red Deer, AB Broadcasted on 1Canada AM Networks 1. ‘Diamond’ Timothy Flowers def. ‘Irish’ Mickey Doyle after Doyle misses a deathjump kneedrop and Flowers locks on a sloppy version of Adrian Street’s London Bridge Leglock. Doyle, however, was in tremendous pain and submitted immediately. Doyle survived an early Flowers’ Piledriver and seemed on the verge of winning before missing the deathjump. 2. Don Kent def. Mr JL by countout after Kent piledrives JL on the arena floor. JL comes out intent on punishing Kent but JL falls to the veteran’s trick and ends up eating the ringpost after throwing Kent to the floor. Kent follows with the piledriver for the countout win. Kent continues his attack afterwards but The Technicians show up to chase Kent away. 3. The Royal Kangaroos def. The Oates Brothers to advance to the semifinals of the tag team tournament. The Kangaroos hit a Battering Ram on Ted Oates. Boyd makes the pin as Charles keeps Brother Jerry from making the save. Excellent showing by the Oates Brothers but it wasn’t enough for them to advance in the tournament. 4. The Technicians def. Mystery of the Orient w/ JR Foley after Gagne puts Kamata asleep with the Gagne Sleeper (+2). Foley was a non-factor in this one and Singh tried his best to keep his team in the match but it wasn’t enough. The Technicians move on to the semifinal round of the tag tournament and face The Royal Kangaroos. 5. Edouardo Carpentier def. ‘Dr D’ David Schultz in dominating fashion with the Reverse Bodypress. Match lasted less than 3-minutes as Carpentier capitalizes on a mistake by ‘Dr D’ and hits the Reverse Bodypress for the win. Carpentier is on top of his game and has been for the past month. 6. In a non-title bout, Don Leo Jonathan destroys Bugsy McGraw with 3 straight Mormon Swings. DLJ proves why he’s the champion as this match was over in under 3-minutes as well. It looks like DLJ and Edouardo Carpentier are on a collision course for the third time. 7. The Ortons def. Billy Robinson/Spiros Arion after Bob Orton Jr puts Spiros Arion away with the Superplex in an excellent match. Both Ortons kicked out multiple times after Robinson would hit his flurry of finishers. Senior makes the hot tag to Junior ultimately finishing Arion off with the Superplex. The Ortons move to the semifinal round of the tournament. 8. Sam Oliver Bass/Phil Hickerson def. The Ghetto Blasters after Hickerson smashes Bad News Brown with a chain. Scotty tries to make the save but runs right into a Running Powerslam by Bass. Bass/Hickerson move on to face The Ortons in the semifinal round of the tag team tournament.

Stampede Wrestling #19/04 Mar 2008 Exhibition Centre, Lethbridge, AB Broadcasted on 1Canada AM Networks 1. The Mongolian Stomper w/ JR Foley def. Mike Jackson after hitting Jackson with two consecutive ‘loaded boots’ to pick up the win. Foley distracts the referee as Stomper ‘loads’ his boot and catches Jackson square in the face. Jackson falls backwards and gets caught up in the ropes. Stomper follows by kicking Jackson right in the face again for the finish. 2. Brian St John/Spike Huber def. ‘Irish’ Mickey Doyle/Mr JL with a running clothesline by Brian St John on Mickey Doyle. Excellent match as St John/Huber, known as The Florida Express, make their Stampede debut a successful one. --Before our next match, Ed Whalen brings out the new Commonwealth mid-heavyweight champion, Dean Malenko, and Owen Hart. Malenko says it was great winning the belt in front of knowledgeable wrestling fans and then tells Hart sometimes you need to be more than a ‘Mr Goody Two-Shoes’ to be a champion. Owen says that sometimes it’s better to have the honor and respect of the fans and then tells Malenko that he’s a champion representing the Stampede fans. As Whalen introduces their opponents, Malenko mocks Owen behind his back. 3. The Petal Duo (‘Exotic’ Adrian Street/’Diamond Timothy Flowers) def. Owen Hart/Dean Malenko after Street traps Owen in the London Bridge Leglock. Malenko comes in to make the save but ‘trips’ trying to get through the ropes. Street cinches the hold down and Owen submits. Afterwards, Street gives Owen a little kiss and again seductively slides off Hart. 4. Lodi upsets Spiros Arion in surprising fashion with a cradle DDT. Arion must have been shocked by Lodi’s ‘alternative lifestyle’ antics before the match because he seemed totally unprepared for this match. Afterwards, Adrian Street/Timothy Flowers come out and congratulate Lodi on his win. Street whispers into Lodi’s ear and Lodi happily follows The Petal Duo to the back. 5. Bugsy McGraw def. ‘Bulldog’ Don Kent by dq after The Royal Kangaroos hit the ring and beat Bugsy down. McGraw had just hit his Big Splash finisher on Kent before The Roos came to Kent’s rescue. The Technicians run out to chase the heel trio away. 6. Don Leo Jonathan/Edouardo Carpentier def. Mystery of the Orient w/ JR Foley after Singh is dq’ed when he wouldn’t release the Stranglehold on DLJ. Back and forth match with lots of action. Carpentier stood out but taken out of the match after Foley blasts him with Stomper’s Flexxer. Singh locks a distracted DLJ in the Stranglehold and wouldn’t let go. Afterwards, DLJ makes a request to face Tiger Jeet Singh one-on-one. 7. Billy Robinson def. Don Muraco w/ JR Foley after Robinson hits his flurry of finishers and pins Muraco with the Tombstone Piledriver. Robinson controlled the match as Muraco got very little offense in and looked over-matched. --Aftrwards, Foley brings his army to the ring for a little pep talk. Foley tells them they haven’t been carrying their weight. Foley tells them they started the new tenure at the top of the mountain but have slid all the way to the bottom. Foley tells them tonight some changes are going to be made right now. He tells Don Muraco “You’re fired!” Muraco seems flabbergasted but soon comes after Foley only to be met with Stomper’s ‘loaded boot’; sending Muraco to the floor. Foley then tells the fans a meaner, nastier Army is going to emerge and the locker room better be ready. 8. The Ortons def. Sam Oliver Bass/Phil Hickerson after Bob Orton Sr puts Sam Oliver Bass away with the Piledriver in an excellent match. Phil Hickerson tried to make the save but is stopped by Orton Jr. Only one finisher was attempted the entire match and that was Senior’s Piledriver that ended the match. The Ortons move on to the final round of the tag tournament. 9. The Technicians def. The Royal Kangaroos after interference from Don Kent backfires and Norman Frederick Charles ends up in a Gagne Sleeper (+4). Gagne/O’Connor controlled the majority of the match as they now will face The Ortons of the GLWA to determine new Stampede tag champions on March 8th.

** From the Commissioner's Office **
The LWA would like to remind Mr. Sawyer and Mr. Jaggers that they had their chance to impress the championship committee at Deuce's Wild II, and failed.
If the Outlaws and Mr. Bass and Hickerson are interested in settling things in a neutral area... the LWA would be happy to add a match between the 4 men at the Showcase invitational on the 8th... or perhaps at this month's PPV (announcement to be coming soon)

??: Somebody say sumin' 'bout 'Wildfire' Tommy Rich...
--'Wildfire' Tommy Rich walks into the camera frame...
Rich: That's right Stampede fans. Wildfire is coming to the Stampede area for the month of March! I'll be helping Gene Kiniski battle those Royal Kangaroos this Saturday night, March 8th in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan! Come out and watch 'ol Wildfire out-wrestle those boys Southern style...
--The screen fades to black for a couple of seconds before coming back up with Sam Oliver Bass in the frame...
Bass: LWA...don't worry 'bout schedulin' a match 'tween me an' 'Big' Phil versus those Outlaws. See you could schedule th' match on th' Moon an' they still wouldn't show. Those boys 'fraid real tough hombres like 'Big' Phil an' myself might take 'em behind th' woodshed an' give 'em th' whoopin' of their lives. No, let 'em play wit th' Bondage Twins fer awhile...then they might be worthy enough ta step foot in th' ring wit 'Big' Phil an' me...

Stampede Wrestling #21/8 Mar 2008 The Stampede Corrale; Calgary, AB Broadcasted on 1Canada AM Networks 1. Johnny Saint def. Mr JL after a Three-In-One to get the win. Saint dominates in this one and puts on a wrestling clinic. JL was way over-matched in this one. Afterwards, Ed Whalen interviews Saint who tells the fans that he wants Dean Malenko in the ring to finish up old business between the two. 2. ‘Big’ Phil Hickerson def. Mike Jackson in a revenge match for Hickerson. Hickerson dominates during the brief bout and finishes Jackson off with the Big Powerslam. Afterwards, Hickerson says he wants Jackson in the ring one more time to prove that Jackson’s win on Wednesday was a fluke. 3. ‘Diamond’ Timothy Flowers def. Spike Huber when Flowers takes his brass knuckles and jabs them into the throat of Huber. Huber writhes in pain as Flowers makes the pinfall. Adrian Street had come to ringside and caused a distraction that allowed Flowers’ deed to go unpunished. Street and Flowers look to continue the attack when Owen Hart, Brian St John, and new Florida Express member, Mike Graham race to the ring to make the save. This leads into our next match. 4. Owen Hart/Florida Express def. The Petal Trio after Lodi submits to Mike Graham’s Figure-Four Leglock. Lots of action as the match could have went either way as Flowers consistently kept The Trio in the match. Afterwards, Street/Flowers smashed Hart/St John/Graham with chairs. Street pulls a pair of barber shears from under the ring and cuts about 3 inches off of one side of Owen’s long blonde locks. Street flaunts Owen’s hair to the crowd as The Trio make their way to the back. 5. ‘Dr D’ David Schultz def. Bugsy McGraw in quick fashion with the Flying Corkscrew Elbow. McGraw was sluggish during the short match as backstage rumors have it the beatings McGraw has taken in the past few weeks have started to take their toll. 6. The Ghetto Blasters def. Mystery of the Orient w/ JR Foley when Brown blasts Singh with the Ghetto Blaster to pick up the win. Brown/Scotty were dominate in this one as Singh/Kamata barely got going. A fuming JR Foley storms to the back leaving Singh/Kamata in the ring. 7. Gene Kiniski/’Wildfire’ Tommy Rich def. The Royal Kangaroos after Rich pins Norman Charles with the Vertical Body Block in a short match. Rich looked very good in the ring as he could do no wrong. Kiniski never got into the match. Rich gets on the house mike and challenges The Roos for another match on Tuesday night. The Roos wave their flag and accept the match. 8. Billy Robinson def. The Mongolian Stomper w/ JR Foley when Robinson hits his trifecta of finishers finally winning with the Tombstone Piledriver. Stomper was never in the match and Foley yelled at him on the way back to the locker room, saying “I’ll get rid of you just like Muraco if you don’t shape up!” Robinson has put himself on the short list of challengers for Don Leo Jonathan’s Stampede title. 9. Sam Oliver Bass def. Edouardo Carpentier with 2 straight Running Powerslams to end Carpentier’s month long undefeated streak. Carpentier started out strong but faded in the end as Bass came back from a Flying Somersault to start his comeback. With the win, Bass has positioned himself for a title shot. 10. In the main event, The Technicians outlasted The Ortons to become the new Stampede tag team champions. Excellent action during the match as The Ortons ‘bent’ the rulebook to keep control of the match. However, they couldn’t put The Technicians away. The Ortons were double-teaming Gagne when Gagne moves out of the way of a Senior turnbuckle charge that sends Senior crashing into Junior. O’Connor hits Junior with a bodypress that sends both men crashing over the ropes to the floor. Gagne follows with the Gagne Sleeper (+3) on Senior for the win. -Afterwards as The Technicians were being awarded the tag titles by Ed Whalen, Skull Murphy/Brute Bernard hit the ring and beat the new champions down. The Technicians, overwhelmed by the brutality of the attack, are helped to the back bloodied as security has to hold the fans back from charging the ring. JR Foley comes down to the ring clapping his hands. He says that he promised a meaner, nastier Army and Skull Murphy/Brute Bernard are just the beginning.

Street delivers two crunching DDTs onto the ring apron that busts Owen open. The Florida Express clears the ring but not before Street wipes Owen’s blood across his own chest. 7. Don Leo Jonathan/Edouardo Carpentier def. Sam Oliver Bass/’Big’ Phil Hickerson after Hickerson is caught smashing Carpentier with a chain. Afterwards, Carpentier snaps and blasts Hickerson with a chair. Carpentier/Hickerson has a pull apart brawl before DLJ and Bass can separate them. --Afterwards, Tiger Jeet Singh races to the ring and nails DLJ from behind with the hilt of his sword. Singh locks DLJ in the Stranglehold and chokes the Stampede champion out before Carpentier and security can break things up. Commissioner Keith Hart comes down and tells DLJ and Singh that he will grant their petitions for a match. The match will be Saturday, 15 March and be sanctioned for the Stampede heavyweight title. 8. Skull Murphy/Brute Bernard w/ JR Foley def. Billy Robinson/’Babyface’ Don Jardine after Bernard nails Billy Robinson with the Loaded Forearm. Foley was all over the place in this one distracting the referee at will. Murphy/Bernard used this to their advantage as their use of foreign objects kept them on the offensive. Afterwards, as Murphy/Bernard continued their assault on Robinson, Jardine had enough and brought a chair into the ring. He nailed Bernard right in the mush and went to smash Murphy. However, Skull moved just in time and Jardine crushed Robinson with the shot. Jardine, realizing his mistake, helps Robinson to the back.
