Stampede Wrestling #11 Westlock Civic Centre; Westlock, AB 13 Feb 2008 1. The Technicians d. The French Canadians (LT) in a double finish as Gagne applied the Gagne Sleeper to FC #2 and Pat O’Connor applied the pressure to FC #1 with the Spinning Toehold. This match was a tune-up for their non-title match against the LWA National tag champions, Wahoo McDaniel/Jay Strongbow, on Saturday. 2. Bugsy McGraw d. ‘Big’ Phil Hickerson by dq after Hickerson is caught blasting McGraw with his chain in front of the referee. Hickerson continues his assault as he bloodies his foe before Bad News Brown and Scotty ‘The Body’ Poe chase Hickerson from the ring. 3. Sam Oliver Bass d. Spiros Arion with the Running Powerslam. Arion was dominated in this match as Bass was never in danger of losing. 4. ‘Irish’ Mickey Doyle/Johnny Saint/Scotty ‘The Body’ Poe d. Owen Hart/Dean Malenko/Mr JL after the Three-In-One by Saint on JL. Adrian Street/Timothy Flowers came down to ringside as Malenko tags out to JL. Malenko then blindsides JL with a brass knuckles shot as everyone else is distracted for the finish. 5. Edouardo Carpentier d. The Mongolian Stomper w/ JR Foley with a flying senton in a dominating performance going into Saturday’s return match against the Stampede champion, Don Leo Jonathan. Foley tried his best to help Stomper but Carpentier foiled him at every turn. It seems like Foley’s petition may fall on deaf ears after this performance by Stomper. 6. Billy Robinson d. Tiger Jeet Singh w/ JR Foley with the Tombstone Piledriver. Robinson was dominating in this match and puts Singh away with two consecutive Tombstone Piledrivers.

Stampede Wrestling #12/16 Feb 2008 The Stampede Corral; Calgary, AB Broadcasted on 1Canada AM Networks --Big night in Calgary as the Best 2/3 Falls return match between Stampede champion, Don Leo Jonathan, and his challenger, Edouardo Carpentier, is the main event. The LWA National tag champs are in town as Wahoo and ‘Chief’ Jay battle The Technicians in non-title action. Billy Robinson looks to get his hands on Don Muraco as they square off in tag action. But up first, the opening round of the Commonwealth mid-heavyweight title tournament... 1. Dean Malenko d. ‘Irish’ Mickey Doyle after Doyle submits to the Texas Cloverleaf. Doyle never backed off in the match but couldn’t put Malenko away. Malenko storms back after being down early in the match to hit a double underhook powerbomb into the Cloverleaf for the win. Malenko advances to the semifinal round. 2. Scotty ‘The Body’ Poe d. Owen Hart after the Piledriver in an excellent 32-minute bout. The match was a constant barrage of reversals and high impact spots. The first pinfall attempt by either man wasn’t made until after the 20-minute mark. After the match, both men shook hands but Scotty gets jumped by Dean Malenko in the process. Malenko busts Poe open with Scotty’s own ‘bling’ as he attempted to hurt his semifinal opponent. Owen stops the beating but Malenko just glares at Hart before stalking to the back. 3. Johnny Saint d. Mr JL in a dominating performance with the Three-In-One. The match was over in under 2-minutes as it seemed Saint was eager to put his recent string of mediocre performances behind him. Saint now faces ‘Exotic’ Adrian Street in the semifinal round. 4. ‘Big’ Phil Hickerson d. Bugsy McGraw after Sam Oliver Bass smashes McGraw with a chair as Hickerson has the referee distracted. Hickerson follows with the Big Powerslam in a bloodbath. 5. Billy Robinson/Spiros Arion d. Don Muraco/Mongolian Stomper w/ JR Foley after Robinson pins Muraco with the Tombstone Piledriver. Robinson was the man of the match in this one as he turned back both Muraco and Stomper. Muraco nearly pinned Spiros with the Hawaiian Hammer but Arion kicks out and makes the hot tag to Robinson. Robinson tosses Stomper to the floor before hitting the Tombstone Piledriver to win the match. 6. Sam Oliver Bass d. Bad News Brown by dq after Brown blatantly nails Bass with a pair of brass knuckles in front of the referee. Brown was looking for a little revenge as he continued the beating until Bass was bloodied. Phil Hickerson comes to ringside to make the save. 7. In an excellent non-title bout, The Technicians defeat the LWA National tag team champions, Wahoo McDaniel/’Chief’ Jay Strongbow when Strongbow submits to O’Connor’s Spinning Toehold. Gagne/O’Connor kept the champs off-balance with their technical expertise but the champs brawled their way back into the match. The champs had a chance to win it when Wahoo nails Gagne with a belly-to-belly suplex followed by a Side Salto but Verne was able to get his shoulder up in the nick of time. Later in the match, Strongbow misses a turnbuckle charge and Pat locks in the Spinning Toehold for the win. The teams shake hands after the match as the fans give both teams a standing ovation. The champs leave the ring as the reserved Gagne takes the house mike. --Gagne tells the crowd that The Technicians have done great things as a team in Stampede. He says that the only thing missing is tag team gold around their waists. O’Connor tells the crowd they are asking the LWA Board of Directors for a shot at the National tag titles at the Deuces Wild II PPV. Gagne says The Technicians have every intention of bringing the National tag titles to Stampede. The crowd is a buzz at The Technicians remarks and get louder when two men stroll down the aisle wearing Aussie bush hats and carrying boomerangs...the Royal Kangaroos have come to Stampede. One of the men grabs the house mike from Gagne and introduces himself as Lord Jonathan Boyd. He introduces the other gentlemen as Norman Frederick Charles III and together they are known as The Royal Kangaroos. Boyd says that he’s heard Stampede is planning on sanctioning tag titles and that The Technicians are the team to beat in Stampede. Boyd says that the Royal Kangaroos are pretty damn good in their own right and they’re here to prove it. Charles says they may as well start at the top and stake their claim as the best team in Stampede. At this point, a shoving match erupts between the two teams before security can separate them. Security escort the Royal Kangaroos to the back but Boyd tells The Technicians “this isn’t over.” 8. In the Best 2/3 Falls main event, Don Leo Jonathan retains the Stampede title with another instant 5-star classic 60-minute draw with Edouardo Carpentier. This time Carpentier scored the only pinfall at the 42-minute mark with the Flying Somersault. These two match-up so well that a win in this match-up is going to be hard to come by. --Afterwards, as the crowd gives both men another standing ovation, DLJ compliments his opponent and tells Carpentier he can have a rematch anytime he wants. Keith Hart comes out and applauds both men for their efforts. Hart tells Carpentier that he’ll get another shot at the title sooner rather than later because of his efforts. Hart tells DLJ and the crowd that his next title defense will be against The Mongolian Stomper, due to DLJ being pinned by Stomper in a tag match earlier this month. The match will take place February 26th. Hart then says he spoke to DLJ/Carpentier before the match and they both agreed to the challenge he’s about to make. Hart says the team of Don Leo Jonathan and Edouardo Carpentier challenge either Demolition, The Ortons, or Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens of the GLWA to a tag match at Deuce’s Wild II.

Stampede Wrestling #13/19 Feb 2008 Exhibition Centre; Lethbridge, AB Broadcasted on 1Canada AM Networks 1. ‘Irish’ Mickey Doyle d. Mr JL with a swinging neckbreaker in a very fast paced match. Doyle kept JL grounded with his power advantage and put JL away with a swinging neckbreaker. 2. Pat O’Connor d. Lord Jonathan Boyd with a Spinning Toehold in dominating fashion. O’Connor kept Boyd at bay and only allowed the ‘Roo’ limited offense. 3. Don Muraco w/ JR Foley d. Spiros Arion by dq after Arion repeatedly rammed Muraco’s head into the ringpost. Foley gets involved but ends up eating the ringpost as well. 4. Don Leo Jonathan/Edouardo Carpentier d. Mystery of the Orient w/ JR Foley after Carpentier pins Tiger Jeet Singh with the Reverse Bodypress in a squash. DLJ/Carpentier worked well together in the face of their upcoming tag match against The Ortons at Deuces Wild. 5. Billy Robinson d. ‘Diamond’ Timothy Flowers with the Reverse Neckbreaker in another dominating performance. Robinson has been untouchable since his return 10 days ago. Robinson used his impressive array of finishers to weaken Flowers before putting him away with the Reverse Neckbreaker. 6. Verne Gagne d. Norman Frederick Charles III when Charles is caught smashing Gagne with his flagpole. Gagne was in charge in this before Charles results to heel tactics to get away from Gagne. 7. Owen Hart d. The Mongolian Stomper w/ JR Foley after he nails Stomper with 3 consecutive Diving Headbutts. Owen amazingly controlled most of the match and kept Stomper at bay with his quickness. Foley tries to get involved as usual but eats a Hart dropkick that sends him to the floor. --Afterwards, Keith Hart comes down to ringside and leads a round of applause for his little brother. Keith says that with Owen’s victory tonight, he will receive the next Stampede title shot on 26 Feb and not the Stomper. JR Foley is livid over this decision and claims referee bias against the Stomper. Foley becomes such a nuisance; he has to be escorted out of the building by the local police. 8. Bad News Brown/Scotty ‘The Body’ Poe/Bugsy McGraw d. Sam Oliver Bass/Phil Hickerson/’Dr D’ David Schultz after Brown nails Bass with the Ghetto Blaster in a hotly contested bout. Scotty is the human pin cushion in this match-up as he gets punished by his opponents. But each time it looks like Scotty is finished, he manages to make the hot tag to Brown to turn the tide.

Stampede Wrestling #14/20 Feb 2008 Cranbrook Middle School Gymnasium; Cranbrook, BC 1. The Technicians make short work of ‘Irish’ Mickey Doyle/Mr JL after Pat O’Connor forces Doyle to submit to the Spinning Toehold. Short, one-sided match in favor of Gagne/O’Connor as they gear up for a possible match at Deuce’s Wild. 2. Owen Hart/Dean Malenko d. ‘Exotic’ Adrian Street/’Diamond’ Timothy Flowers after Flowers submits to Malenko’s Cloverleaf. After the match as Malenko was gloating to the crowd, Street plants Owen with a double arm DDT. Street seductively slides off a semi-conscious Hart after giving him a kiss on the cheek. 3. Billy Robinson d. Tor Kamata with the Tombstone Piledriver. Robinson makes quick work of Kamata as he continues his hot streak since his return. Back stage rumors have Robinson in line for a possible title shot in the near future. 4. Bad News Brown/Scotty ‘The Body’ Poe d. Sam Oliver Bass/’Big’ Phil Hickerson after Brown blasts Hickerson with the Ghetto Blaster. 5. Don Leo Jonathan/Edouardo Carpentier d. The Mongolian Stomper/’Dr D’ David Schultz w/ JR Foley after DLJ puts Schultz away with the Mormon Swing. Stomper was off his game tonight obviously from his loss to Owen Hart last night. Stomper came out swinging but his aggressiveness backfired at times. Schultz had DLJ tied up in the corner as Stomper charged both men. DLJ moved and Stomper crashed into Schultz setting up the finish.

Stampede Wrestling #15/23 Feb 2008 Victoria Pavilion, Calgary, AB Broadcasted on 1Canada AM Networks 1. ‘Exotic’ Adrian Street w/ ‘Diamond’ Timothy Flowers d. Johnny Saint by countout after Flowers rams Saint into the ringpost as Street has the referee distracted. Street moves into the finals of the Commonwealth mid-heavy title tourney. Afterwards, Saint vowed revenge on Street and Flowers. 2. Dean Malenko d. Scotty ‘The Body’ Poe after Scotty misses a turnbuckle charge and Malenko rolls him up for the pinfall. Malenko gets an assist as he used a handful of trunks to keep Scotty down. The Commonwealth mid-heavy tourney final is now set. 3. Mystery of the Orient w/ JR Foley d. ‘Irish’ Mickey Doyle/Mr JL in a dominating performance from Foley’s team. Singh/Kamata toy with their opponents before Kamata put JL away with the Camel Clutch. 4. Spiros Arion/Bugsy McGraw and Mongolian Stomper/David Schultz w/ JR Foley go to a no contest when the referee throws out the match after both teams get out of control. There were chair shots all around at the finish of this one. Even Foley gets involved as he brains McGraw with a chair. 5. Owen Hart d. ‘Diamond’ Timothy Flowers with the Diving Headbutt. Owen picks up the win but at times it looked like Flowers was going to pull out the duke. Flowers used his feather boa to choke Owen several times and even planted Hart with a Piledriver. Owen fights back though and finishes strong with the Diving Headbutt. --As Bad News Brown and Scotty ‘The Body’ Poe were in the ring awaiting their opponents for the next match, Sam Oliver Bass comes out with contract in hand. Bass says that the contract they signed stated that if either Brown or Scotty has already wrestled tonight then this match becomes a handicap match. Scotty argues the clause but Bass tells him to hit the road and for Brown to take his beating like a man. 6. Sam Oliver Bass/’Big’ Phil Hickerson d. Bad News Brown in a handicap match after Bass pins Brown with the Running Powerslam. Brown had his moments in the match but the numbers game eventually caught up with him. Brown had Hickerson pinned after the Ghetto Blaster but a big boot to the head by Bass breaks it up. This allowed Hickerson enough time to make the tag and Bass finished off his rival with his finisher. 7. In the main event, Billy Robinson d. Don Muraco w/ JR Foley by countout when Foley pulls Muraco from the ring after Robinson had nailed Don with a Tombstone Piledriver. --Afterwards, JR Foley tells Billy Robinson that he’s not going ‘ride’ Foley’s Army to the top of Stampede Wrestling. Foley says that Muraco was hurt tonight but the next time they face off, Muraco will wipe the mat with him. In the meantime, Foley has a surprise for Robinson on Tuesday night. Foley finally leaves but not before telling Billy and the crowd that Tuesday night, Robinson is getting carved up like a ‘Butterball’ turkey.

BOBBY JAGGERS : First off Demolition we're not done with you, our series is tied 1-1 and I for sure want one more shot at those Bondage Wearing Goofs in a neutral spot... BRETT WAYNE SAWYER : You know what lets move on Bobby, we didn't win and thats the way it goes... I'm sure the LWA will give those chumps a LWA World Tag Team Title Shot and give us a pair of socks... BOBBY JAGGERS : I gather your right Brett, now for this challenge from Stampede Wrestling to enter their tourny for their championship... I don't think so! We're too good for that promotion and being Three States Tag Team Champions and winning those LWA World Tag Team Champions is where it's at, so we must decline! Brett Wayne Sawyer is holding a banner from Stampede Wrestling and rips it apart and both men spit on it and walk off camera...

The Oates Brothers, Ted and Jerry, have requested this time:
Ted: "Ya know, Jerry and I have been a team for quite some time around the LWA, and we're just here to let Stampede Management know that if them Outhouse Outlaws ain't interested in yer tournament, we'll be glad to step up. We may not be the flashiest or the purtiest, but we are a successful duo and will be glad to show our stuff over there."
Jerry: "Well, ain't much to add to that, we're the team that always seems to get overlooked and put down in favor of others. If the Stampede wrestlers ain't afraid, give us a shot, we'll show you what makes us so tough."

--Taped from The Dungeon
Keith Hart: First off, I have Sam Oliver Bass and Phil Hickerson here with me. I still can’t figure out why my father is going to have these two...uhh, gentlemen...make any announcement on behalf of Stampede Wrestling.
--Sam Oliver Bass shoos Hart off-camera as Hart just sighs and walks off.
Sam Oliver Bass: I also have no idea why the ‘old man’ would have me read this prepared statement and then give me free reign to say what I want. Ha, maybe the patriarch is showing a heel streak in his old age. Anyway, without further ado...the statement.
Stampede Wrestling respects Ringside Wrestling and their tag team champions. However, we are not happy with the actions of the RoughHouse Outlaws as seen earlier. The invitation is still open for Bobby Jaggers and Brett Sawyer to come to Stampede and compete against some of the best wrestlers in the world. In fact, that invitation goes for any wrestler or tag team in the LWA.
Stampede Wrestling is pleased that a team the caliber of The Oates Brothers has stepped up and accepted our invitation. Tournament pairings will be announced later in the week...blah, blah, blah.
--Phil Hickerson enters the frame holding a poster of The RoughHouse Outlaws.
Now, that’s the official statement and here’s ours. Me and ‘Big’ Phil aren’t exactly known for being loved by the fans. But one thing we do like is battling in the greatest promotion in the LWA and that’s Stampede. Outlaws...you don’t even deserve the moniker of RoughHouse Outlaws. You got beat at Deuces Wild by two dudes who are into bondage and are crying about it. You sure as hell don’t deserve to be invited to compete in a Stampede ring.
--Hickerson then proceeds to light the Outlaws poster on fire as Bass continues.
Outlaws, I wouldn’t...well, let’s just say I wouldn’t do a certain bodily function on you if you were on fire. So here’s the challenge...just name the time and place and we’ll be there to show you how the two baddest hombres in the LWA beat people up.

Stampede Wrestling #16/26 Feb 2008 Exhibition Auditorium, Regina, SK Broadcasted on 1Canada AM Networks --Before our first match of the evening, The Royal Kangaroos come out and introduce one-time Fabulous Kangaroo, ‘Bulldog’ Don Kent, as their newest member of the team. Kent calls out Gene Kiniski and says that Kiniski isn’t representing Stampede very well in Japan right now. Kent says that he’s going to make life tough for Kiniski when he returns to Stampede. 1. Mr JL def. ‘Bulldog’ Don Kent by dq after JL is attacked by the Royal Kangaroos. The Technicians charge the ring to help JL out. Kent showed serious ring rust as JL controlled virtually the entire match. JL rolls up Kent in the Victory Roll to set-up the finish. 2. ‘Exotic’ Adrian Street/’Diamond’ Timothy Flowers def. Johnny Saint/Dean Malenko after Street ‘loads’ his mask and delivers a devastating deathjump headbutt to Saint. Street seductively slides off Saint after the pin is made. Afterwards as Street/Flowers celebrate, Malenko just stalks to the back leaving his partner in the ring. 3. Bugsy McGraw def. ‘Dr D’ David Schultz with the Big Splash. McGraw rolls Schultz back into the ring and hits the Big Splash for the win. 4. Sam Oliver Bass/’Big’ Phil Hickerson def. Bad News Brown/Scotty ‘The Body’ Poe after Hickerson plants Scotty with the Big Powerslam. Brown was on fire in this one but Scotty couldn’t keep up. Scotty misses a deathjump and then gets planted by Hickerson for the finish. 5. Edouardo Carpentier/Spiros Arion def. Tor Kamata/Mongolian Stomper w/ JR Foley after Carpentier catches Kamata with the Flying Somersault. Carpentier has become a dominating force in Stampede as he’s virtually unstoppable right now. 6. The Technicians def. The Royal Kangaroos in an excellent bout after Pat O’Connor pins Lord Jonathan Boyd with the Spinning Backslide. Gagne/O’Connor came into this looking to rebound from their performance at Deuces Wild. Afterwards, Don Kent bashes Gagne with a boomerang setting up a beat down by The ‘Roos’ on The Technicians until security chases the heels from the ring. 7. Billy Robinson d. Abdullah The Butcher w/ JR Foley after successive Tombstone Piledrivers. Abdullah seemed to be feeling the effects of his brutal war this past Saturday in WCCW against Carlos Colon. Robinson pounded on Abdullah and hit a flurry of his finishers to put The Butcher away. Afterwards, Abdullah bloodies Billy with his trusty fork. Don Muraco hits the ring and joins in on the attack. Two Hawaiian Hammers later, Robinson is left crumpled in the ring. 8. In the main event, Don Leo Jonathan d. Owen Hart and retains the Stampede title when he puts Owen away with a swinging full nelson. Owen was overmatched in this one and couldn’t get much going. Owen gets out of two Mormon Swings but couldn’t do much else.

BOBBY JAGGERS : We're not crying Bass, but you will be once we get done with the likes of yourself and Hickerson... myself and Sawyer will not wrestle in Canada, we will wrestle in a neutral location... I know we've had our problems with Weirdjerod but I would like to have our match held there, if thats okey with you and it could be held the first Monday of March. BRETT WAYNE SAWYER : I have to add that the LWA is looking past our record, we have more wins then those Bondage Wearing Tampan Wearing Goofs in the last three months, so we should get a shot at the World Tag Team Belts... but back on track, Bass and Hickerson your on!

Sam Oliver Bass: There ya go again, Sawyer...worrying about the Bondage Twins when ya should be worrying 'bout us. Sawyer...we're gonna beat you and Jaggers so bad, you're gonna go crying back to big brother Buzz about how the two big baddies beat you up.
Jaggers...as for your 'lil' challenge...not only no but hell no! I may look dumb but momma didn't raise no fool. We don't trust WeirdJerod as far as we can throw him. Why in God's name would we want to wrestle in Portland? But I have a better idea...I hear the LWA is doing something special in Hotlanta on March 8th. How 'bout we get with the LWA Commish and see if we can do something special...
You two whiners...me...Hickerson...and
