A brawl erupted between the two that culminated in Mike Graham pulling them apart. As Mike was pushing his father away, Keirn seizes the opportunity to spin Mike Graham around and deliver a vicious clothesline. PWF TV; 16 Aug 2008 Eddie Graham Sports Complex; Orlando, Fl -Podium Recap-Gordon starts the show by telling everyone that PWF will present a Labor Day supercard on Monday, 1 Sep 08. He says that they are trying to get several wrestling superstars from other organizations to appear on the card as well. Gordon also comments on Iron Sheik retaining the Southern title over Dusty Rhodes via dq at last night’s SMW Unleashed PPV. This brings Killer Karl Krupp to the podium who decries Dusty’s vicious tactics and vulgar antics. Krupp says that Iron Sheik is banged up but will be ready for whomever the PWF throws at him on Labor Day. Krupp mentions that he’s banged up as well which brings out Sgt Slaughter. Slaughter grabs Krupp by the throat and tells him he’ll be up-close and personal on Labor Day. Slaughter has signed for a match against Krupp but for the next two weeks has to turn his attention elsewhere. Slaughter calls out Robert Fuller for his actions this past Sunday night. Slaughter says he hears Fuller is on his way out of Florida but for the next two weeks Slaughter will own Fuller. Slaughter has signed for two matches against Fuller and will send him out of the area on a stretcher. -The House of Humperdink is out with Gordon. Oliver Humperdink issues a challenge to the current National tag champs, Wahoo McDaniel and Chief Jay Strongbow. Humperdink says The Assassins were the #2 tag contenders at the end of June and the #3 tag contenders at the end of July and still there’s been no talk of a tag title shot for them. Humperdink demands the LWA championship committee make McDaniel and Strongbow defend those belts against The Assassins on Labor Day. The Blonde Bombers aren’t very pleased with Humperdink campaigning for the Assassins. They are the Florida tag champs and deserve a shot as well. An argument starts between Rip Hawk and Assassin #1 as the show goes to a break. -The big angle of the show involved Eddie Graham, Steve Keirn, and Mr Olympia. Sawyer uses his Powerslam shortly after to pick up the duke. 3. Harker Dirge/Missing Link def. Rocky Johnson/Tony GareaRocky Johnson was on fire in this one as he beat Harker Dirge from pillar to post. The finish came as Tony Garea had landed a standing dropkick on Dirge for a pinfall attempt. Missing Link broke up the pinfall and started a brawl with Rocky Johnson. This gave Norvell Austin the opportunity to smash Tony Garea with a steel chair and Harker Dirge follows with the Dirt Nap for the win. Austin pulls Johnson from the ring pointing at the downed Garea, saying ’you should be my tag partner and you wouldn’t lose.’ Rocky goes back against Austin’s wishes and helps Garea to the back. 4. Johnny Weaver dq Akira MaedaTempers flared in this one and it seems a rematch will be in short order. Weaver misses a turnbuckle charge and eats a Maeda elbow. PWF TV; 23 Aug 2008 Suwannee High School; Live Oak, Fl -Podium News-The show opened up with a video sent in from SMW’s Dusty Rhodes. Dusty talks about ’running’ the roads in Florida on previous ’Funky Like a Monkey’ tours and for one night, the ’FLM’ tour will ride again. Dusty says he asked for a No DQ match and got it. He’s going to win the PWF title for the people of Florida. We go from there to Iron Sheik and Killer Karl Krupp storming around the podium set. There’s ‘patooeys’ all around from Iron Sheik and Krupp is upset with the No DQ stipulation for the match. Krupp tells Iron Sheik to go to the back and grab a wrestler, any wrestler, and show Dusty Rhodes and the world what Iron Sheik can do. We come back from commercial and Iron Sheik has dragged Charlie Cook out and is working him over, yelling this is what Dusty Rhodes is in for. Karl Krupp is still arguing with Gordon Solie about the No DQ stipulation as Iron Sheik makes an example of Cook. Sheik finally stops toying with Cook and finishes him off with the Camel Clutch. After the match, Krupp helps Sheik keep up the assault before security can restore order. Iron Sheik yells at Gordon as they head to the back saying expect Rhodes to suffer the beating that Cook just suffered. -Gordon brought out Norvell Austin and asked him to explain his actions of late specifically helping Rocky Johnson and not Tony Garea. Norvell explained he was tired of Rocky getting the short end of the stick. His team with Garea is a failure and he knows Rocky is a proud man and it hurts him inside to lose each week. Tony Garea comes out and challenges Norvell Austin to prove he’s a failure. The two squared off later in the show and Tony Garea won via dq after Norvell Austin refused to release a blatant chokehold. Afterwards, Austin keeps up the beating as Rocky Johnson comes out to ringside. Rocky hesitates before finally pulling Austin off Garea. -Mr Wrestling comes out and explains that the ‘mysterious’ red mist that Harker Dirge spit into his mask and eyes was actually blood. Mr Wrestling said that he had to be tested but the tests were negative. Suddenly, Harker Dirge appears at the podium; it seems like he appeared out of thin air. Dirge looks directly into Mr Wrestling’s eyes and tells him he will accept a First Blood match with Dirge at Labor Day Spectacular. Amazingly, Mr Wrestling accepts and then the lights go out in the arena. When the lights come back up, Dirge is gone and Mr Wrestling asks what happened and Gordon says he thinks Mr Wrestling accepted a First Blood match against Harker Dirge. -Matches-1. Iron Sheik decimated Charlie Cook with the Camel Clutch in a non-title bout. 2. Southern Rockers defeated Rock-n-Roll RPMs with the Rocker Plex. 3. Tony Garea beat Norvell Austin via dq after Austin wouldn’t release a chokehold. 4. Mr Olympia retained the Florida TV title over Rocky Johnson with the Sleeperhold.

However, much to the crowd’s surprise, Johnson levels Garea with a flying clothesline as Garea was getting to his feet. The crowd boos Johnson and Austin as they toss Garea out of the ring. Johnny Valentine to earn a Florida title shotThe two House of Humperdink members shook hands before the bell but went to war afterwards. Valentine and Rip Hawk combined to double team Roop as Swede Hanson distracted the referee but Valentine missed an Atomic Skullcrusher and hit Hawk instead. When the smoke cleared, Bob Roop used the Shoulder Breaker to keep Johnny V down long enough to win the match. Afterwards, with Oliver Humperdink directing the action, the Blonde Bombers along with the Assassins and Bob Roop attacked Johnny Valentine. Rip Hawk and Swede Hanson both took turns delivering devastating Piledrivers until Valentine was limp in the corner. ‘Mad Dog’ Buzz Sawyer came out of the crowd and attacked the Assassins with his steel chain. Roop and the Bombers turned their attention to the Assassins and beat them until blood was pouring out from underneath their masks. PWF Labor Day Spectacular; 01 Sep 2008 Bayfront Center; St Petersburg, Fl Televised live on In Demand Florida 1. Jimmy Snuka def. Dino BravoA surprise match to the start the show as the crowd was thrilled to see Jimmy Snuka. It was announced before the match that Snuka had signed with PWF. Snuka was on a roll early and looked to end it early but missed the Superfly Leap. Dino Bravo took over and controlled a significant portion of the match but couldn’t put Snuka away. Bravo misses a turnbuckle charge and Snuka looks to ‘fly’ again but misses the Leap a second time. Again, Bravo looks to pick up the win but misses a standing dropkick. Snuka takes charge and lands the Leap(+5) this time but, amazingly, Bravo kicks out. The crowd is in a frenzy as Snuka mounts the buckles a fourth time and lands the Leap(+1) again. This time, however, Bravo stays down for the three count. Snuka flashes the ‘I Love You’ sign to the crowd before making his way to the back. 2. Norvell Austin/Rocky Johnson def. Southern RockersThis match came about after the Rockers saved Tony Garea after Rocky Johnson’s heel turn. Norvell Austin has vowed to punish the Rockers during this match. The Rockers nearly end the match early with the Rocker Plex on Austin. Austin uses a brass knuckle shot on Rex King to take the advantage and Rocky Johnson nearly ends the match with a swinging neckbreaker but Doll is able to break up the tag. Austin goes to the outside and King dives through the ropes but Austin power slams King for his trouble. Back in the ring, Johnson hits the Flying Body Press and Austin stops Doll from making the save as Austin/Johnson pick up the duke. 3. ‘Cowboy’ Ron Bass def. Mr Olympia to win the Florida TV titleRon Bass earned this match by pinning Mr Olympia in a tag match last Sunday. Mr Olympia catches Bass with a flying dropkick at the opening bell and nearly picks up the quick win. Bass battles back but the resilient champion gets out of two nearfalls just in the nick of time. Bass continues the unrelenting assault and after two Running Powerslams, gets the win and the title. 4. Harker Dirge def. Mr Wrestling in a First Blood matchMr Wrestling dominated large portions of the match but couldn’t get Harker Dirge to bleed. Finally, Mr Wrestling opened Dirge up with a vicious chair shot and a ringpost ram but, by this time, Missing Link was at ringside distracting the referee. This gave Dirge the opportunity to spit the ‘blood’ mist into the eyes and mask of Mr Wrestling. The ref sees the ‘blood’ all over Mr Wrestling’s mask and calls for the bell. Mr Wrestling is livid afterwards but the ref stands by his decision. 5. Killer Karl Krupp/Mystery Partner def. Sgt Slaughter/Johnny WeaverThe old Soviet national anthem blared out over the loud speakers signaling Nikolai Volkoff’s addition to the PWF roster and the answer to who would be Karl Krupp’s tag partner. Volkoff tried to sing the anthem but was interrupted by the Star Spangled Banner. Krupp and Volkoff attacked Slaughter/Weaver before the opening bell and dumped Weaver to the floor concentrating on Slaughter. Before the referee can restore order, Slaughter has been busted open by several shots from Krupp’s riding crop. As Volkoff is pounding on Slaughter, Krupp delivers two crushing Prussian Kicks to Johnny Weaver on the outside and handcuffs Weaver to the security railing. Back inside the ring, Slaughter’s face is a crimson mask as it’s Krupp’s turn to pound on Slaughter. Slaughter tries to make a valiant comeback but falls to Volkoff’s Backbreaker Drop. 6. ‘Mad Dog’ Buzz Sawyer def. Tazz in a Dog Collar matchNo love loss between these two and this blood feud will only get more violent after what happened after the match. Tazz got some good shots in early and busts Sawyer open. But once Sawyer saw his own blood the rout was on. Sawyer dominated Tazz with several big chain shots and Mad Dog Pounces. Sawyer tosses Tazz over the top rope and hangs his foe with the chain. By this point, Tazz is out but Sawyer pulls Tazz up after a huge Powerslam looking to inflict more punishment. Sawyer mounts Tazz and rains several chain-assisted punches down on Tazz. Tazz is bleeding profusely and barely stirring as the referee calls for the bell; awarding the match to Sawyer. Afterwards as Sawyer is making his way to the back soaking in the jeers from the crowd, Tazz makes it to his feet yelling at Sawyer that this is far from over. 7. Steve Keirn def. Eddie Graham in a Steel Cage/Taped Fist matchMike Graham accompanies his dad to the ring and gets in Steve Keirn’s face before Keirn enters the cage. Keirn tells Mike that when he’s finished with Eddie, he’s coming after him next. Once the match started and the fists started to fly, it was clear Steve Keirn had brass knuckles taped to his right hand. Keirn busts Graham open early and often. Graham fights back and bloodies Keirn with his fist and by ramming him into the cage. Graham looks to end the match and plants Keirn with the Atomic Kneedrop. Suddenly, PWF newcomers, Jimmy Garvin and Precious, attack Mike Graham on the outside. Seeing this, Eddie Graham starts climbing the cage to get out and help his son. Precious sprays Eddie in the eyes with hairspray and Eddie falls to the canvas. Steve Keirn pounces on Eddie Graham and drives him into the canvas with the Piledriver for the win. Afterwards, Steve Keirn blasts a downed Mike Graham on the outside as he celebrates with Garvin and Precious. 8. Interns def. Blonde Bombers to win the Florida tag titlesThe Interns, fresh off their non-title win over the Bombers, look to prove they deserve the belts. Sir Oliver Humperdink has said he will prevent the Bombers from losing the titles. The Blonde Bombers start out in control thanks to Oliver Humperdink. However, The Assassins make an appearance as Assassin #2 hauls Humperdink to the back and takes him out of the match. Swede Hanson, obviously distracted by the Assassins appearance, falls to an Assassin #1 ‘loaded’ headbutt. Intern #2 follows with the Ether Rag Knockout for the win. Afterwards, the Bombers chase Assassin #1 to the back. 9. Barry Windham def. Bob Roop to retain the Florida titleBob Roop comes in as Oliver Humperdink’s last hope to bring home a title but Humperdink is not a ringside when the match starts. The match starts badly for Roop and doesn't get any better. Barry Windham was his usual dominate self and finishes Roop off in under 5 minutes with the Sweetwater Suplex. Bob Roop, obviously upset at his poor performance, stalks to the back looking for Oliver Humperdink as the camera follows. Roop gets to the back but finds Humperdink laying in a pool of blood with Assassin #1 standing over him. The Assassin tells Roop that soon Johnny Valentine will extract his revenge on you in spades. The camera cuts out as Assassin laughs. 10. Dusty Rhodes def. Iron Sheik to win the Southern titleIron Sheik and Killer Karl Krupp jump Dusty Rhodes before the opening bell. Rhodes absorbs a tremendous amount of punishment and gets cut open early. Dusty bleeds as only he can with the referee only a heartbeat away from awarding the match to Iron Sheik due to blood loss. The crowd rallies behind Dusty as he fights out of 2 Camel Clutches. Krupp is livid the ref didn’t call for the bell and the crowd erupts in cheers as Sgt Slaughter is out at ringside. Slaughter battles Krupp around the ring and Iron Sheik comes out to help Krupp fend off Slaughter. Dusty catches Sheik coming through the ropes with a Bionic Elbow. Now, it’s Sheik’s turn to absorb the punishment as he survives several nearfalls and the Figure Four Leglock. The crowd is on the edge of its seat in anticipation of a title change. Dusty locks Sheik in the Figure Four again and the Sheik fights off the pain as Krupp gets in the ring to break up the hold. However, Slaughter catches Krupp in the Cobra Clutch before he gets the chance. By this point, Sheik is slumped on the mat as the ref pounds the canvas 3 times giving Dusty the win and the title. Afterwards as the crowd is celebrating, Nikolai Volkoff comes out waving the Soviet flag with a pair of broken handcuffs on each wrist. Volkoff destroys both Slaughter and Rhodes with the flag staff before draping the old Soviet flag over both fan favorites. The fans are in an uproar as Volkoff helps Krupp and Sheik to the back.
