Thanks Crimson and Biz for the replies!
Card 22: D.E.W. TV Taping on Monday, June 1, 2009 @ the Maples Pavilion in Stamford CA
Donald Trump was in the center of the ring with a couple of things to say before the night's card began: "Hello and welcome, people! As you know, Ted Arcidi is not the D.E.W. General Manager anymore after I fired him at the Pay-Per-View. I have a candidate that I am considering for the position, and will let you know who the new General Manager will be on the next fight card.
Also on the next fight card will be a Fatal Four-way match to determine who will lead the team to oppose the Golden State Renegades in June. The match will be between: "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Ted Arcidi, Ron Garvin, and Ed Wiskowski. And speaking of Ed Wiskowski...
Ed Wiskowski requested this time to introduce his new team."
Wiskowski came down to the ring, followed by Nathan Jones, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, and a couple of unknown wrestlers. The unknown wrestlers seemed to be about six feet tall and three hundred and twenty pounds each. They both wore face paint and looked extremely wild! Wiskowski introduced his team while Trump exited and returned to the dressing rooms.
"Thank you, Mr. Trump. It is time to introduce the greatest team ever to the wrestling world! Here I have a collection of four of the most powerful athletes ever assembled in one ring! All of you know Nathan Jones & Steve McMichael. Well, let me introduce to you my latest acquisitions: The Headhunters! These two will be Tag Champs in no time! But that’s not all! We are now THE premiere super-group in D.E.W.! Ladies and gentlemen, I give you:
[glow=black,2,300][/glow] All four wrestlers took a bow, and shook hands with each other. Wiskowski looked extremely pleased with himself, and so did the rest of this new super-group. They all displayed four fingers that used to represent "The Four Horsemen", but in this case, they now represented "Power4Life"! What did the future hold in store for this powerful team? We shall all find out soon...
[/b][/color] MATCH 1: DON GREENE VS BIG RED Big Red started the match off with the first pin attempt on a Double Fist. Don Greene countered with his finisher, then later in the match was able to secure the win with another big move. Don Greene won with a Backbreaker in a time of 5:21. MATCH 2: LARRY ZYBYSZKO & STANISLAUS ZYBYSZKO VS BIG BOSSMAN & BULL BUCHANAN Larry & Stanislaus Zybyszko won when Bull Buchanan was disqualified against Larry Zybyszko in a time of just 0:35! MATCH 3: MAGNUM T.A. VS TEIJHO KHAN Magnum T.A. seemed to have the match in hand, as he almost got the win on three occasions, including after using his finisher two times in a row. But Teijho Khan sprang to life shortly after that, and used his own finisher to set up a shocking upset in this match! Teijho Khan won with a Trapezius hold in a time of 6:33. MATCH 4: RPM MIKE DAVIS VS NATHAN JONES -- Lumberjack Match Outside interference gave Jones the early control here. Davis was able to use his finisher, which slowed down the powerful Nathan Jones a bit. Jones came back though and nearly put Davis away with a power move. Davis regained his composure and fired off three pin attempts before he was able to get the win in a match that lasted over fifteen minutes. RPM Mike Davis won with a Hurricanrana in a time of 15:26. MATCH 5: IVAN PUTSKI & TITO SANTANA VS THE HEADHUNTERS (with Ed Wiskowski) Confident of a win in their debut, Ed Wiskowski let his Headhunters run amok in the ring! Tito Santana fought bravely, but a win for Santana's team was not meant to be in this one. The Headhunters won when Headhunter B used his finisher-TOP ROPE SPLASH on Tito Santana in a time of 5:54. MATCH 6: D.E.W. TELEVISION CHAMP AL GREENE (with Don Greene) VS TYPHOON (with Big Boss Man) -- Non-title Bout A back-and-forth match all the way, as these two battled to a double count-out. Both wrestlers were counted-out in a time of 8:25. MATCH 7: MARK YOUNGBLOOD (with Jay Youngblood) VS HANS SCHMIDT Hans Schmidt was in trouble early in his D.E.W. debut match. Mark Youngblood used his finisher early and got two near-falls on Schmidt before Hans got himself DQed here. Mark Youngblood won when Hans Schmidt was disqualified for not releasing a Blatant Chokehold in a time of 5:44. MATCH 8: D.E.W. HARDCORE CHAMPION "MEAN" MIKE ENOS VS TEST -- Title Bout Enos got a couple of quick near-falls to start the match, then it was fairly even for the next several minutes. Test almost got the pin with a Pump Handle Slam. Then Enos took over and was able to put Test away with a big move off the top turnbuckle to retain the championship! “Mean” Mike Enos won with a Flying Leg Drop in a time of 10:49, thus Enos retained the Hardcore Belt! Thanks for the comment, Crimson! Let's see where Power4Life leads...
Card 23: D.E.W. TV Taping on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 @ the Haas Pavilion in Berkeley CA Donald Trump was in the center of the ring as the crowd awaited the announcement of who would be the new D.E.W. General Manager. Trump wasted no time in making that announcement to the crowd: "Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the new D.E.W. General Manager -- IVANKA TRUMP!"
Out came Trump's daughter Ivanka, looking stunningly beautiful! She had a grace about her unmatched by many who have tried. She had this to say to the crowd: "Greetings, everyone! I will do my best as General Manager to provide you, the fans, with the greatest matches possible in this federation! Tonight, we may even crown a new Team Leader to go against the Golden State Renegades! This is only the beginning of better times ahead! And I look forward to making this the greatest federation the LWA has ever seen!"
And thus, Ivanka Trump's career as General Manager started!
MATCH 1: RPM TOMMY LANE VS STEVIE RICHARDS A couple of Tornado D.D.T.'s by Richards equaled a win in his debut match here in D.E.W. Stevie Richards won with a Tornado DDT in a time of 6:40.
MATCH 2: JON PAUL DeMANS & RICKY RICE (Top Guns) VS AL COSTELLO & ROY HEFFERNAN (Fabulous Kangaroos, with Red Berry) Frequent tags by both teams were the order of the day for this match. The Top Guns scored the first pin attempt of the match as Ricky Rice delivered Standing Dropkicks to Roy Heffernan. Al Costello quickly tagged in and unleashed the Roos tag finisher, followed by Heffernan using his own finisher. After that, the Roos took command of the match and showed the Top Guns what tag team wrestling is all about! In the end, the Roos won in this, the longest fight of the card. Al Costello & Roy Heffernan won when Costello pinned DeMans after Heffernan's tag finisher-BOOMERANG in a time of 23:50.
MATCH 3: WAHOO McDANIEL VS STEVE "MONGO" McMICHAEL (with Ed Wiskowski) McMichael tried to take home the win early, getting three near-falls on McDaniel before Wahoo went on the offensive. When Wahoo was finally able to let loose, he over-whelmed McMichael with three near-falls, and used his finisher twice to secure the win in this match-up. Wahoo McDaniel won with his finisher-TOMAHAWK CHOP in a time of 4:32.
MATCH 4: D.E.W. TAG CHAMPS DUTCH SAVAGE & JIMMY SNUKA VS AL MADRIL & AL PEREZ -- Non-title Bout Right out of the gate, Dutch Savage came out with guns a-blazing! Savage had a near-fall against Al Perez, then used his finisher on him, nearly getting the win. In tagged Snuka, and Snuka continued the assault on Perez. Al Perez finally managed to tag in Al Madril, but Madril did not muster enough offense to stop Snuka from climbing the top rope en route to a victory! Dutch Savage & Jimmy Snuka won when Snuka used his finisher-SUPERFLY DEATHLEAP on Al Madril in a time of 11:41.
MATCH 5: BILLY WHITE WOLF (with Jay Youngblood) VS "RAGING BULL" MANNY FERNANDEZ This was an off-night for Fernandez, as White Wolf quickly surprised Manny with a quick win. Billy White Wolf won with a Back Suplex in a time of 3:26.
MATCH 6: D.E.W. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION JAY YOUNGBLOOD VS KILLER KHAN -- Non-title Bout In a match that was perhaps one of the biggest matches of his title reign, Jay Youngblood took on the Mongolian Madman, Killer Khan! Putting the butterflies in his stomach aside, the Champion looked very sharp against his opponent in this match. After using his finisher once, and getting a near-fall, Jay slapped on his finisher again, and it was nighty-night for Khan! Jay Youngblood won with his finisher-SLEEPERHOLD in a time of 4:41.
MATCH 7: MIKE GRAHAM VS WAYNE "THE TRAIN" BLOOM -- Steel Cage Graham started out quick and nearly escaped the cage, but Bloom stopped him. Nearly ten minutes of fighting occurred before Bloom finally got the upper hand here. An Elbow Drop nearly gave Bloom time enough to escape, but Graham was able to stop him. One more move was all that Bloom needed as he went on to win this one by escaping the cage first! Roddy Piper was there to greet his teammate and congratulate him after the hard-fought victory. Wayne "The Train" Bloom won after a Cross Body Block in a time of 14:04.
MATCH 8: TED ARCIDI VS RON GARVIN VS RODDY PIPER VS ED WISKOWSI -- Fatal 4-Way Elimination
FIRST FALL: "Rowdy" Roddy Piper nearly eliminated Ron Garvin with a Running Clothesline, but Ed Wiskowski made the save, only to get clotheslined himself. Roddy Piper then slapped on his finisher on Ed Wiskowski, but Wiskowski barely broke the hold. Ted Arcidi then used his Bearhug finisher on "Hands of Stone" Ron Garvin, but Wiskowski interfered. With Garvin in a weakened state, Wiskowski eliminated him for the first fall of the match. Ed Wiskowski pinned Ron Garvin with his finisher-FLYING HEADBUTT in 10:30.
SECOND FALL: Wiskowski continued where he left off for the start of the second fall, as he nearly put away Ted Arcidi with his finisher. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper came in and used his finisher on Wiskowski, only to have Arcidi break it up. Piper then battled Arcidi and finally managed to use his finisher against the former D.E.W. General Manager on his way to eliminating Arcidi from the match! Roddy Piper won over Ted Arcidi with his finisher-SLEEPERHOLD in a time of 18:18.
FINAL FALL: The final fall was fairly quick, as Wiskowski sneak-attacked Piper right after Piper let go of Arcidi, then Wiskowski exploded on offense on his way to victory in this Fatal 4-Way! Ed Wiskowski won the match after pinning Roddy Piper with his finisher-FLYING HEADBUTT in a time of 3:15 to become the new Team Leader against the Golden State Renegades!
