From all reviews, they agreed Cena going over like Superman really killed any momentum from Nexus.
It's probably, if booked right, could have been effective for a couple more PPVs

It seems like Nexus might break up, which may be for the best given the way they lost last night. Or at the very least, Barrett gets booted as leader and someone else takes over. I don't know, Nexus losing really fucked up the whole thing.

I think you guys are all over estimating the Es booking..Its booked for a 8 year old...The NEXUS will lose and that will be that...
I posted that on 8/10...WWE has no idea where they are going with anything..there are a ton of ways they could have gone to get that angle over and they did not do any of them...I swear that anyone on this board could book better than them.

Who cares if the kids go home sad if Cena doesn't win. Have him get his heat back when the cameras quit rolling

A good friend of mine here in my neck of the woods told me weeks ago the Nexus group should be done a long time ago and he'll be happy that Cena won over Nexus...
I really have given up on the WWE right now, it just has no entertaining value for me and that stems from too much is not a good thing and the WWE has too much...

We know Cena is super over, so why give him the extra rub? If you were having Team WWE win, why not gamble and have Danielson as the final guy to give him a main event rub?

It would give people in the industry, even the Smarks, reason to talk if they felt Cena still needed the rub, have him interfere to help Danielson win and they can celebrate in the ring

I guess because the whole thing began when they attacked him, it meant to WWE that he should get the win. The fans were already enough behind Dragon that if it came down to him, they would have been just as happy with him winning. And also, it seems they're continuing the Miz/Danielson thing, since Miz helped Nexus eliminate Danielson last night.

I saw an unnamed person on some other board saying you always have to buy the big four PPVs?
Really? You want to spend $40 to see Danielson return? That was worth it? I gotta have more than that

I gotta have more than that $45 now. I admit, I ordered SummerSlam because it's one of the big four. The card looked bad, and the show came off as the card looked with the exception of Sheamus/Orton and the main event. Straight up, the show had some real bad booking behind it.

I gotta have more than that I don't buy pay-per-views anymore, they to me are just high priced television shows now and not worth paying for and this person you speak about is a "WWE Blinder Wearing Zombie"...

$45 now?! We used to have guy nights and we'd chip in. But we all agreed, it was like paying high $ for Raw or Smackdown. The days of PPVs being really memorable seem to be over. We began thinking that when they did the brand PPVs

We began thinking that when they did the brand PPVs Yeah, they jacked up the price starting with Royal Rumble, so I've retired of just waiting three weeks for them to come out on DVD for $15 when it comes to anything but the big four. Shitty as they can be, hard as it's been to watch Survivor Series for the past few years, it's still the big four. It seems that when PPVs are memorable nowadays, it's because they suck, or were one-match shows (WrestleMania 25).
