$45 now?! We used to have guy nights and we'd chip in. But we all agreed, it was like paying high $ for Raw or Smackdown. The days of PPVs being really memorable seem to be over. We began thinking that when they did the brand PPVs Beyond blinder wearing Dennis We just to do that but everyone has pretty much lost interest and I dont feel putting out the 45 bucks when I can buy it on DVD at probably half the cost of the PPV

The last WWE pay-per-view I enjoyed was when Eddie and Benoit were champions at the end of Wrestlemania, but that is not being at one LIVE and that was Armageddon here in Buffalo when Jeff Hardy won the belt, but being at a LIVE event is different then sitting at home these days...

Armageddon 2008 was an awesome PPV, I can only imagine it came off better live than on TV/DVD. I agree about seeing a live event being different than watching it on TV. I remember thinking Over the Limit was a good show, and when I got home, everyone told me I went to a shitty PPV. I rewatched it, it came off better in the building than on TV, it seems. I could, however, tell that RAW on 1/4 (which I was at) was a terrible show. I left early that night. I saw Bret return, saw DX/Jerishow, saw that relatively nobody in the building other than three people on my side of the building (myself included) applauded the Steve Williams tribute graphic, and I left.

I was at the RAW when the two NASCAR guys guest hosted and that was a good RAW too, but before those two WWE events I went to the rest were not that good because of who was around me and it just sucked...

I hear that re: people around you ruining the events. That's what happened on 1/4. Some big black chick kept screaming and starting fights and shit, and that paired with the fact it just wasn't a good show just made things worse. The episode with the NASCAR guys, was that the week of, or the night after Bragging Rights? I know they hosted around then, but I'm not 100% sure which episode it was.

The best WWE show I've been to in a long time was the RAW thanksgiving hosted by Jesse Ventura. That was also the show when Sheamus won the breakthrough battle royal

I saw this on another site. Is this true? Fun fact: Daniel Bryan was fired from WWE for choking an announcer with his tie, due to fears that this could bring attention to the Benoit murders in the midst of Linda McMahon's senate run. Immediately upon his return, Daniel Bryan eliminated Heath Slater by submission...
Using the Crippler Crossface.

I've seen talks too about how Bryan will be using the Crippler Crossface as his finisher now in the WWE, but I can't confirm it but it's all strange for sure with the rules rumor and everything else surrounding Bryan...

It's not the Crippler Crossface. It's a Omoplata (shoulderlock) crossface. Similar, but not the same.
And he eliminated Darren Young first, Heath Slater was the third to last member of Nexus to be eliminated.
Here's the move he used. The setup, and the way it looks is actually different than the Benoit crossface.
