It took a while, but I watched The Expendables and it's a good action film, very cool seeing that cast in this film and I liked the role of Eric Roberts...

Black Swan and Love and Other Drugs are 2 worthy films to rent/buy! I give them both *** out of 4 stars. Natalie Portman won the Oscar for Black Swan, and she was amazing. It was directed by the same guy who did The Wrestler.

Kelly and I watched (while Haley had her bottle and dosed off) the Blu-Ray for Dragon Wars. I know alot of ppl hate on this movie, and the acting is not much above TV sit-com level, but the effects are solid and the story is pretty good.

Anatomy of a Psycho is a lame JD exploitation movie. There's very little exploitation and a whole lot of lame. The Wasp Woman is a fun monster movie, with a cosmetics tycoon turned into the titular wasp woman by a new skin care product using wasp venom.

I have seen more from that list (is that a good thing or bad thing)... Wasp Woman's poster is classic, the movie....watchable, but I do like cheesy. Frankenstein 80, The Invisible Killer & Bloody Pit of Horror are okay, nothing too special.

In the last two weeks watched both Gojira (1984)/The Return of Godzilla and it's American counterpart Godzilla 1985. Godzilla 1985 has some really goofy elements, but as a general rule I liked the movie quite a bit, having watched it a lot on video as a kid. But SWEET CHRISTMAS you will never watch G85 again once you have seen G84. Just a substantially better film in pretty much every regard.

Tron is out on dvd now. Was it really any good, or one of those films that's all special effects and not much else?

I think I'm in the minority, but I really enjoyed the Matthew Broderick Godzilla from the early 90s.. the one where there were baby Godzillas in MSG. Very fun movie, IMO.

G'98 is not bad if you take the right mindset. IE, that monster is Zilla, not Gojira/Godzilla. It's a seperate, different monster.
That doesn't help the God-awful script and acting, but its a start at least.
Best bits ever regarding Zilla:
--In Godzilla-Mothra-King Ghidorah: All Out Giant Monsters Attack (2002), during a military briefing, one soldier turns to the one next to him. "Didn't Godzilla attack America in the late 90s?" "Well, that's what the Americans called it."
--In Godzilla: Final Wars (2005), after Zilla is killed by Godzilla following a blast of atomic breath, the Controller of Planet X says "I knew that tuna eating monster was worthless."
